Truth to power

Stupid creeper day.
Like, really?
I wore all black, gloves, and a skull bandana, and realized some people dress like that everyday because they're "hardcore" and "edgy".
Really, it's NOT THAT edgy.
It's just HOW YOU WEAR YOUR CLOTHES.
And if EVERYONE is wearing lots of black and studs and skulls, you're not breaking any barriers.
It's annoying.
Our class will not win the Ho-Hos. :(
But we did have a party with cake, brownies, and bean-shaped cupcakes?
They were supposed to be shaped by hearts. They did kind of look like hearts.
But beans are better.
The Homecoming Court assembly was boring and rather pointless.
No music, no video, nothing.
They asked the members of the Court what their favorite school memory was.
That was the "entertainment".
Ew, Joshua Harris. I'm going to read his book anyway.
My mom says there's another book that completely disagrees with his point of view.
Ha ha ha. I kissed courtship goodbye, sucka.
My bass sounds very out of tune.
I'll read the sequel, too.
Don't you hate it when you reread a favorite book of yours after several years and it's...definitely NOT as good as you remember?
"Capt. Hook"...it's just not the same.
But it's always nice when you read a favorite book and it's good every time. YEAH.

Stop sending me cocky e-mails, John McCain

We'll never get bored cuz we can go boarding.
Let's let the sunshine take us there.
As much as I despise this band, this is a pretty catchy song.
Ugh, John McCain is being obnoxious. He keeps sending us e-mails like, "Good debate last night", and, "2 Weeks to Victory!"
I bet Barack Obama is sending similar e-mails to his friends, but really?
I DON'T think you're going to win, John, and I think you know that.
Mmm, corn chips.
It's hard to type when a dog is LYING ON YOUR ARM.
Thank you, Tie.
Monday??
Flexible??
No complaining??

You Are Monday

Like this day of the week, you are ruled by the moon.

More than anything, you are flexible.

You are moody and impressionable. You are easily influenced by the world around you.

And while you can be temperamental, you eventually adjust.

While Mondays tend to be the hardest day for people, you don't mind getting back to regular life.

You're the one waking up early and making the coffee while everyone else complains.

"La Boheme" and "Rent" are so similar, it's crazy. You can see things in "La Boheme" that Jonathan Larson took and added to each character from "Rent": Colline's coat, Schuanard's musical abilities, etc.
And Marcello is Mark and Joanne mixed into one character.
Alcindoro also reminded me a lot of both of them.
English was sort of a bummer.
As much as I love my teacher, we do NOT share the same views: morally, ethically, OR politically.
He was going on and on about moral absolutism vs. moral relativism and how moral relativism is how it SHOULD be, or rather, how it IS, and I got really bummed out, because he was completely dissing all my opinions (unwittingly, but still) and I didn't really get a chance to speak up.
It was just like...agh.
Ryan needs to eat.
Hurray for double chocolate Ho-Hos.
The best part is unrolling them and seeing the chocolate syrup. It's great.
But they're a little sticky.
Pajamajams. Pretty comfortable.
It seems like Jonathan Larson related to Mark the most, which is cool, because that's how I feel, especially regarding the song "Halloween".
Emma's little Pekinese attacked me.
But it wasn't very scary.
Don't you hate waking up early and thinking you're on time??
For example, when your alarm is set to 5:30, but you wake up at 1:30?
Sucks, doesn't it?

Etre ou etre pas, c'est le question.

Ha ha ha. French is cool.
Would you feel gypped if you bought a big bag of flavored Tootsie Rolls, AND IT DIDN'T HAVE ANY VANILLAS OR LIMES?
They're the only reason I EAT those things!
I was trapped in Yelm all weekend with the Youth Group.
But it ended up being pretty fun.
Except for the bus ride there.
And sleeping in a cabin full of talkative girls, who apparently like being awake for 48 hours with no sleep.
I was awake for 17 hours, and I was irritable.
Gross. Who'd want to eat cornbread saturated with baked beans, coleslaw, and brisket. Narsty.
Band is cool. Except when everyone is ninja kicking each other.
Emma's little brother is an elf. Hahahaha.
Science is actually not so bad. Everyone in the class is sort of a smart aleck, so we drive the teacher nuts. Which isn't good. But that's okay!!
Argh, no free time, no free time.
My mom was freaking out because I have my final drive tomorrow and she doesn't think I'll pass.
Which is pretty comforting.
-_-
So she made me practice parking, which I suck at, and backing around an uneven corner.
Fun fun fun.
But there's always Hostess Cupcakes and hot fudge to cheer me up.
Not together.
That would be indecent...
...but tasty.
We had to cover a ginormous paper bag with pictures that represented different aspects of our personality for English class.
I covered one whole side with pictures of FOB and another with photos of John McCain.
The other kids were not too impressed.
But Mr. Rosendale thinks it's cool that I'm a "Republican" (in the loosest sense of the word), but thinks I'll drop my "parent's values" and find "my own" by senior year.
Well, I might kind of sort of stand for civil unions...
...but you can get your own health care.
And forget mandatory preschool.

George Bush's got nothing on me

Ooooh man. We had THE REVOTE today.
I've been keeping that information relatively secret for two weeks, agonizing over a decision that will affect the entire student body, hoping the results will stay the same.
That was pretty stressful. Drew was out sick, so Mr. Barry had to call and tell him the news. Joanne and Dana, who are usually pretty calm, were really bummed.
Why can't the staff and current ASB count the ballots? Machines suck!
I want nothing more than to eat something delicious and chocolate.
Like cheesecake.
Or a Dove ice cream bar.
HAVE YOU HAD THOSE??? THe chocolate is so thick!!
Mrs. Laners brought Belgian chocolates into the office.
I had two.
Snack switching. Connor's never had a Twinkie?
Daniel ripped out my hair.
Kevin is sliding out of his shirt.
Tyler's hair is back to normal!!! Which is weird, because it's not his actual color.
Sarah pretty much cracks me up. We shared a chicken sandwich.
And I'd been so looking forward to pizza, too.
Jessica pwned us all in math. The whales were going extinct, but Mr. Kovacs didn't know what kind. Maybe sperm whales.
Baby beluga in the deep blue sea, swim so wild, swim so free....

Medal of Honor

I'm really hoping this is the last day of the sickness, because the stuffy, runny nose, and coughing is REALLY GETTING TO ME.
But I feel better than I did this morning, which was TOTAL CRAP. I didn't want to eat my cornflakes, because I was going to puke them up, and then the gag reflex started up during my daily toothbrushing, but I got to school all tired and dehydrated and Mr. Anderson DIDN'T MAKE ME TAKE THE SCIENCE QUIZ!!!!! YAY FOR MR. ANDERSON!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAY! It was pretty sweet. I even got to study extra hard in the library. I only got through 4 sections and there were 6 to do, so...oops.
But still. I deserve a Medal of Honor. Or the Girl of the Year award. Or at least a SONG written about me. Ahem. *glares at Trever McNevan*
Trever: *sigh*...STAND CLEAR, SHE'S THE GIRL OF THE YEAR AND I...forgot the words.
AAAAAAAAAGH! Do I have to learn everything myself?
I miss playing the drums. Still, it's not like I'm ever going to get to. So I don't know if I should just give up or try to get a drumset of some sort. There's always youth band. XP Hmmm, should I quit, do my own thing, or join an inconsistent worship band that plays lame music??
TOUGH DECISION.
Guitar looks tempting.
But every time I pick it up, I want to kill myself.
I'll never learn all those stupid frets.
So if I were to join a rock band, I'd have to be like manager or tee-shirt seller or something, seeing as I have like NOOO musical talent in that area.
Dang.
Stupid cheese! Excuse me...
Man, I hate having braces.
I really want another Hostess cupcake.
And a Snowball.
TWINKIES!!!!
They should make virtual Twinkies.
Hey, that's a Google search for you...
