Yotsuba Koiwai! Koiwai Yotsuba!

What Your Feet Say About You:

You are more expressive than most people. You let everyone know how you're feeling - the good, the bad, and the ugly.

You are a very passionate person. You are highly charged and easily inspired.

You are an assertive person at times. You'll pull out all the stops to get what you want, if it's worth it.

You take a while to fall in love, but once you do, you stay pretty attached to your partner.

You are not afraid of anything. You are brave and courageous, even when most people would be terrified.

You are very practical and down to earth. You're more concerned with action than thoughts.

You are very spoiled. You don't work unless you have to, and you love to be waited on.

You are easily influenced by other people. You're quite impressionable, so you should only be around people who are a good influence.

My mom dragged me off to an eye appointment, and it was actually pretty enjoyable. The staff was really nice and seemed to actually know what they were doing. So I'm getting new glasses in a week!!! They don't have any rims on the bottom. Mwahaha.
So it took 2 hours, but I finally downloaded 5 pretty amazing songs: "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne, "No More Sorrow" by Linkin Park", "Accidentally In Love" by Counting Crows, and "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More 'Touch Me'" and "The Carpal Tunnel of Love" by Fall Out Boy.
Ow, my foot hurts. And we have a track meet tomorrow. Argh, the coaches are going all pyscho, like we might somehow miss all of our events at the same time, so they kept us an EXTRA HALF HOUR. We never get out at 4:30 like we're supposed to. XP
We take sour sips from life's lush lips, we shake, shake, shake the hips in relationships.
Catchy.

Oh...my...goodness...there's a bed on the altar.

Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. My pastor just preached to me about orgasms.
My PASTOR just preached to me about ORGASMS.
Okay, so the sermon wasn't totally about that subject, but it was about SEX and the MARRIAGE BED.
I thought Pastor Barry handled it pretty well, and I knew other pastors (that I don't feel like mentioning) would turn "sex" into a sermon about how wrong it is to feel attracted to someone, or how sex is bad, or whatnot.
And I agree that sex isn't dirty as long as it's with your spouse and them only (I honestly don't care if you disagree, that's how we Christians roll).
But to talk at length about a passage in Song of Solomon that, up until today, I didn't know was about sex. Pretty dang GRAPHIC sex.
Pastor: In the marriage bed, the man wants to feel like he can please his wife.
Lauren: TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!!
Yeah. And the worse part, I was there WITH MY DAD, because William was sick, so my mom stayed home. I don't know who was more embarassed, me or him.
And I was so planning to go to Sunday School today, too! I was like, "You know what, it's been too long, I should go," and my dad was sort of making me go anyway, and there are some pretty amazing guys that go to Sunday School, no lies, but after that message, I didn't want to walk in and be like, "Hi, my name is Lauren. Did you enjoy that graphic message about love and intimacy?"
Wow.
Enough about that.
I was listening to "Evening Out With Your Girlfriend" last night, because I've been listening to a lot of FOB lately, and "Pretty in Punk" really made me cry.
It's about this guy that is performing with his band or something, and he sees this girl he really likes, but she thinks he's all egotistical when he's really just shy. He also thinks her boyfriend is a jerk, but it's none of his business so he just walks off!!
It somehow reminded me of Simple Plan's "Vacation". I STILL hate that song. What guy would be that mean? Actually, I know guys who were that mean.

Actually, if you want to be SUPER accurate, "Drama Queen" is the only song I should have on there

Which is true...
So I'm done with my 2007 playlist. And the worst thing is when I was reviewing my year trying to think up appropriate songs to symbolize the major events that happened this year, I realized this isn't the worst year I've had. In fact, it wasn't that bad. I'm just a major drama queen. I guess that could be both a good and bad thing.
Spending much time in prayer, lol.
I love my bass.
So here you have it.
I'll be happy to explain my reasoning for most of the songs if you're curious, but there are some that I'm way too embarassed to explain.

1. "Pumpin' Up the Party", Hannah Montana
2. "If We Were A Movie", Hannah Montana
3. "Broken Heart", Falling Up
4. "Get'cha Head In the Game", B5
5. "Replace Me", Family Force 5
6. "I Feel So Good", KJ-52
7. "My Last Breath", Evanescence (because no other song fit really...I guess)
8. "I Miss You", Blink-182
9. "Holier Than Thou", Metallica
10. "Drama Queen", Family Force 5
11. "The God That Failed", Metallica
12. "Always Waiting", Stellar Kart
13. "Surrender", BarlowGirl
14. "You Can't Stop the Beat", Hairspray Cast
15. "What Time Is It", High School Musical Cast
16. "Punk Rawk Show", MXPX
17. "Harder Than the First Time", BarlowGirl
18. "Start of Something New", Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens
19. "Homesick At Spacecamp", Fall Out Boy
20. "We're All In This Together", High School Musical Cast
21. "Mama, I'm A Big Girl Now", Nikki Blonksy, Marissa Janet Winokur, and Rikki Lake
22. "Dance With Me", Debelah Morgan
23. "What's My Age Again?", Blink-182
24. "Thankful", Caedmon's Call (wow, this one actually has a double meaning. Cool.)
25. "Scars Remain", Disciple
26. "What's This?", Fall Out Boy

Cream cheese AND pudding? Does it get any better than that?

Um, okay, that's straight up voyeurism.
But this has obviously happened to her before.
And everybody's OKAY with that?
Hahaha, Joe's all preppy. And Pete's a normal kid. Aww, little boy Pete. Andy hasn't died his hair a weird color yet. And Patrick is just Patrick.
WHY DO THEY END UP MAKING OUT IN HIS CAR?? And how did she get there so fast??? Is she some forest goddess? Or did he THINK he parked the long way, but ended up parking in her backyard or something.
I know the moral to this story: "Voyeurism is okay, as long as it's true love!!!"
Um, no comment. And the kid runs like a girl.
I just made a COCONUT PIE!!!!!!
COCONUT!!!
Tastes good. With pudding AND cream cheese. It's yellow, BUT TASTY.
Mmm.
Aw, her gets her on CAMERA!
I guess I really don't understand the phrase "are you busting my chops?" Yeah, uh, Robert? HOW AM I BUSTING YOUR CHOPS AGAIN? I JUST ASKED ABOUT PLAIN WHITE T'S!!!
And, okay, I forgot to add "there" in the title of "Hey There, Delilah". My bad.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND.
I wonder if it's a sheltered thing? Hahaha, so not sheltered. About as sheltered as Jessica Simpson. Or a nerd thing?
Wow, this is my last post for a while, until I die of heat stroke/of boredom/laughing.
Got a crazy funny book at the library. A girl moves from Minnesota to New York to become an up and coming FASHION DESIGNER! and she doesn't know about prostitutes???
Maybe SHE'S the sheltered one.
Naive. Innocent. Take yo pick.
"So, how long do you want the room?" "Huh?" "Like, for a night, or for a few hours?" "What??? Why a few hours?" "Are you one of them working girls? *notices she looks too preppy or UP AND COMING to be a hooker* Nah, you're not." "What's a working girl?"
Oh. My. Gosh. ARE YOU A HOOKER OR NOT????????
But yeah.
Heh heh. I wanna set someone's lawn on fire so that it spells "Homecoming?" a la "Dance, Dance". JOE IS GROSS! Patrick is adorable.
Pete: *stabs*
Girl: OW!
Pete: I'm sorry...*sob*
Girl: It's okay. You look so handsome!
Pete: *adorable smile*
That video made me unhate Pete Wentz. Not become rabidly obsessed, but unhate.

GAH, HE LOOKS LIKE A HAMSTER!

OMG, WHY WON'T PLUGGEDINONLINE SHUT UP ABOUT STUPID MAGIC AND "THE FORCE"! IT'S JUST A MOVIE, AND UNLESS IT'S AFFECTING MORALITY, IT DOESN'T MATTER!
And I wish they would stop showing pictures and plastering posters everywhere of Daniel Radcliffe with his tongue in Katie Leung's mouth. It's driving me insane. I don't want to look at Daniel Radcliffe's tongue, inside or outside his mouth. Or in a different mouth. Gross.
SHUT UP, LINDY KEFFER, SHUT UP!
The new J-14 came out. Weeee. I just finished it. Why were there like 20 articles on the Jonas Brothers, mainly KEVIN?
Which sucks, because I used to think Kevin was cute, but they totally inflated his ego and made him all dumb, and he's wearing these really awful pants.
And they keep saying, "Oh, Nick is SOOOOO cute, we all LURVE him," but they always exclude him from every interview.
It seems they've let up on their Joe Jonas lovefest. Hahahahaha.
Thank goodness Nick isn't dating Miley Cyrus. That is actually something I would love to prevent. Not because I'm madly in love with Nick Jonas. But because dating Miley Cyrus is a bad move for anyone.
But hey, that's just me.
They also had a lot of Jason Dolley in there. Not that I'm complaining.
How come they never mention Kyle Massey? I mean, he's the main character in "Cory in the House", yeah, he's in the flipping title, but he never gets a mention and all his costars (even his fake dad) DO! I guess chubby black guys don't get a mention, but skinny blonde guys with a nice smile and excellent hair get loads. Of mentions, that is.
Sure, Kyle Massey isn't like a heartthrob (yet Zac Efron is? Wth?), but he's not UGLY, he's just normal looking, and he's really funny. He should get at least enough publicity as Nick Jonas, who slightly resembles a hamster sometimes (though he does look rather nice the majority of the time).
I'M AN ESFJ!!!! I started reading this book "Do What You Are" and it categorizes your personality and tells you what jobs would be appropriate. So I am an Extroverted (with introverted tendencies??) Sensing (Concrete) Feeling (more swayed by people's emotions and personal morals than analytical answers) Judger (self explanatory, although it did imply I was neat and orderly???).
So this means I should do well in the.....drug dealing field? More to come.
AAAAH, got an adorable Fall Out Boy poster. "Adorable" meaning Patrick didn't have scary blue eyes and Pete wasn't all crawling all over the place. It was way better than the one I got last month. It shows all the FOB in tuxes and stuff and Joe has his arm around Patrick and Pete and Pete looks normal for once and Andy is actually in the picture and Joe's smiling nicelike and Patrick is looking awkward, making for a nice poster. PUTTING THIS ONE UP!

Even if saving you sends me to heaven

I love this song. :)
I now only kill fuzzies when I listen to "Your Guardian Angel" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you SENDS ME TO HEAVEN!!!
Had a Harry Potter marathon today. I finished the first one, which took me an uncharacteristic three days to finish, got through the second one (forgot how good the first two are), and am currently in the third one, which used to be my favorite, until I reread the 4th one last year (wow).
I lurve Harry Potter.
Now that I think about it, "Your Guardian Angel" reminds me of Fang. Or just "Maximum Ride" in general.
I made these cookie bar things from the recipe off the back of a bag of Chocolatier chips. Only we didn't have any white flour, so I had to use whole-wheat, which is a weird color, and it doesn't make a very good crust, just this weird flat piece of crappy bread. And then you're supposed to pour melted chocolate chips + condensed milk on it, which is GROSS (condensed milk). And then you put the rest of the crappy crust mixed with chocolate chips on top. I didn't have enough for the top, so most of it is just chocolate. But it tasted okay.
More random topics. Um, today at church Susan asked if I was Irish (brought on because my red streak is gone and I have no brown roots, and she thinks my coloring is interesting). Unfortunately, I'm not cool enough to be Irish, I am PURELY Scandinavian. Well, Scandinavian, probably English or some other Northern European, and a little bit Cherokee Indian. Not like you could tell ANY of this by looking at me.
Go dance, fool. Dat's right, sucka.
I have a great desire to go to a school dance (an all-district would be nice) and dancing the night away with my friends, particularly to songs from Fall Out Boy's "From Under the Cork Tree", such as "Our Lawyers Made Us Change the Name of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued", "Of All the Gin Joints In the World", "Dance, Dance" (duh), and basically the whole album. Especially "Sophomore Slump...". Best song on the whole CD.
I forgot it was SUNDAY. Urp. My bad.

He stands alone because he's high on himself

Random FOB tidbit: Yesterday was Andy Hurley's birthday! He's 27. And Patrick Stump was like 17 when he created Fall Out Boy with Pete and Joe. And I'm listening to "Evening Out Your Girlfriend" and his voice is GOOD. I'm so glad he's not drummer anymore, although I've never heard him drum. But on "Honorable Mention", he's doing some really cool vocal things and it's like, "Wooooow..."
Yeah.
Enough about him.
I haven't played Harvest Moon since Sunday.
15 MORE DAYS LEFT OF SCHOOL!
Amanda and I have to finish our Civil War newspaper. And I have a science experiment to do AND a weather analysis thing. I did this exact same project in sixth grade.
Ew. I remember sixth grade.
That is what I think of when I think of hell.
Actually, that was a lie.
When I think of hell, I think of the stereotypical fire and brimstone, with Satan (blonde angel in a black robe; formed from a picture in a Bible book when I was 4 or 5) laughing and...that's it.
Anyway, though.
We had Showcase today. Where all the teachers decide to show everybody how much their kids have grown and what they've learned this year. Awwww, how sweet. I wish Mrs. Moon had let us do those Mini book summaries in seventh grade. I AM SO PSYCHED FOR NEXT YEAR! I'm going to have Mrs. Sims and I heard she was really tough, but she knows a lot about writing and we're going to dig deeper into Romeo and Juliet and To Kill A Mockingbird. And make a mask. :( I'm not exactly artistic... I liked the Spiderman masks. They were cool.
I AM SO NOT PSYCHED FOR THIS SUMMER!
Hm, July 10 - August 10 = Summer School. July 28???-2??? or something = Creation. August 9 - 12 = Cispus leadership camp. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH. So I don't have very much summer.
BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT!
I hope.
Did Patrick Stump just tell someone to go to hell? SHAME!
WHERE CAN I GO WHEN I WANT YOU AROUND, BUT I CAN'T STAND TO BE AROUND YOU?
My mom and I are going to party tonight. Maybe with Arby's 5 for $5 deal and chick flicks. YESH!
I've been making my mom really uncomfortable lately. I mean, she's a nurse, and I've been asking random questions about the body, not because I'm all paranoid that I'll die of excessive thyroid secretion or something, but because I'm seriously curious. I hope this doesn't mean I'll be a doctor when I grow up. I hate bad smells and squishy sounds. But my body was being all weird and I just wanted to know why and she would explain it all exasperatedly and I'd be like, "Oooooooh. So how about them thyroids?" Mostly just questions they ask on "House M.D.". Cool show, when people's balls aren't exploding. That was the one time I did puke. And I have to close my eyes during the surgery parts. But other than that I like it.

FOB Part 1: PATRICK STUMP!

I feel like making eLAOUAI DOLLS FOR MANY DIFFERENT CELEBRITIES! Sorry if Patrick has creepy eyes.
Fine, so this doesn't really look like Patrick Stump.

Hey, wanna see the grayish yellow coating on my throat? *sticks out tongue*

If horoscopes are really so accurate, why are they always different from paper to paper, magazine to magazine, website to website? Hehehe. I mean, read this.
02/17/2007 Your social needs are stronger than ever, and you should make a few solid connections with folks you may not know all that well just yet. You may not make millions of friends, but the ones you have are quality.
Yeaaaaaah, sure, like WHO? Oooh, and the star sign thing is even FUNNIER.
Symbol: the Sea Goat
Ruling Planet: Saturn
Ruling House: Tenth House
Element: Earth
Quality: Cardinal
Body Parts: skin, teeth, bones, knees
Keyword: SOCIAL STATUS
Date with destiny: Taurus, Virgo
Run for the hills: Aries, Libra
Where you glow: in charge
What makes you tick: hard work
Fitness forecast: golfing
Play date: dining at an exclusive restaurant
Perfect jobs: news anchor, anthropologist
Best accessory: personal digital assitant
A sure thing: managing a stock portfolio
Destination: Japan
Pleasure: patience, respect, success
Pain: disorganization, miscalculation, boredom
Kindness: Armed with dogged determination, you refuse to give up the fight for justice until everyone has been comforted and served.
What's my line? The one with the most toys wins.
Destination JAPAN? I've already BEEN to Japan, and I HATED IT. And my perfect accessory is NOT a digital assistant. It happens to be an IPOD. Or a CELL PHONE, but I don't HAVE ONE.
Forget this.
I have to pee REALLY BAD. I didn't eat dinner last night, but I'm only a little hungry and I still feel like a diptheria victim, only my throat doesn't hurt as bad, and I think my fever went down. Must take temperature.
I love this Ipod. Lots of Fall Out Boy...and FM Static. If I ever go see them in concert, I'm going to shoot Trever in the head with a Bebe gun. Serves him right.
If I ever make a band, and play drums for it or something, or manage to learn guitar (actually, that will never happen. I hate guitar.), I have a good name for it.
But you'll never get to know it unless I make it big, as to keep it safe and copyrighted.
Relient K's new CD isn't that great. True, I've only listened to like three of their songs, but it's really bothering me how mediocre it is. Funny, but like 80's dance pop? Hahaha, i almost typed dance poop.
Barbie.com. That sounds glitterfabulous. Lol.
