F my life.

They changed my schedule AGAIN.
So they pretty much eliminated any chance of my having classes with friends.
I won't be seeing at least 6 of my friends all year long.
It's pretty frustrating.
Chemistry, math, and history, which tend to be my worst classes, take up the first three periods.
And the teachers seem pretty nice.
But I kind of wanted to be in a bad mood about this year.
They switched up the band schedule, so I wasn't able to take my first choice of English.
Then, all of a sudden, I'm thrown out of my second choice into Women's Studies.
WOMEN'S STUDIES!!!!!
THAT class, however, seems like it might be pretty entertaining. The teacher is pretty funny and nice, and I've heard stories about her. Funny ones.
And PE is full of other lazy teenage girls who want to do Pilates and yoga. AWESOME.
But STILL!! AAAAARGH!
I don't have classes with practically ANY band kids!
Neither with my best friend, but whatever, I guess I've been replaced. Understandable, but lamentable all the same. And irritating. But whatever.
AAAAAAAAARGH, but for some reason, I have LOTS of classes with an overly amorous male aquaintance.
NOT INTERESTED. THANKS.
It's going to be one of those years.
I was hoping to keep boy drama to a minimum. Looks like that's not going to happen.
But friend drama...I guess I'm safe in that department because I'll HAVE NO FRIENDS.
And grades? Who knows. All the teachers seem fairly reasonable.
But I was kind of depressed walking into history. Because I realized any chance of my EVER having Mr. Walker as a teacher flew out the window.
Unless I fail Chemistry and take it next year.
There is nowhere I can turn, there is no way to go oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon!
Darn. Javert is dead. The only thing left to look forward to is Marius' moving solo.
Well, that, and a rousing chorus of "Do You Hear the People Sing?"
I just realized: I HATE the song "Turning". Stupid stupid stupid. Of course they're dead. You could sound a little less happy about it!

Exploding volcano of passion

Lol, I just read a historical romance by Meg Cabot.
It was basically a rip-off of Princess Diaries. But she won't admit it.
And she wrote another romance with almost the exact same plot, word for word.
Seriously. Read these descriptions:
Nicola and the Viscount
It's only her first London season, but sixteen-year-old Nicola has made up her mind: Handsome, charming, poetry-reading Lord Sebastian is, simply, a god. So when the divine viscount starts paying special attention to her, Nicola is certain she's found her destiny.
Everything is perfect until the infuriating - and disturbingly handsome - Nathaniel Sheridan begins to cast doubt on the viscount's character...and on Nicola's feelings.

Victoria and the Rogue
Wealthy young heiress Lady Victoria Arbuthnot is accustomed to handling her own affairs - and everyone else's. So, when she's suddenly sent to London to find a husband, Victoria quickly finds a perfect English gentleman.
Everything is just as she wants it - that is, if the raffish young ship captain Jacob Carstairs would stop meddling in her plans.

Good times.
But the Nicola plot seemed suspiciously familiar.
A girl falls for a handsome, Aryan god, only to change her mind about him and go for her best friend's intelligent, dark-haired, good-looking BROTHER, Michael Moscovitz, er, Nathaniel Sheridan.
I was on the edge of my seat wondering how it would end! Would it be Sebastian? Nathaniel? Harold? Lol, I stayed up till 1:00 reading it. It had a completely satisfying ending...if you can call it that. But romantic cliches were plentiful and the historical anachronisms made me giggle.
And THEN, I find a preview of ANOTHER historical romance (sadly, not written by Meg Cabot) called "Catherine and the Pirate". The description alone was enough to set me aflame with curiousity...or something like that. It was hard to tell; I was laughing too hard.
Sometimes a girl does have her sights set on the right guy from the start, though. Take Catherine, of the next Avon True Romance, Catherine and the Pirate: she can't help but be attracted to Derrick. So what if he has an unsavory seafaring past? So what if he's her brother's best friend? So what if he acts as though he's not into her? That one kiss had to have meant something! Right?
They went on to describe it as a heartstopping, high-seas adventure.
"Nicola and the Viscount" had plenty of adventure. She was kidnapped by bad guys in broad daylight and locked in a tiny room in a London flat when she refused to bend to their will! Then, when one of her captors came in to torment her, she knocked him out with an ale pitcher and climbed out the window onto the roof! Grant, the evil cabby driver, began to pursue her, but felt himself beginning to slide off! Desperately, he grabbed Nicola's dress, bringing her down with him. Nicola thought she was going to die...but ending up landing in Nathaniel's arms. Grant fell into a water trough.
That's about as exciting as it gets around here.

Angry body language means she WANTS to be flirted with!

Yes, that what it means.
Not.
DO NOT TOUCH ME.
Argh. One of those days that kept flipflopping. There were really good moments, followed by really frustrating moments.
We had to give an oral book report today, where, following a brief overview of the book, we'd answer the questions he gave us.
Of course, not thinking clearly, I chose "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides.
I had, after all, spent four hours finishing it the night before, and, though not perfect, was a great book.
And, yes, it was about a hermaphrodite.
That was probably my first mistake.
But the book report went fine. Yeah, some people freaked out because a hermaphrodite has *gasp* a penis AND a vagina! And the oh-so-subtle guys in the back were making fun of me the entire time.
But my friends thought it was cool, albeit freakish, a couple people asked questions, and Mr. Rosendale had read the book before and didn't give me any crap, so that helped.
And I honestly didn't care what they thought anyway.
Okay, I sort of cared.
But, then again, if I'd REALLY cared, I would have done a different book.
When I was finished, however, one of my least favorite people commented loudly, either too stupid to remember that I was a few feet away (understandable, she is a cheerleader), or bitchy enough to say this (strongly, STRONGLY leaning towards the latter), made the remark that I must read books like this because they make me feel better about myself.
-_- And a girl who called herself my friend thought this was hilarious. She laughed. Which felt great.
And whenever people make comments like this, people are quick to assure you that that person is just JEALOUS, and obviously so insecure that she has to take it out on someone like you.
That doesn't erase what she said, however.
And I feel all mad and self-righteous, and, "Oh well, at least I know HOW to read," and stupid, smart-kid comebacks keep popping up in my head.
Because of course I can't think of anything better.
And even though I say all that, I don't mean it, which I find unfair. I've NEVER had to refer to the stupid popularity dichotomy and though cheerleaders do tend to be idiots, I don't bury myself in clothes from Hot Topic and emo music so I can make fun of their stupidity and conformity like some (I do that in regular clothes).
But when she said that, it put me in that "Us vs. Them" mindset, where I thought because she's popular she thinks she's entitled to look down on "us nerds".
I really thought that.
And, speaking of stereotypes, I AM a nerd. I rely way too much on my "brains" and look down on "stupid people" and am not always the nicest person to be around. So even though she said that thing about me, I say things about her (though not always outloud, or at least not PUBLIC), so the only reason I'm mad is because I'M jealous of HER.
Which isn't fair but is sort of true.
Aaagh it's so complicated, yet simple, and contradictory, and for these reasons I hate high school girls, but I find this really depressing because that makes me the angsty, unpopular emo chick instead of the nice, well-rounded, not-bitchy, interesting I'd like to be.
And the so-called "balance" between the two isn't a great mixture.
So all that crap I just typed means nothing. I just had to vent.
I did see "Up" yesterday, which made me cry, but was also fantastic. Pixar's best movie, and way better than anything Dreamworks has ever done.
But I'll focus on that when I'm done pouting.
For now, I'll just listen to music and/or Tyler telling me how overdramatic I'm being and how I took what she said completely out of context. Sounds like a fun afternoon.

Babies only like good things!

Because babies are pure and beautiful and could never be naughty or treacherous!
We had little kids over yesterday, and they kept calling Sully a "babyhead".
He countered with, "Oh yeah? Well, if I'm a baby, what are you?"
Their answer: "Chickens."
I'm so glad I have a girl dog.
Yep. That's all I have to say.
She smells terrible and we can't figure out why.
Besides her love of poop as a snack and her affinity for finding and rolling in dead things.
Are people really, REALLY that stupid?
In an EXTRA long English period (:P), Mr. Rosendale explained our poetry project, that none of us have started on (even though it's due Monday).
And no one got it.
They had the freaking directions out in front of them, yet none of them thought to read it.
Then they'd ask for ALL THE DETAILS AT ONCE, and, once given that information, would start hyperventilating!
"Too many details! Sensory overload! I'm confused! I don't get it!"
So frustrating. And they wasted the whole freaking period.
But Mr. Macaras let us sit outside after the quiz. Best math ever.
It's so hot outside. They say it will rain the rest of the week.
Oh well. 70 degrees in April is nice...
BBC did a terrible version of "Sense and Sensibility", and Betty Buckley ruined "Seasons of Love" for me forever.
:(
WHY?????????

You shall above all things....

Math WASL is over.
Thank goodness.
Gee, I wonder if I passed.
I'll be on the edge of my seat until the results get back...
...in August.
Waste of time.
Ew, "West Side Story"....
This whole stupid situation has just gotten worse.
And a lot of it's my fault.
And the fact that we're both immature idiots.
"The Scarlet Pimpernel" is my life.
He's done wrong! He can't be trusted! I have to hide my feelings! But true love prevails!
Only this isn't true love. But he's my best friend, which is why this sucks.
Lol, romanticizing teenage conflict. So fun.
But seriously, "The Scarlet Pimpernel" is the greatest movie we've watched all year.
Ian McKellen! Jane Seymour! Ew, Percy Blakeny has a very weak chin. It's rather hard to take him seriously.
They seek him here, they seek him there,
Those Frenchies seek him everywhere...

You can take the girl out of Hicksville, but you can't take the Hicksville out of the girl

So true.
Better days at school.
My dad thinks I have an eating disorder, though.
Please. It's not like I'm throwing up my breakfast on PURPOSE.
But mixed messages abound. It's getting really annoying.
It sucks to be melancholic and everything, but phlegmatics are just as annoying...in uniquely different ways.
Tyler and I did our England presentation today. Finally. At least it's out of the way. It might not have been 5 minutes, but at least it was 15 minutes like this one group, who stuttered painfully and paused for minutes in between topics.
And we weren't boring.
And we argued during it, which "caught people's attention".
But when we were done, people only had questions about the London Eye, the world's biggest ferris wheel.
Only that. And we couldn't answer them all.
Poor Maricel. She has to do it all by herself.
So we'll help her with the chocolate chip scones. Mmmm...
"They're supposed to be bitter!"
British people eat crappy food.
And don't like Jesus.
RENT! I love Anthony Rapp. Except for his icky goatee.
And Jesse L. Martin. He has a nice goatee.
And Wilson Jermaine Heredia's goatee looks pretty nice. HE is nice.
We're starting a poetry unit in English. It's a lot better than I thought it would be. Edgar A. Guest is totally cheesy and kind of lame, but I love Langston Hughes, Anne Sexton, and Mary Oliver. "Wild Geese" made me cry.
We have to pick a topic, find 5 poems that support that topic, write 2 of our own, and then present them to the class. One of them was "On the Edge", and I don't want to be melodramatic about it, because my poetry tends to be, but there was a poem in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" that fits the theme perfectly.
That one was sad, too.
The guy who wrote "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" also wrote the screenplay for "Rent".
No wonder I liked that book so much.

I've been living a lie...THERE'S NOTHING INSIDE!!!

I've become obsessed with personalities and people in general!
It's completely fascinating. Others might not think so, but I do.
And there's a whole website dedicated to understand temperament, personality type, and your role in the workplace. It's AWESOME!
Yes. I was salivating over it in the computer lab today.
And though percentages have changed since the late 1960's, INFJ is the rarest personality and ISTJ is the most common.
I'll make a pie chart or something.
Seriously. This is way cool.
Stay tuned!
Crap, I have a research draft due tomorrow.
And I've done little to no research.
And there's math.
But no French.
For ONCE.
MY BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND THERE WERE PACKAGES IN THE MAIL THAT I WASN'T ALLOWED TO OPEN!!!!!
Do you know what that means?
PACKAGES!!!! PRESENTS!!!! PARCELS!!!
GIFTS!!!
I have an evil plan involving seduction and a low cut sweater.
Take that, Mr. Darcy.

Maureen Johnson: bisexual performance artist or best-selling novelist?

When I saw books by "Maureen Johnson" at the library, I started screaming, because that's the name of Idina Menzel's character in "Rent".
I thought it was either a STRANGE coincidence or some rabid Renthead had gone a little too far in the search for a good pen name.
But no, it was just a strange coincidence.
How is it that she writes a meaningful true-to-life book like "The Bermudez Triangle" one day and shovels out crap like "Suite Scarlett", "13 Little Blue Envelopes", and "Girl At Sea" the next?
"The Key to the Golden Firebird" was all right.
I've never read "Devilish". Must be new.
She also had a new book come out where she cowrites with John Green (author of "Looking for Alaska" and "An Abundance of Katherines", which was pure genius) and Lauren Myracle (author of "Kissing Kate" and "TTYL", who isn't fantastic but isn't bad either). I was so tempted NOT to buy it.
But, for John Green, I might.
Truman Capote. "A Christmas Memory" was beautiful. And I'm not saying that from a stuffy, artsy, "I go to CK and am in Extra-AP English" point of view.
But this is the first story of his I've read and he managed to break my heart in 6 pages.
Oh no. It's about the devil.
I'm already reading "The Host".
I don't think I can handle any more talk about souls and devils and love and crap.
Jesse L. Martin is fantastic.
"Momma's Boys" was entertaining at first, but ultimately disheartening. Jojo's mom, Mrs. B, ended up being REALLY racist and all the non-white girls started crying, and their estrogen traveled through the TV and made me and my mom start crying.

Stop sending me cocky e-mails, John McCain

We'll never get bored cuz we can go boarding.
Let's let the sunshine take us there.
As much as I despise this band, this is a pretty catchy song.
Ugh, John McCain is being obnoxious. He keeps sending us e-mails like, "Good debate last night", and, "2 Weeks to Victory!"
I bet Barack Obama is sending similar e-mails to his friends, but really?
I DON'T think you're going to win, John, and I think you know that.
Mmm, corn chips.
It's hard to type when a dog is LYING ON YOUR ARM.
Thank you, Tie.
Monday??
Flexible??
No complaining??

You Are Monday

Like this day of the week, you are ruled by the moon.

More than anything, you are flexible.

You are moody and impressionable. You are easily influenced by the world around you.

And while you can be temperamental, you eventually adjust.

While Mondays tend to be the hardest day for people, you don't mind getting back to regular life.

You're the one waking up early and making the coffee while everyone else complains.

"La Boheme" and "Rent" are so similar, it's crazy. You can see things in "La Boheme" that Jonathan Larson took and added to each character from "Rent": Colline's coat, Schuanard's musical abilities, etc.
And Marcello is Mark and Joanne mixed into one character.
Alcindoro also reminded me a lot of both of them.
English was sort of a bummer.
As much as I love my teacher, we do NOT share the same views: morally, ethically, OR politically.
He was going on and on about moral absolutism vs. moral relativism and how moral relativism is how it SHOULD be, or rather, how it IS, and I got really bummed out, because he was completely dissing all my opinions (unwittingly, but still) and I didn't really get a chance to speak up.
It was just like...agh.
Ryan needs to eat.
Hurray for double chocolate Ho-Hos.
The best part is unrolling them and seeing the chocolate syrup. It's great.
But they're a little sticky.
Pajamajams. Pretty comfortable.
It seems like Jonathan Larson related to Mark the most, which is cool, because that's how I feel, especially regarding the song "Halloween".
Emma's little Pekinese attacked me.
But it wasn't very scary.
Don't you hate waking up early and thinking you're on time??
For example, when your alarm is set to 5:30, but you wake up at 1:30?
Sucks, doesn't it?

Teamwork! Pokemon! Dugtrio!

Uggggh. "Barbie and the Diamond Castle" was pretty bad, even for a Barbie movie.
I was so excited, too, but it was no "Mariposa", which pretty much changed my life.
Or "Barbie as the Island Princess", which was pretty cool.
Barbie's friend Teresa had a major role, but didn't really do anything. It was mostly just a Barbie lovefest.
And there were singing Elvis twins!!! Aaaaaah say it isn't so!!
The creators of the movie thought it would be ABSOLUTELY hilarious to have the puppies start breakdancing.
CHOCOLATE! The Cherrydale Farms guy came to our school and supplied us with candy. Raaah, I want to start selling.
Maybe I'll even buy a whole box so I can hole up in my room and eat all 42 bars.
"Oh, uh, hey there, Timpani. I'd like to thank you for this amazing breakfast. Scrambled eggs and cinnamon toast?? Mmmmm...delicious."
Ba dum bum.
Aaaah, a Sims blog!!! I'm trying to go back to the very beginning. It'll probably take a while.
SUCCESS!
Sierra stole my measuring tape.
But, no matter, I'm still flat-chested.
:(
Mr. Rosendale is having us read really depressing stories.
First, "The Cold Equations" (okay, not going to lie, I liked that one).
Then, it was "The river, the Bass, and Sheila Mant" (Aaargh. She wasn't worth it...and THEY BOTH GOT AWAY!)
Pretty soon, we're going to read "Of Mice and Men".
Lennie!!! Bunnies!!! Murder!!! Morality!! God!!!
Sounds like a blast. XP
I kind of want to make a Sims blog now.
But we all know how that will turn out.

Etre ou etre pas, c'est le question.

Ha ha ha. French is cool.
Would you feel gypped if you bought a big bag of flavored Tootsie Rolls, AND IT DIDN'T HAVE ANY VANILLAS OR LIMES?
They're the only reason I EAT those things!
I was trapped in Yelm all weekend with the Youth Group.
But it ended up being pretty fun.
Except for the bus ride there.
And sleeping in a cabin full of talkative girls, who apparently like being awake for 48 hours with no sleep.
I was awake for 17 hours, and I was irritable.
Gross. Who'd want to eat cornbread saturated with baked beans, coleslaw, and brisket. Narsty.
Band is cool. Except when everyone is ninja kicking each other.
Emma's little brother is an elf. Hahahaha.
Science is actually not so bad. Everyone in the class is sort of a smart aleck, so we drive the teacher nuts. Which isn't good. But that's okay!!
Argh, no free time, no free time.
My mom was freaking out because I have my final drive tomorrow and she doesn't think I'll pass.
Which is pretty comforting.
-_-
So she made me practice parking, which I suck at, and backing around an uneven corner.
Fun fun fun.
But there's always Hostess Cupcakes and hot fudge to cheer me up.
Not together.
That would be indecent...
...but tasty.
We had to cover a ginormous paper bag with pictures that represented different aspects of our personality for English class.
I covered one whole side with pictures of FOB and another with photos of John McCain.
The other kids were not too impressed.
But Mr. Rosendale thinks it's cool that I'm a "Republican" (in the loosest sense of the word), but thinks I'll drop my "parent's values" and find "my own" by senior year.
Well, I might kind of sort of stand for civil unions...
...but you can get your own health care.
And forget mandatory preschool.

What could be better than Designer Week at Ross?

You Are China

You adhere to the ideas of loyalty, honesty, sincerity, and duty.

You respect authority and age. You believe in social harmony.

You are big and bold. People consider you to be someone with a lot of potential.

You are coming into your own right now, and you are figuring out your place in the world.

School is AMAZING!!
My life is finally complete!
For the second day at school, a LOT happened.
There are TWO German exchange students at school (not to mention a Korean one, a Mongolian one, and other people from various countries), and I got the name of one of them wrong, so he waited for me after to class in order to correct me.
And I still don't know his name.
We're having a party in English!! Aaaah!! He's bringing music and magazines and glue sticks! We're all making collages!!
French is pretty fun. Mr. Anspach was like, "Anouk, huh? Is that Moroccan?" Um, maybe. We just reviewed concepts like "etre" and "aller" and it's all coming back. Janessa's name is Cosette. Jealous.
Heh, band is too cool. We talked about how students have no rights at all, because police could basically search you if they had an okay, if not shaky, reason.
There are beans involved.
We're starting a science project tomorrow. XP Today, though, we had to interview another person, so I interviewed Tyler.
He told everyone I want to go to WSU to be a lizard veterinarian.
Tony actually took him seriously.
My locker got fixed!! School is so amazing!! Lunch sucks!!
PE is off to an interesting start. The PE teacher made us play a weird variation of "Rock, Paper, Scissors".
PE man: Okay, I'm going to say a word, and you're going to say a word, and then you play Rock, Paper, Scissors. And you have to move.
Kids: What??
PE man: Okay, how you play Rock, Paper, Scissors is....
Kids: No, no, we get THAT part.
PE man: Okay, your first word is DIVORCE!
Kids: ????????????
PE man: Say the next word.
Kids: What's the next word??
PE man: You tell me.
Kids: Depressing?
PE man: GREAT! That word has to do with fitness, you know.
Kids: Right....WHY DO WE HAVE HAVE TO PLAY ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS?

How will I convince them I'm a French speaker and not a well-meaning Aleut?

DUDE! We get to pick NAMES for French II! Of course, most people already have names. -_- Which makes me hate last year even more.
My homework was to find a French name, and I'm thinking about Anouk.
It's off the wall and cool, so whatever.
English is my favorite class so far. We spent an hour taking roll, talking about our other English teachers, and discussing the correct definition of "segue way".
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?

You Are the Father

You are a strong, powerful figure in the lives of your friends and families.

In general, you value justice and fairness. You appreciate structure and rules.

At your best, you protect and guide those close to you.

You are a born leader. You are good at establishing order in chaotic situations.

At your worst, you are a tyrant who rules through intimidation and criticism.

You are quick to condemn other people as pathetic losers not worth your time.

Band was pretty cool. My new neighbor is in two of my classes. But Mr. Williams asked her what she played, and when she said "flute", he was like, "TROMBONE?"
Cuz they sound the same.
Anouk, Anouk, Anouk.
Math is sort of...interesting. The math teacher told us a Minnesotan joke?
Tie ran across the street and attacked some random dog.
Mom and I were yelling at her.
So she walked slowly towards us THROUGH TRAFFIC!
My dog is retarded.
1st lunch ROCKS.

Don't ask, don't tell

I wasn't sure what that meant at first.
So I retook the McCain/Obama quiz, and I am 76% for McCain and 24% for Obama.
Tie and I went on a walk with Alexis and her dogs. Cosmo was there, too, and Tie tried to eat him, but Isabel rescued him and there was a death match.
BEAT DOWN!
SCHOOL SUPPLY SHOPPING!!! One of the best days of the year. But I really didn't need that much, so I just bought some binders and a couple T-shirts.
Where are all the composition notebooks??? I couldn't find them!!
There was a T-shirt that said "Vader for Prez '08" but I couldn't find one in my size. >:(
I would totally vote for Vader.
Take a ride on the dark side.
Eeeee, tomorrow is going to be so cool!
Spoken like a true sophomore, I know, but seriously!! I get to start AND end the day with a cool class.
Oh, but I do have PE first thing.
And the PE teacher is a psycho.
-_- Oh well, at least all my band buddies are in it.
"The Big Bang Theory" is pretty much the best show on television.
Better than "High School Musical: Get in the Picture", anyway. Too much drama. There are some pretty fine guys on it, though. STAN IS NOT ONE OF THEM!! James is in the chorus. :(
Ugh, and whenever he has a lead part and he messes up, the faculty excuses it because he's smooth, or whatever.
Isaiah is the MAN!
But Sheldon on Big Bang Theory pretty much makes my day, even though he's such a jerk. And he wears funny pants.
"I'm going to collaborate with you!"
And Daniel Kim got a girl at 15-years-old, so they're all jealous.
The first season came out on DVD today!!! WANT!

Even more cuteness!

Snatching is so much fun. But Sarah got paranoid and was running from me all day.
All I had for lunch was cookies. Tyler had some magically delicious cookies from a pouch, and a cookie that looked like vomit but tasted good, and Sarah gave me an Oreo, and then I ate some Chips Ahoy.
Phew, both English finals were SO easy. Band, Health, and French didn't have a final, and I got a B on the science final, so the only thing I have to worry about is the math final on Friday the 13th. How clever, Mr. Kovacs.
EWWWWWWW we had to watch "Life's Greatest Miracle" today in Health, and we didn't get to the part where the baby comes out, but we had to watch sex from the inside!! You know what I'm talking about, right? Not only that, but we had to look at guys in Speedos, various animals mating, and this guy make out with some random girl on a beach WHERE HE TAKES OFF HER DRESS!!! WHOA!!! WHY ARE WE BEING ALLOWED TO WATCH THIS???
And then we had to take a good look at HIS sexual organ, and then the baby's stump. Not quite a penis or anything else, just a stump.
Connor, Sarah, and I were practically barfing. And we had to watch all this RIGHT AFTER LUNCH. I almost literally tossed my cookies.

Thai Kwan Dough

OMG, WE HAVE A DOG!!! Tie is SOOOO amazing and cute, and she fits right into our family. She especially loves my dad, and he pretends not to like her, but whatever. Right now she's watching TV with us. Well, with my family. I'm blogging and printing my Romeo and Juliet essay.
Okay, it sounds nerdy, but I went to "Disney's High School Musical On Tour" at the Paramount last night, and it was pretty sweet. The singers and actors were so much better than the mediocre teen stars we've come to know and love. Well, except for Kelsi, who was creepy, and Sharpay, who was overly annoying.
And Ryan, who actually had a brain and was fruitier than usual.
And the night wasn't perfect, as we took my 7-year-old cousin and she totally hated it and was complaining about our seats, so we moved, and the people behind us were drunk!! Yay!! So that sucked.
Yaaaaah, finished my essay.
I'm never going to the beach again.
"Hola! Excellente!"
"What does that mean?"
"It's Spanish!!"
"...."

Tuesday, December 18, 2007

Yeah, I'm pretty much famous.

Aaaaaaaargh Tim and Tyler got suspended! Now what am I supposed to do in math/science? Actually, I can live without Tyler in math, but science is very boring without Tim. And why is it that Tim got a longer suspension than Tyler??? So confused. I'm calling the Justice League. Although I like Marvel comics better. I would so rather have Spiderman save me than Superman. Or Wonder Woman. I like Batman, too, even though he's DC. Or Daredevil, lol. Or the Flash; he has a cool costume.
I guess Superman is too good for us little people.
Superman: Save you? Pah! I'd rather be off fathering illegitimate children with my longtime love.
Lauren: ....didn't she marry James Marsden?
Superman: Crap.
But enough about him.
I had four tests in one day. It was pretty crazy, but I think I did best on "The Raven" in Pre-AP. Maybe math. I wasn't so hot in French today, and science was all right.
Mr. Campbell is leaving after tomorrow. :( I'm bringing him some soup and a delicious batch of sugar cookies.
Yay, I get to play in the jazz band for all three lunches.
Omg, "If We Were A Movie" is my favorite song, you have NO idea. I really want that CD, no lie.
The elementary tour was good. It was pajama day and all the little kiddies were wearing pajamas and rain boots and looking adorable. Kevin's little brother had a lot of questions. AAARGH, Mr. Faxon made us skip "Jumping at the Woodside", therefore skipping my SOLO!!! XP I worked hard on it, too.
"I'm Like A Lawyer..." is a cool song, too. I might even like it more than "The Take Over, The Breaks Over".
Ben is my hero.
BAM, I got A's on all my "Pride and Prejudice" letters.

So lying is condoned now?

Honestly.
"Snakecharm" is kind of boring so far. Disappointed. Danica's pregnant, though, and she and Zane don't want to give up the kid or something. All this political rubbish.
I read "Perfect" from the "Pretty Little Liars" series, though, and that was pretty good. I'm putting a hold on the first one.
Math quiz today. I couldn't get 2F for like 20 minutes and then I tried a zero in the equation and it WORKED. Mr. Kovacs kept looking at my paper and telling everyone what I got wrong, though. 2x(x + 4). Pretty much, yo.
Pre-AP English is SOOOO LAME. I'm doing good, though? Guess that's cool.
Science is too easy, but we're coming up on some new material. Darn. Better pay attention.
We played "Pictures at an Exhibition" in band. Aagh, it's crazy fun to play, but he took it away. I think we should play it in a concert, though, and wave rubber chickens during "The Ballet of Unhatched Chickens".
Jodie WILL have a boy. BOY! BOY! BOY! BOY!

Pride and Prejudice will kill me yet.

Aaaaaargh. I LOATHE Pre-AP English. I was all set to keep reading "The Wind In the Willows", but Mrs. Sims told me I can't read that for my book journal, so now there's no point in reading it, and even if I were to go ahead and do so, I have no motivation. :P So I had to find another "challenging book" (she kept saying, "Read 'The Good Earth', it's the best book you will ever read!"), and I finally got behind annoyed and picked up "Pride and Prejudice". Raaah.
It's been raining for 24 HOURS!! Some of the houses in the neighborhood started flooding, so school closed an hour ago and we got to go home. I didn't think I would get to come home because I thought my mom was working, but she came and picked me up. Phew.
"The 9 Lives of Chloe King" is way lame.
I had a bacon sandwich for lunch, though, so that was pretty cool. Nothing on it, just bacon and white bread. It was pretty fantabulous, and when I got home I kept screaming, "BACON SANDWICH WITH MAYO!!" "Dreamcatcher"-style.
I vow never to watch the BBC version of "Pride and Prejudice". Ever.
My mom has watched it like 50 million times.
She's laughing at my pain.

Woundwort introduced

"Watership Down" is good, but it's taking me a long time to finish it. Speaking of long books, I started "Dreamcatcher" and it's surprisingly good. Yeah, I know, I'm actually enjoying a Stephen King book. I'm only on page 49, though. I hope it's not about aliens. Aliens are lame. I mean, "Independence Day".
I think every day should be a half day. I had most of my hard classes today, but it was pretty enjoyable. All we did in French was conjugate French verbs and walk around the school saying, "Elle entre l'ecole, il entre l'ecole, il entre l'ecole, elle entre l'ecole."
I really think Mrs. Sims hates me. She sure acts like it. And why does she want me to work harder? When I do work really hard, she gets mad at me. Man, I have so much homework from her class. Aaaargh.
Math was pretty fun. Class discussions and what not. Group work is semi fun. Jessica wasn't there, tho, so I was on my own in a sense. But I get math. This is so weird.
Aaaaagh I made cookies using the recipe from the Magic Cookbook, but they taste gross. At least, I think so. My mom and William both said they were amazing. I don't know, they're way too sweet to me and they're crunchy, which is nasty.
I like this shirt. Very turquoisey.
