Truly evil people will FAKE A BABY'S DEATH!

I was watching "All My Children" today, although it was hard to concentrate because my mom was LAUGHING SO HARD.
Admittedly, it was pretty funny.
"They took Matthew...I mean, Trevor. And they faked the baby's death! But his mother will only get custody if she moves in with the crazy father! GASP!"
Fun fun fun.
No, I didn't go to school. School isn't even out yet.
I got out of the shower and smelled something iffy, and all of a sudden, there's this uncontrollable gag reflex. So I kind of passed out on the bed and my mom agreed there was nothing important I was going to miss at school today.
Although my history teacher would have pitched a fit.
He probably did. He'll probably yell at me all day tomorrow.
Whatever. He is SO full of it.
He made a big deal about how much he loves America, and then went on to describe the reasons he hates it.
Yeah, it made a lot of sense.
So that class sucks, but Chemistry ended up being awesome!
Mr. Daniel told us a story about aliens that shot three pieces of paper, which couldn't have just been litter. No, there was a message, which he revealed with ammonia or something.
Then he showed us his squirt bottle, AKA "No-Doze", and it had at least 50 tally marks of students he'd woken with it.
Ha. You're going DOWN, Emory.
Math looks all right. Mrs. Erickson is pretty chill about homework and whatnot. WE DON'T HAVE TO TURN IN NOTES. AND I have that class with a BUNCH of my friends.
Band's all right. We were playing pep today and I missed it. Maybe we'll play at the assembly tomorrow...
There's a cute girl in my history class who may or may not be a foreign exchange student. Hmmmm...
Women's Studies might be okay once we get started. But Innovative Fitness is hopelessly boring when you're forced to listen to lectures about excercising rather than actually doing it.
Argh. Now I'm addicted to Farkle, peppermints, and Milk Duds. I'm definitely going to like it when PE actually starts up. Ryan made fun of me for taking the class, though. He told me it was "shameful". Which it is. It's mostly girls...but there are 2 guys. They look scared, excited, and bored out of their minds.
Blah. It was the most boring day of school I've ever had.
Hopefully this year will get better...but there's football on Saturday! How could I forget!
But we have to sacrifice a virgin to our star quarterback. It's the only way to keep him happy.
Hopefully it won't be me. I'll be busy.

I want to wash my hair in snow

Shampoo works better, but that's okay.
I woke up this morning to a beautiful snowy neighborhood. The view out my window looked like a Thomas Kinkaid painting.
Did anyone else have a psycho 4th grade teacher who LOVED Thomas Kinkaid and forced her students to copy his paintings?
Wasn't it so lame that if you didn't make your painting look EXACTLY like his, you got a low grade?
Sorry SOME of us aren't as artistically talented as others.
And this man has been painting forever. It's not like a couple 4th graders are going to do a perfect job of copying his paintings.
"I've only seen paintings of this painting!"
So yeah, I'm not bitter or anything.
But anyway, as sinful as it sounds, I really DID NOT want to go to church today, and was convinced that the snow meant there would BE no church.
But no. There was church. The snow was just a ruse.
Sigh.
Then we were at a family Christmas party up on Fox Island and it started snowing really heavily and William and I were so PUMPED. NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!!! WOOOO!!!
And then we got home and found all of OUR snow melted and gone.
The Suicide Hotline didn't answer my frantic phone call. How depressing.
Tie loved the snow, unlike Oggy, who detested it. She was frolicking around in the backyard, licking up mouthfuls and writing her name in colorful excrement.
I'm writing my English essay on the focus on male relationships in both "Night" and "Swing Kids". I hope Mr. Rosendale doesn't think I'm referring to homoerotic overtones scholars are so convinced they've found in other examples of literature, such as "Romeo and Juliet" (also titled "Romeo and Mercutio").
At least no one else will have done this topic.
But I might be surprised.
The family Christmas party wasn't so bad. Everyone spent a lot of time gazing adorably at baby Riley and there was a lot of good food.
I always feel out of place in our family, though. I'm thinking it's because of the dark hair. Almost everyone in my extended family (on my mom's side, anyway) has blonde hair and blue eyes, except for a few people only related by marriage. But they're all so perfect-Aryan and Scandinavian that I feel like hiding with my dark-haired father and siblings in a corner.
I feel like I've tainted the gene pool.
Actually, it's my dad who's tainted the gene pool.
And my relatives aren't pyscho Nazis, but I feel OUT OF PLACE. People can't tell I'm related to my mom, or my grandparents, or my cousins.
THEY'RE TRYING TO SET ME UP WITH MY SECOND COUSIN! At least I think he's my second cousin. Something like that.
I really hope they don't believe in arranged marriage.
Aaagh.
But if I did marry him, we probably shouldn't have kids.
They'll taint the gene pool.

What could be better than Designer Week at Ross?

You Are China

You adhere to the ideas of loyalty, honesty, sincerity, and duty.

You respect authority and age. You believe in social harmony.

You are big and bold. People consider you to be someone with a lot of potential.

You are coming into your own right now, and you are figuring out your place in the world.

School is AMAZING!!
My life is finally complete!
For the second day at school, a LOT happened.
There are TWO German exchange students at school (not to mention a Korean one, a Mongolian one, and other people from various countries), and I got the name of one of them wrong, so he waited for me after to class in order to correct me.
And I still don't know his name.
We're having a party in English!! Aaaah!! He's bringing music and magazines and glue sticks! We're all making collages!!
French is pretty fun. Mr. Anspach was like, "Anouk, huh? Is that Moroccan?" Um, maybe. We just reviewed concepts like "etre" and "aller" and it's all coming back. Janessa's name is Cosette. Jealous.
Heh, band is too cool. We talked about how students have no rights at all, because police could basically search you if they had an okay, if not shaky, reason.
There are beans involved.
We're starting a science project tomorrow. XP Today, though, we had to interview another person, so I interviewed Tyler.
He told everyone I want to go to WSU to be a lizard veterinarian.
Tony actually took him seriously.
My locker got fixed!! School is so amazing!! Lunch sucks!!
PE is off to an interesting start. The PE teacher made us play a weird variation of "Rock, Paper, Scissors".
PE man: Okay, I'm going to say a word, and you're going to say a word, and then you play Rock, Paper, Scissors. And you have to move.
Kids: What??
PE man: Okay, how you play Rock, Paper, Scissors is....
Kids: No, no, we get THAT part.
PE man: Okay, your first word is DIVORCE!
Kids: ????????????
PE man: Say the next word.
Kids: What's the next word??
PE man: You tell me.
Kids: Depressing?
PE man: GREAT! That word has to do with fitness, you know.
Kids: Right....WHY DO WE HAVE HAVE TO PLAY ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS?

Everything's dumber in Texas

ALEXIS ISN'T MOVING TO TEXAS!!
Kevin told me as we were walking to math (there was an open house tonight).
Which explains why she's planning on painting her new room.
YAAAAY!
Open House was cool. I met all my teachers, and they seem nice, except for my psycho PE teacher.
He was talking about how aerobics is working out with oxygen.
???????
Don't you ALWAYS use oxygen when you work out?
In fact, aren't you constantly using oxygen EVERY SECOND?
Whatever. He made us run around the gym to prove some point.
He also made a big deal about how 1 OUT OF EVERY 3 PEOPLE IS OBESE!
Well, no. If you want to get technical, 30% of the population is obese, which translates to 3 out of every 10 people, and if you wanted to reduce that fraction, it would be 1 out of every 3.3 people is obese, but it's impossible to have less than a whole person.
But that's not as HARD-HITTING.
Like I said, he's a psycho.
My English teacher is TOO COOL, and I heard from a lot of juniors and seniors that he's the best teacher in school, but he's sort of a hippie. That's okay, though. He seems to really love reading and actually knows what he's talking about.
And as much as I liked (and sometimes didn't like Mrs. Sims), Mr. Rosedale seems more fun to be around. And we'll be watching tons of movies, so that's a plus.
Dang it, I only have one class with Karen. :P
I don't have any classes with Connor??
P Willy, ha ha ha.
My math teacher is so nerdy and awesome. We're going back to the Chicago method - YESSSSS, math will finally make SENSE again. And Mr. Macaras promised to show examples on the board (:D) and explain things thorougly (XD). Cannot wait for school. And school shopping.
History is awesome, too. We'll be doing a lot of projects that involve food and creativity. It's like we're not studying history at all!
My French teacher wasn't there, but his room has paintings that he's done all over the walls, so I won't be stuck with another teacher like I had last year. XP Yeah, only worst class ever.
Aaagh, my science teacher seemed nice, but I still hate science it'll probably be one of my least favorite classes.
There's this girl in my science class that I haven't talked to since 3RD GRADE and her mom somehow knew who I was and kept talking to me, and I was like, "AARGH, I BARELY REMEMBER YOU!!"
And the girl I used to be friends with is all popular and cute now, so I'm not sure if we'll be BFFs like before.
Not that I'm prejudiced.
I just tend not to fare well with people like her.
Agh, but that's shallow.
Maybe she'll help me actually UNDERSTAND science for once.
I'm reading "Eclipse" now and it's boring and sappy as ever. Edward is SUCH a JEEEERK.
Yeah, Jacob is immature.
But Edward is controlling. Ugh. So much worse.

Radda radda radda

Mamma mia, 31 flavors!
Ever been REALLY tired and REALLY PMS-y at the same time?
Yeah, that's a good combo.
I didn't start feeling REALLY tired until science. Oh, how I hate science.
Grades are already supposed to be turned in, but he's making us do a lab and turn in our binders and do boring things.
It's pretty hot outside. It's kind of nice.
So are donuts, which Faxon brought this morning.
MR. VILLIERS CAME BACK! He's visiting for a week, and totally doesn't remember any of our names, but it was so worth it.
But once he's finished visiting, he's going to Korea.
Hello, why don't you come back HERE?
It sucks because I don't want to do driver's ed, but my parents are like, "Well, if you're not doing driver's ed, taking summer school, working, or going to youth group, what WILL you do?"
Um...nothing?
Isn't that the point of summer, since the whole school year was spent doing SOMETHING?
Why not just veg out, chill with my dog, watch summer movies, read billions of books, and socialize with people I already know rather than go out there, make new friends, and LEARN?

Do YOU have a date to Homecoming?

AAaaaaaaaargh. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH. Thanks a whole lot, Mrs. Lutz. I was having a REALLY GOOD DAY. No, all my dreams did not come true, but I was having a pretty hilarious time with all my friends and teachers, learning interesting things about Shakespeare, whores, and Al Gore.
Then you decided to ruin it for me.
Thank you SOOOOOOOOOO much.
I'm sure she meant to be nice and all. She just wanted to give us some guidelines about how not to screw up the Freshmen for your girlfriend or whatever.
But come on.
It just made the dateless feel like total crap.
Because even though she stressed how much more fun it would be if you went with a group, she definitely had fun mentioning all the things you could not do without a date.
And, okay, you could do them, but you would look like a loser.
Buying yourself a corsage? Loser.
Taking yourself out to dinner? Pitiful.
Taking a picture by yourself? Why don't you go slit your wrists, you stupid emo kid?
And the dance itself is so lame. Why is everyone making such a big deal out of it? "A Night in Paris"? Are you kidding me?
And pictures are $25!!!!! $25 for a lame picture of you in an ugly dress with a guy in a tuxedo who so obviously doesn't want to be there, and after you buy it, you'll probably never look at it again.
And while I'm trying to convince myself it's just a STUPID junior high dance, Mrs. Lutz did a pretty good job in making me feel like an insignificant dateless loser.
Who will NOT look good in her freshmen dress.
So thank you.
I'm going to go eat some dinner, ignore others, do math homework, and come back hopefully when I'm in a better mood.
But I have decided I'm DEFINITELY not going to freshmen.

Moisturizers and Vitamin E!

WSU is losing to UNC. So sad.
Today was our last basketball game, and we lost (big surprise), so we ended with 2-10. I'm going to miss basketball and everything, even though track is coming up, but I'm not sad about getting away from this team. Some of them players I'd love to play with again, but I'm tired of getting more flak than anyone else for making the same mistakes they're making.
Coach let me start today, though, so that's cool.
Argh, just want school to be OVER. I don't think I can stand 6 hours and 40 more minutes of school tomorrow. The teachers don't actually want to teach us anything, and everyone's going crazy. Who cares about microwaves and light frequency? Who cares about healthy relationships? Who cares about conjugating "faire", dissecting "Lord of the Flies", and normal distributions?
Actually, I care about normal distributions.
Mmm, Bratz fruit snacks are pretty delicious.
Okay, e-mail insists on being totally ridiculous. I haven't read a single e-mail since Tuesday because it's loading so SLOW. It can't even load 2 kilobyte e-mails.
Actually, Spring Break doesn't look fun either because I'll be stuck with my extended family all weekend at the beach. Sure, it's Ocean Shores, but that means driving and bonding and NO SLEEPING IN.
And we're staying till Sunday, so no church.
Someone shoot me.

Chocolate cake implies eating disorder.

My father is under the impression that he's driven me to anorexia.
Yesterday was Good Friday, and I got to play trombone in this orchestra, which was pretty amazing, so after both services, the entire worship team went to the Family Pancake House. Everyone ordered pancakes or some time of breakfast food except me, who went for chocolate thunder cake instead.
My dad felt REALLY guilty, because William said he was still hungry afterwards, so he assumed I must have been starving myself because I hadn't known ordering breakfast food was an option.
Don't worry, Dad, I knew breakfast food was an option, but why would I order french toast when I could order CHOCOLATE CAKE with CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CHEESECAKE and a GIANT CHOCOLATE ROSETTE ON THE SIDE. But it was fun. And I don't have an eating disorder.
OMG, I BOUGHT "THE FINAL WARNING". Haven't started it, though. I'm too scared that it will disappoint.
Sims 2: Free Time looks kind of amazingly complicated, but FUN! The Sim's area of interest affects their personality and mannerisms.
So I've been parting my hair on the right side, lately, and it looks better than parting it in the middle, where I looked like Sirius Black, but people were telling me to get bangs, so....
...I got bangs today.
And they don't look terrible. They're actually kind of nice.
EXCEPT they don't fit behind my ear and sometimes they poke me in the eye.
Cleaned the entire house. Made a rainbow chip cake. Ate a truffle egg. All set for Easter.
Thursday was so tiring. Contest was pretty cool, we got straight 2's, which is better than 3's or 4's (or 5's). Mr. Faxon got mad at us because we didn't want to sit and watch marginally acceptable junior high and middle school bands play boring music for an hour and a half. Poulsbo Middle School did superbly, but their clinic was SO BORING and the man wouldn't let us LEAVE.
I don't care if he got mad. Hungry teenagers don't want to listen to boring men talk about dynamics and tone quality.
And yeah, we could have LEARNED something, but we'd already listened to like 4 other bands. I'm sure we learned enough from those clinics.
Central Market = amazing.
OMG, WE BEAT OAKLAND BAY!!!! AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so great!!!! I can't exactly say nice things about the refs, but we played SO GOOD and beat #1'S BUTT!!! BOOOO!!! I almost punched her in the face. I hate that girl. But I didn't foul her (though everyone else did. :P)

Zebra cakes may be the most delicious thing ever invented.

Argh, soooo not happy with my band teacher right now. Two concerts in one week? I know people who would be like, "So, that's not that many, suck it up," but hello? I HATE band. I'm not some pathetic band geek who composes 50 page solos and salivates over marching bands. I have better stuff to do with my time. Nothing constructive or anything, but I HATE BAND. And I'd much rather be watching "American Idol" than listening to myself and others suck. And they're two LONG concerts, and we play the exact same stuff at both of them. Lame sauce.
I just want something new and NOT BORING to play.
And then we had a basketball game against our biggest rival, and it wasn't too bad, though we lost by almost 30, but it was fun, and I played a few minutes and got to shoot from free throws. Missed both, but hey.
Zebra cakes, string cheese, mangoes, orange juice, Cheetos, South Beach snack bar, pineapple ham sandwich.
Just for lunch.
God has a rather hilarious sense of humor...if you're a masochist. I like worshiping a God that likes to have a laugh, but not at my expense. Oh well.
Trombone playing french horn part with a Latin choir. This isn't a Catholic church!

Why DO you have my pants?

OMG this is seriously the best day of my freshman year. Seriously, it was so sweet. Also, I'm wearing my dad's sweats and they're SOOOO comfortable. I need to buy a few pairs at Walmart, because girl sweats suck.
Mr. Caley made it sound like he was going to slave in the kitchen for 10 hours and make us a feast, but he just brought us bread and cheese, so we ate a lot of bread and played Quarters with candy, and listened to Megan's Hannah Montana singing card.
Yaaaay, Mrs. Sims is my freshman date! Lol, not really. It's kind of insane that I'm thinking about freshman date, but I've been thinking about it since like...Thanksgiving?? I just woke up and was like, "I NEED A DATE!" Yeah.
"Congo", by Michael Crichton, is seriously one of the best books I've ever read. Yeah, I know, I say that a lot. Amy is my BFF. THE BUTTON WOMAN!!! There hasn't been any violence since the prologue. Darn.
Aaargh, math was super hard. I hate how Mr. Kovacs REFUSES to help me when I seriously don't know what I'm doing, but he helps Amby all the time??? He'd just finished helping her, and I was like, "Mr. Kovacs, please help," and he just walked away. Aaargh.
I never want to play in jazz band again. Soo tired of "Jumping At Woodside". I had to play my solo like 4 times, and the conga lines were so not fun. No, Drew, be glad you didn't join in.
I hate that darn reader board. I HATE it.
Heh. I got Mr. Campbell some soup and made him some cookies, but he only got 6 because I decided not to use parchment paper, which turned out to be a bad idea, so I made 7 perfect ones out of 19 or 20, and then WILLIAM ATE ONE!!! Aaargh. After I told him NOT TO. I sort of spoiled the "suprise party", but he had to have known before hand. That was sort of a weird period. I talked to Quintin about basketball, had a ribbon fight with DJ, and ate some of Nichelle's cake.
Orchestra people are worse than band geeks. "I have Connor's pants." "Ooooh, why do you have Connor's pants??" "Yeah, why do you have my pants??"
I had to wear a dress today, which turned out to be not so bad. Only some of the compliments were backdoor insults. Thanks, guys.
Nick is racist. At least, his dog is.
I love candy canes.
But not old ones.
I LOVE THESE SWEATS AND BRANDON SALLER!

Sitting atop the crap heap

Wow. I've said so many times this year that 14 sucks, and you're probably getting annoyed and want me to, I don't know, get counseling or something, but I gotta say it again: 14 sucks SERIOUS BALLS. It's partly my fault, too. I guess I'm just setting myself up for failure. Ugh, I just feel a lot of pressure from all sides and school, the one thing that helped me take my mind off things, is just as bad.
It might have started with the disastrous parent/teacher conference this morning, but yesterday wasn't fun either. I just started stressing and I blew up, made decisions, changed my mind a million times, and got really tired. Like bone weary.
Aaaaaaaagh conference so NOT successful. I think my actual problem is I just really hate people, and I hate it when people get in my business. I'm sitting at the table cryin, and my teacher and my mom are all up in my face going, "Why are you doing so bad at school, Lauren? We know you can do it. Do you need help? We're going to get help." Aaaaargh I DON'T WANT HELP. How come whenever I ask for help it's never given or it's unsatisfactory, but when I want to go it alone people are jumping on my back offering tissues and counseling sessions. It was way depressing. Somehow I really don't think talking to a counselor is going to help me. I'm just going through a permanent stage of PMS that's not going to change any time soon.
French pisses me off. Really. I'm so sick of that class and some of the people in it and the teaching, so I was started stewing and not participating and dissing Mr. Caley under my breath, and Chelsea got pretty mad and moved seats.
I can only say thank God for my friends because I was really tired and depressedish in Pre-AP but then all my friends started cracking me up and being helpful in a non-direct way so that felt better.
Does stress increase or decrease estrogen? Cuz I'm full of something and it's driving me crazy. I miss the endorphins. Cutting yourself is so not worth it, but if I can get the endorphins back I'll be happy. Aaaaaagh I'm just all failurish, but then I'm also just feeling REALLY sorry for myself and being the victim and cursing 14, and I honestly don't want to deal with anything. I'd rather just sleep and let it get worse while I stay uninvolved, detached, aloof (Pre-AP word), crap like that.
I better get used to the view from the crap heap, though, because I still have 57 days before I feel like any of this is going to get better.

Sunday, or how I missed my one oppurtunity to talk to a french guy because I didn't want to look like a moron.

Marie got me this book called "The Writer's Block". I think I said that before.
So I finally summoned the guts to try it out, and opened to a page that said, "Write about the first time you defied your parents."
o.O
How am I supposed to remember? And it was embarassing even writing about it, because of course my family's "Christian", so I'm a "good kid" and the worst thing I've ever done is steal my friend's candy.
Not like I'm going to go smoke pot just to spice up my life a little bit, but I hate it when I'm sitting around with friends and they decide to randomly ask, "What's the worst thing you've ever done?"
....
Um...get born?
But that whole tiny paragraph transformed into a huge rant about how mad I am at some people. Now that I've got THAT out of my system, there is less of a chance that the next time I see this person they will become a bloody mass on the ground.
Only I don't actually want them dead. I don't know....
So Marie, if I kill somebody, this is totally your fault.
But I still don't have any idea of how to edit my stupid writing project because there's three major parts that really SUCK right now and I don't actually want to WRITE. I like this idea and if I leave it alone too long it will fizzle and I'll be dead and sobbing over lost characters, but really? I'd rather write a shallow fanfic about dead Fred. Heh. That rhymed.
And I freaking hate it when I see old teachers that are all, "Oh, are you still writing? You were such a good writer!" Um, no. "Why not?" Because I take myself way too seriously.
Aaaaaargh.
And I have nothing to WRITE ABOUT.
I like the self-deprecating sentence I wrote in the rant, tho. But I probably shouldn't put it here in case it tarnishes all of y'alls perception of me as "the good kid".
Btw, Barnes and Nobles sucks.
And my mom blew me off and used "introvert" as an insult.
And they wonder why I have no self-esteem....

All Americans live in New York...things you didn't know from our favorite people, the French

AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! HALLELUJAH! Yeah, two different reactions, but my day was weird.
And I got my schedule wrong, so it was English 2nd and Math 3rd, but that was fine with me.
What was the point of wearing my stupid ASB shirt? I only helped one stupid kid who couldn't find the band room. Also, I don't get it; why didn't they have that "tour-the-school" thing BEFORE school started like they did in years past. My mom claims it was never like this. If so, then why do my friends and I all remember a day where we checked each other's schedules for similar classes? WHY WOULD WE DO THIS IF WE'D ALREADY GOTTEN OUR SCHEDULES AT SCHOOL?????? Grrr... I like my jeans, tho. It's as though my butt has been compacted. And my shoes are nice. They got scuffed. :(
A brief interlude.
You Scored an A

It's pretty obvious that you don't make basic grammatical errors.
If anything, you're annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs.
As far as people with bad grammar go, you know they're only human.
And it's humanity and its current condition that truly disturb you sometimes.

Yay. I guess.
FRENCH WAS AMAZING! Mr. Caley talked to us in French and we had to respond and it was challenging but then he would explain it to us and it would make sense. And then he told us stories about learning any kind of language. MY PARENTS READ TO ME AS SOON AS I GOT HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL! When he told a story about reading to his granddaughter at 3 days old, I was like, "Crap, my parents made a mistake!" But no. They didn't. Didn't you wonder how I'd gotten so smart? ;)
English was okay. The teacher didn't kill anybody, which was nice. BUt she was talking about going to a "Doggie Dinner" and I was like, "....did you eat the doggies?" And, thinking I said something else, she was like, "Well, my husband tasted one..." !!!!!! Oh. My. Gosh. MY TEACHER IS A SERIAL KILLER. And she made us write an interesting fact about myself. Uhhhh... I didn't know to put. I forgot that I'd lived in Japan for 4 years and wrote something about making my old science teacher retire. Actually, I've made TWO teachers retire. I must be a jinx. Wait, THREE. No...FOUR. Oh my gosh, I AM a jinx.
Lol. Poofy toast man.
If you honestly don't care, I'm sorry. Actually, not. I don't DAAAAAAAANCE.
Math was pretty cool. It looks pretty easy and Mr. Kovacs is nice. Only I made him sort of peeved. Heh. Peeved. Well, not peeved, because he doesn't get "peeved" easily, but he's pegged me as a troublemaker. Pretty much. This is the one class that I have with most of my friends. >:( And there are people I have NO classes with. Makes me mad. But Tyler was in this one. Wearing Davey Havok pants. This is my only class with Toni! Danny's in my study hall and I had band AND Pre-AP with Jessica. Amanda and I only have Pre-AP and math together. SO LAME.
Band is riDUCKulous. Mr. Faxon wants us to buy a buttload of expensive stuff that none of us will ever need again and was like, "Oh, you can get some of this stuff CHEAP for $30! Great deal!" Um, not with my family. WE'RE POOR. Well, not poor, but a metronome AND a tuner??? 3 bottles of slide oil, a mouthpiece brush, spray bottle, a cheesecloth, a lyre, AND flip folder??? And then with percussion, he's like, "The other guys I'm not asking for much (psh), but you guys I'm asking a chunk of cash." Stick bag. Practice pad. And mallets for every percussion instrument on the planet. Nichelle is all, "Heck no." It's pretty funny.
3rd lunch is lame. In seventh grade, I had first lunch. In eighth grade, I had second lunch. Now I have third lunch. HATE. I have to wait till like 11:10 to eat. Which is early enough, but I didn't eat much breakfast, and I usually get hungry at like 10:00. I have some friends, tho...
Office Assistant is boring. There were barely any notes to take and I had to answer phones and the system wouldn't work. And I guess I DON'T answer to Mr. Barry. Whatever.
I HATE SCIENCE. *rips a book in half and growls* THIS CLASS SUCKS SO BAD! I mean, it's bad enough that I didn't get Mr. Walker, but Mr. Campbell is back. THE EVIL SUB FROM HELL IS BACK!!!!!! I didn't even HAVE him last year (okay, I did for math), but he's a MANIAC. So Mr. Henrichsen will be gone for like a month because of his silly vertebrae, so that means it will be Mr. Campbell the whole time. This is like the Mrs. McClellan scandal from last year. So the whole class period was a bunch of stupid stuff about science and chemical spills and then he yelled at us and took to long to take attendance. And the only person keeping me sane in this class is Tim. And how perverted: the sub was all, "If you have a chemical burn, you have to take a shower. If you're able to move, that's great, but if you're not, I WILL take your clothes off." WHAT??????? Yeah, I get it, but still.
I think the best class after French was Study Hall, ironically, because I used to hate it. And it's not even life-changingly brilliant. I only have a few friends in it, and a few people (okay, one person) I can't stand (loser), but Mr. Walker is really nice and tells funny stories and is easy to understand and I would LEARN SO MUCH BETTER IF I HAD HIM FOR A TEACHER. :P He laughed at me when I said I would cut myself if I went to school with my siblings with my mom as a teacher and told an amusing story about lambs to the slaughter. Don't ask.
So yeah. I ate two cupcakes to ease the pain. So I'm going to Walmart later to play Guitar Hero, buy "Hairspray Soundtrack" and "Secret Weapon", and get 5 million binders. Seriously, Mr. Caley wants a 2-inch, Mrs. Sims wants a 3-inch, and I need a 1-inch in math and science. How evil. *sigh* Yeah.
BTW, WHAT THE FREAKING H***??????????? Okay, if there's an ASB meeting and I'm the PRESIDENT, shouldn't I be told???????????? It REALLY ticks me off that no one told me about it, OR came to get me DURING IT, and then were all, "Where the f*** were you?" Um...where???? HATE HATE HATE. So yeah. My day mostly sucked.

Sometimes, you just gotta let it go...

OMGEEEZ! "Love Undercover" is totally my favorite book of all time now.
So a girl named Kaitlyn has a dad in the FBI and he brings home a kid named Blaine under the Witness Protection Program. And Blaine is just SO HOT (apparently looks just like Orlando Bloom), and everyone loves him. OH NO, Kaitlyn and Blaine fight! But it's okay, because she saves him from a hitman and he wants to work out a long distance relationship. Oh, and she writes him the best letter:
Dear Blaine,
I hope you don't mind me writing you like this. You left so abruptly and there are a lot of things I want to say. It's strange not being able to walk down the hall when I want to talk to you. But I'm happy that everything worked out and you got to go back home safely.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss you. I'd also be lying if I said I didn't like you. You know, in THAT way. I feel embarrassed writing this down on paper, but it's the truth. I like you. I've liked you from the moment I met you. Even as I was trying to karate chop you to oblivion, I was secretly thinking, "Wow, this guy is amazing." And the more I got to know you, the more amazing you became. You're so smart, caring, funny, and of course, cute. Okay, cute is probably not a strong enough word to describe you. But I think I'll stop there, because I'm already blushing about fifty shades of red.
I wish things could've worked out differently between us. Call it a colossal case of bad timing. Or call it a twist of fate. I know I should accept that and move on, but, still, I keep wondering "What if?" That one kiss we shared was...unbelievable. I wish there could have been more.
To be totally honest, I've never felt this way about anyone before. And it will probably be a long time before I feel this way again. I realize this doesn't mean a lot right now. But I wanted you to know.
Yours,
Kaitlyn

Hehehe. Go buy it.
AAAAAAAAAAAH, I HATE THE SPURS! I HATE TONY PARKER! NOOOOOOO! I mean, it was kind of inevitable that they would win, because of the three game lead, but I WANTED LEBRON!
Everyone in the crowd is booing really loudly. BOOOOO! BOOO!
Chant with me now: TONY PARKER SUCKS! TONY PARKER SUCKS! TONY PARKER SUCKS!
I just really hate them.
So Marie is here, I made a cheesecake, bought TWO new CDs (Cartel and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, only I've only listened to Cartel, and they're okay, but "A" is the longest song ever.) And then we went to Albertson's. THere's a new J-14. I must buy it, but I have no money. :( I started reading it. Yeah, Zanessa went scuba diving. Long live Zanessa!
I hate John Stamos, too.
AAAAAGH, the math final was SO EASY! I'm almost done, and I got all worked up for nothing. I hate math. I've gone from hating it to loving it to hating it again. And it's all my math teacher's fault.
Your Inner Pop Princess Is Kelly Clarkson

"Grew up in a small town
And when the rain would fall down
I'd just stare out my window
Dreaming of what could be"

No doubt about it, you have star quality. Might just take a while to get there.

Only she's not blonde now... Kelly isn't much of a pop princess. Shoot me if I'm wrong.
TONY PARKER MUST DIE!
Oooh, a whole slew of new quizzes...
Is my family disfunctional?
Hm...results pending...
Your Family Is 50% Dysfunctional

Your family definitely has some problems, but probably nothing that can't be overcome.
You don't have the greatest past with your family, and bad feelings may arise when everyone's together.
It may take some individual or group therapy to work everything out. And that means your family has to admit there's a problem.
If your family isn't ready to change, you may need to give them some distance for a while.

Eh? Whatever...
Wow, a quiz to see if I'm a high maintenance pain in the neck woman.
"Mates, Dates, and Inflatable Bras" is a weird book.
Just a heads up.
None of these answers are what I would do. A guy offers to buy you a drink. "Sorry, I'm under 21, but a Dew would be nice..."
You Are Low Maintenance

Otherwise known as "too good to be true"
You're one laid back chica - and men love that!
Just remember that no good guy likes a doormat.
So if you find your self going along to get along...
Stop yourself and put up a little bit of a fight.

Hm. Good for future reference.
Not.
Seeing as I've never had a boyfriend, how is this going to help?
Wait. That made no sense.
14 sucks. I'm totally obsessing this year. Or not so much obsessing as asking weird questions, like I've mentioned before. 14 still sucks. But still, I asked a question and it led to a discussion in which I'm allowed to date before I'm 16 if it's right for me and it's what God wants.
:O
HOW COME I WASN'T AWARE OF THIS?
Ooooh, and the best part: My mom, someone TOTALLY against relationships where the age difference is over 1 year, was cool with me dating someone older. AT 14, SHE'D BE COOL WITH A 17 YEAR OLD! Wha? How am I NOT picking up on this? And she was like, "No, I'm not against relationships like that." Not true. Whenever we watch TV and a 16-year-old is going out with an 18-year-old, she gets mad.
Sooooooo if as a freshman I picked up a senior, and I prayed about it, that would be cool?
Not like I could "pick up" anyone, much less a senior, but this scenario just doesn't work for me, especially with MY father.
I DISAGREE WITH THIS!
You Can Hang With the Guys and the Girls

You've struck a good balance between girlie and laid back.
You can keep it casual but when you dress up, you are as girly as the next girl.

I'm disgustingly masculine, but not exactly ashamed of it. Girls suck. Probably the reason I'm not a lesbian: I hate girls/being a girl.
Hm, what's my pick up line? Questions, questions.
Wow, there is no doubt I will never use this.
Your Pick Up Line Is

Do you have a mirror in your pocket? Because I can see myself in your jeans.

Hm, subtle. I also got, "You've been a BAD boy! Now go to MY room!"
The fun of 14 continues...

Kids are snowing throwballs instead of snowing heads

I was singing "What's This?" yesterday and I totally messed up the lyrics, making my mom laugh really hard. It was like, "..."
I finished my "Memoirs of an obsessive Fall Out Boy Fan" powerpoint. Britton surprised me by displaying surprising knowledge about Andrew Hurley. Then he went on this big, "Vegans are such hypocrites," rant (so I'm not the only one that feels that way), and we figured out their diet: leaves, water, fruit, vegetables, and protein bars. OH NO, PROTEIN BARS HAVE MILK! He said that, not me. So yeah.
Lalalala. Uh...track today. We had the 60 m time trials. 11.95. I am still slow. But I spent like an hour working on shotput, which was fun. I actually like shotput. It's way coooool.
Speaking of way cool, HARVEST MOON!
Aaaaah I remember the days...
ANYWAYS, I'm only on like day 5 or 6 (I'm pretty sure 5) of Spring, year 1 chapter 1, but things are looking good. I have 57 watermelon and potato plants and haven't yet learned to cook anything other than burnt fish and mugwort, but it's all good. I'm going to buy a few sheep and some hens before I buy another cow (sniff). I want a star cow. They're so CUUUUUTE. And I'm going to marry Nami, but I'm going to delay my wooing tactics till fall when all the trick blues are blooming. And if that doesn't work, I'll just wait for someone to propose to me. I maybe want the girl version (another wonderful life), but not now, I have to beat this one in under a year. Hopefully I won't get bored like last time and give up. :( William stopped a long time ago, and he was ALMOST married, so he's going to finish that year, get married, and then...start over. Because he has too many chickens. Whatever.
I FINALLY got the book back that had been TAKEN from me. :P It's been overdue TWICE. BUt I read the ending and it was boring and dumb and perverted.
yeaaaaaaaaah. Lalalala dodedo.
I hate the song "wonderwall". But noooooo, according to blogthings, that's my LOVE SONG. It used to be that one stupid Lighthouse song.
AND I DON'T KNOW WHYYYYYY ICAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFFA YOUUUUUU.
*gag*

All cougars should be shot

Played our biggest rival today.
And lost our biggest loss ever.
DANG IT.
I really HATE that school. The refs sucked and the cheerleaders annoyed the expletive out of me. Not even kidding. If I were in a REALLY BAD MOOD, they would be the first to go. And our team just was kind of out of it, like we didn't really want to win. It was pretty humiliating losing to them.
But I totally threw an elbow at this one girl who almost broke my nose. Oooops. Suck it up, it's called DEFENSE, nose-breaker.
I'm no longer failing science. I'm only getting a C, but we're good. And my math teacher is freaking out because I'm getting a C. NOT MY FAULT. Maybe it's because you wouldn't let me turn in my freaking work. And she thinks I'm getting a bad grade because I READ a lot in class. NOT TRUE. I'm getting a GOOD GRADE, I get what's going on, and she acts like it's horrible and that I've done it so many times. Like ONCE. I hate her, because she's an inflexible LIAR.
Grrrr.
A lot of the guys I find attractive are similar looking?
I see a trend...
I mean, Teddy Geiger? AND Garrett Hedlund. They don't look THAT much alike, but there's the dark hair/blue eyes combo going on.
And they're both dead sexy...
My keyboard is rattling and it's really annoying.
Oy. It's stopped.

Phish Food

I BOUGHT BEN AND JERRY'S I BOUGHT BEN AND JERRY'S I BOUGHT BEN AND JERRY'S I BOUGHT BEN AND JERRY'S!
What flavor?
PHISH FOOD! Chocolate ice cream with gooey marshmallow, carmel swirl, and fudge fish.
Their description, not mine.
MWAHAHA.
But I was in the car with my dad, after grocery shopping for two hours, and it was all melting, and fudge isn't the best thing to eat when you're driving in a car. Actually, I can't eat ANYTHING when I'm driving or on a boat or train or something. That's the only time I get car/seasick.
Dangit, I'm getting low grades in math and science. Some moron got my notebook wet, so ALL the stupid assignments got ruined, and I don't know if he graded them or not. I'm thinking not. And math because the stupid teacher is TOTALLY inflexible. She won't let you turn anything in late, even if you were absent, she makes you go to stupid math help and turn it in, then sit there for like 5 hours. hello. I have a life/basketball practice, besides, wouldn't it be EASIER for me just to GIVE it to you then to make me go to your stupid after school class when i don't need HELP? Actually, sometimes I do, but not if I FINISHED the assignment. Even if I did need help, you wouldn't GIVE it to me, that's why I don't ask any questions in math.
I hate her.
I really want a new CD.
Was playing Evanescence on my trombone. "Hello" is a hard song to play. Couldn't play anything good like "Dance, Dance" or "Girl of the Year" because they're not on my cpu and I didn't want to recharge my ipod because whenever I put my ipod on random, I get all anal and have to finish EVERY SONG before I recharge it. Which is hard, because there are 281 songs on it, and I don't even have all my music on there.
I owe $6 at the library. -_-
GASP maybe the library has more PHANTOM STALLION!!!! Haven't read one of those in the library. I'm restarting "Jedi Apprentice". I'm such a nerd. LAME, I asked them to order Winnie the Horse Gentler because I was like, "Wth, I need a new series," and I've only ever read the 1st one???? But they only ordered the first 3, skipped 4 and 5, and then ordered 6 and 7. WHY CAN'T YOU ORDER THE WHOLE SERIES LIKE A NORMAL FREAK?
I need to reread...
LOTR.
Harry Potter.
Jedi Apprentice.
And all the Star Wars movie novels. Even though I've only read one. Two. No, three.
But not that stupid one "Revenge of the Sith" by that idiot who kept being all, "This is how it feels to be Anakin Skywalker. Lalalala I'm ugly, I feel like cutting myself, NO PADME! And the world turned black..." It wasn't even funny dumb, just REALLY sucky writing.
I remember reading it last summer, and Marcia was all, "THAT GIRL IS A WRITER!" and I felt bad since I haven't written anything, not even a short story, in like 3 years???? I suck.
My family is in the Dark Ages technology wise.
Yes, we have a new cpu. And a TV. And cellphones.
But cable would be nice.
DOWN WITH DIAL UP!
BURN DOWN THE BARBER SHOPS!
NO MORE MEATSHAKE!
