Where did THOSE puppies come from?

FRIDAY!!!
I love Fridays.
The day started off sort of depressingly, but it got better, so I can't complain.
"Romeo and Juliet" is so cool!!! I like how they can't keep their hands off each other. Hormones, anyone? But Juliet was totally flat-chested in one scene, then in the balcony scene, she was wearing a Victoria's Secret-esque nightgown WITH MAJOR CLEAVAGE! We were all like, "Whoa, where did THOSE come from?"
Mercutio is the BOMB! He attacks the Nurse, takes a dip in the fountain, and walks around with a cloth over his face going, "Bla bla bla bla bla bla."
It's pretty hilarious.
Only 15 minutes of science class! I missed the rest!
Band is too cool. Mr. Faxon turned on "We Like to Party (The Vengabus)" and we had this major dance party.
Well, all the nerdy white kids did, anyway.
And some of the nerdy half-white kids.
The pep assembly was too cool. We got to do our marching routines - including the dance party!!! Mr. Faxon made me do it without shoes (???) but that's okay, I guess. Except my feet sweat. And everyone totally loved it.
I love the Banana song!!!!

Your Body's Element is Air

You are competitive, assertive, and dominant.

You live to win, and it really makes you angry if you lose.

You are brilliant and competent. No matter what you're doing, you now your stuff.

People tend to be intimidated by your intelligence. It's hard to measure up to you.

Your energy tends to be: ebbing and flowing

Your power color is: white

Psh. Screw white.
Wait, that's freshmen color.
Freshmen won today - AGAIN!!! I can't believe we won all our pep assemblies!! The sevvies and 8th graders almost booed Mr. Barry off the floor. It's not his fault.
The game was pretty retarded, though. Oh well. We won.
It's sort of ridiculous to be required to go to practice every day when all of your track meets are over.
I'm not going to Districts and I'm not in 7th or 8th grade. WHY BOTHER??
And it was like 80 degrees today!!! Too hot to run.
But not too hot to tan.
Coach's kids are so cute!!!

What Your Taste in Music Says About You

Your musical tastes are intense and rebellious.

You are intelligent... but in a very unconventional way.

You are curious about the world. You love doing something new.

In fact, you enjoy taking risks and doing things most people would shy away from.

You are very physical. It's likely that you're athletic, but not into team sports.

You have the soul of an artist. Beauty and harmony are important to you.

Time for dinner. That sounds like a chicken....
I swear, someone is "bokking" upstairs!!!

Your Independence Level: High

You are extremely self reliant and autonomous.

You are definitely into doing your own thing.

But you also wouldn't turn down help if you needed it.

You follow your own path, but you don't do so blindly.

Gross? Yes. Refreshing? You have no idea.

Aww, I missed my chance to post on Leap Day!!! I was sort of busy with basketball, dancing, and spaghetti.
I kind of love pep assemblies, and I actually got to play with the pep band this time (which is so much better than helping the ASB do whatever they're doing), but afterwards I always feel really, REALLY tired. Like screaming at the top of my lungs and playing "Another One Bites the Dust" is so exhausting.
But the freshmen won (AGAIN), basketball was pretty cool (losing team had to sing to the wrestlers), and the dance was funner than usual.
Who knew dancing was that intense? And sweaty? And fun?
Not like I can dance. And I'll never get "Souljah Boy" down.
Oh well. I love my school.
I'm good to go, and I'm going nowhere fast, it could be worse, I could be taking you there with me.
I'm good to go...and it looks like I'm still on my own.
Heheh, just reread "Princess Mia". I love JP. Kitchen scene = amazing.
"Omg. JP is in love with me. And we blew up the school."
Yay, it's March 1st!!! I love March. Pretty much the best month!
Hey, today was solo ensemble. I attempted to dress nice and ended up looking like a ninja. We'd been pretty worried because Kevin said he wouldn't come, but he came and CONNOR DIDN'T. Argh, not happy with him. Not like we needed him, because he's not a brass instrument and was just doubling on my part, but way to not tell us. Well, he told Micah and Robert YESTERDAY, THE DAY BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE, but not me or Kevin. WE DIDN'T SUCK! It was amazing. Micah got a little off, but he managed to get back on track.
Rodeo cheeseburgers, Burger King milkshakes, Snickers and soda, and lame picture retakes, orange grease that flies off those good chicken wings,
THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS!!!
At this rate, I'll grow another inch and cup size.
Like Princess Mia.
OMG, SIMS UNIVERSITY...I HAS IT.

My puppy...let me show you it.

OMG!!! MY DAD SAID WE CAN GET A PUPPY!!!!!
Sure, it won't be till this summer, which most likely means July or early August, BUT STILL!
My mom and I are hoping for either a Pug, or a Chihuahua. Lol. Like Paris Hilton.
There's just something about Chihuahuas in purses.
Argh, I sort of bent my glasses today in basketball; someone hit me in the side of the head with the ball. -_- But I got them fixed at Costco. I guess today was crappy samples day, because who wants melon preserves and lentil soup?
GAME DAY TOMORROW!!!
You should come!!!
Only it's an away game. Scratch that, don't come.
I am not responsible for this next Spirit Week, so DON'T BLAME ME!!
Agh, a new assignment in Health. We have to draw pictures representing the following:
1. The most significant day/event of your life
2. Your greatest achievement in the past year
3. The happiest day/event of your life
4. Something you are good at
5. Something you hope to get better at
6. 3 words you want to be remembered by.
The only one I'm having trouble with is #3. All the things I can think of are superficial and not that important. I was considering "switching churches", but I don't know what I would draw for that.
Yay, we got to color the periodic table in science!!! How pretty.

I'm thinking a black bra under a white shirt isn't such a good idea.

That should be a film. "Black Bra Under a White Shirt: Based on a true story".
Aaaaagh, concert last night = not so swell. It made me miss the better days. And Mr. Villiers. I got home last night and was really bummed because I only had him for a year and he was such a good teacher but then he abandoned us to go to China. Which probably makes me selfish, but I was way sad. Not like Mr. Faxon isn't cool and everything. But a lot of the old band people who were REALLY GOOD quit because he left, so numbers are down, and so is talent.
Whoa, old school Evanescence is making me sad, too. So good. Especially "Bring Me To Life" and I have no clue why. I think it had something to do with falling off a building.
But on a happier note....
BAM! FRESHMAN WON "MAKE A CHANGE" AND THE PEP ASSEMBLY! Pwned. I had to be MC, though, which was fun, but the band sounded hot, and I was like, "Curses, I should be playing that trombone part, not Mr. Faxon!" 7th graders won the snowman contest, though.
Aaah, Mr. Campbell is so awful!
"Mr. Campbell, I'm skipping your class today."
"That's good, because I hate it when you're here."
":O"
"I'M JUST KIDDING!"
Man, he's going to be gone after winter break. :P All the people who hated him at the beginning of the year are now begging him to stay and are talking about offing the real teacher.
BAND!!! Love it, pretty much. I want my bass. It's in the garage but I'm too "busy" to look for it", lol.
WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE MATT UNDERWOOD??

Time of our lives

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH I LOVE PEP ASSEMBLIES!
Perks of being a freshman:
Get to eat in courtyard.
Get to wear crowns on Spirit Days.
Win EVERY ASSEMBLY.
We pwned. And people actually sang the Banana Song. We added the mullet verse. It was pretty sweet.
I can't sing Sharpay's harmony.
I want to be emcee next time. And we should do the dancing game, the one that Mr. Barry rejected.
I sort of lost my voice. And I can't sing.
But I'm eatin some carrots.
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 IS SO COOL!!
It said so in A&E this morning.
I'd rather face a seven footer straight up in the post.
Never mind.
I love being prez. Sort of.
French is cool. Only he made us memorize all the tenses like a million times.
Mr. Kovacs is cool. I actually understand SOHCAHTOA better now. TRIG! O! NOMETRY!
School is so great. Gotta love it.
Yeah. My life is just a big ball of awesome. Can't even describe it.
Aaagh, I need to finish my book journal.
I mean, YEAH! I NEED TO FINISH MY BOOK JOURNAL! BAM!

Ciao, Thomas! A tuet a l'heure!!!

I LOVE FRENCH SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! Only I's pretty bad at cognates so whenever I guess I'm almost always wrong. I mean, lecon is obviously lesson, but I didn't know that.
So yesterday's second day was pretty good. We had to do an assembly for the ninth graders, tho, which REALLY SUCKED. It was pretty intimidating. All my peers staring back at me. Some glaring. Sorry. Not really. I'd be very surprised if any of them understood me, I was reading so fast.
But today we had a seventh grade assembly. It was GREAT. Well, greatish. The Banana song went well, but we didn't get to sing the verse about mullets.
Lol. Shoulder rubs. I don't know why that's funny.
Third day was pretty sweet. We're actually working. In science that's not so great. Mr. Campbell's not too bad, but he gives a lot of work and I didn't write my name on my paper, so he waited for like 10 minutes for me to get a pencil. Only I only had pens. Oops.
I think my Scantron might get rejected. Ooops.
Two blonde people. Camera. That's supposed to be me. Laughing hard.
I'm actually laughing at everything right now.
Weird, I clicked on fall out boy! Psychic...
I luuuurve the courtyard. So far me, Amanda, Kevin, Sarah, Alexis, Jessica, Amby Paul, Kenny, Connor, and sometimes Matt have eaten out there every day. It's great.
Mr. Caley launched into a long lecture about how French kids don't date when I said the boy and the girl in the picture were dating. I mean, come on, they could have been friends, but I just ASSUMED they had it bad for each other. And Mr. Caley said they were BROTHER AND SISTER. Right, the girl was Vietnamese and the guy was white. I know there's adoption, but IT'S A PICTURE. Unless you KNOW the people, HOW ARE YOU GOING TO KNOW??? But Mr. Caley went on to talk about how people our age shouldn't date because it's practically sexist and the girl becomes her boyfriend's property. Which is, um...sort of true. And he asked me, who has never had a boyfriend, what my boyfriend would do if I talked to another boy. I was like, "He would punch him in the nuts...I mean, stomach." "You're right! He wouldn't like it!" Phew. Apparently French kids group date, but everyone pays their own way. WHY AM I FINE WITH THIS??? THIS IS WHY I SHOULD'VE BEEN BORN FRENCH!!!! Northern Europe sucks.
I got to leave science early. Ha ha ha. Mr. Campbell and I have the same binder. Ha ha ha. I would've gotten an A if I'd said something about it earlier. Ha ha...crap.
Old school Evanescence. You know, I really like "The Open Door", but "Fallen" is sort of better. I don't know. I think Amy's voice is better on "Fallen", but the music is pretty sweet on "The Open Door".
Do do do do.
Band is less ridiculous. I FORGOT MY MUSIC AT HOME! Dang. My syllabus is due. BAND COUNCIL NOMINATIONS! How fun. I wonder what Kevin got...

Hum Hallelujah

Hooooooooly cow, speeches were today. First time I've ever had a panic attack.
Not.
It did make me really nervous, though. I was vibrating I was so freaked out. But then I prayed and it stuff and it was all good.
The speech went GREAT. I might have a chance, if only because I drew a lightsaber at the last part.
Yep, a $20 force/spring-action Obi-Wan styled blade.
Got it at Walmart.
LIFE IS GOOD.
And Mrs. Schultz-Story gave me a Snickers. EVen sweeter.
Lalalala.
I beat Warbears 2 again. Mission 2. Same thing.
AND ALL OF THE MOTHERS RAISED THEIR BABIES TO STAY AWAY FROM ME....AND PRAY THEY DON'T GROW UP TO BEEEEEEEEEEEE...
That's not Hum Hallelujah. I know that. It's "Golden".
Still a good song...
Track was a little boring. I don't have a relay team, so I just sprawled in the grass by the shotputs trying to tan (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!). But I got 20 feet, which is getting better. I know it's BAD, but it's better than what I NORMALLy throw.

"Why 'Emo', Lauren? Why 'Emo'?"

I'll TEEEEEEEEELLL you why.
Actually, I won't. Yeeeeet, I guess.
Dude, I love my new sweatshirt. It's kind of big and piratey, but it's SOOOOOO comfortable. Navy blue hoodie with Lady Falcos on it.
Guess what's on the back?
That's right.
"Emo", sucka.
I had like 8 people be all, "Ew, why would you put EMO???" IT'S A COOL WORD, woman.
Pep assembly rocked. Basketball got announced. I love being egotistical. Sevvies won, though. Tiler and I were like, "How come we used to be sevvies and now we hate them?" Then we realized, "We always used to be like, 'Why do the 8th graders hate us?' Now we know."
Whatever. We had the best practice ever today. First we surprised Johnson with cake and donuts, then did Around the World, 3 point competition, Bump, free throws, and dribble competition.
I LOVED IT.
My clothes smell SO BAD, tho.
Myyyyy bad.
Oooooooh joyousness.
Movie night tonight.
I could maybe dance if I really tried.
Naaaaaah, I don't think so.
30 Seconds to Mars guy isn't hot. Ew.
