Jazz band had to perform at this Family Night thing at the Fairgrounds, and there were army people hoping to recruit and hand out lanyards that said, "GO ARMY STRONG". They were quite silky.

That Bingo was a gyp. I was one away from winning like 10 times and they never called the last number.
My mom won me the first Maximum Ride, though.
I tried to convince Alexis to pick "Wolfcry" for her winning book, but she was like, "No, I don't want a book about lesbians."
But they're nice lesbians. One's a wolf and one's a wyvern. I thought it would be Nicias, though.
"Wyvernhail" is a pretty sweet book. Hai is the bomb. Better than stupid Oliza anyways. "Before, After, and Somebody in Between" is good, too, though I haven't finished it yet.
Anyone want some horse posters? My mom found a million that I apparently tore out of "Young Rider" and "Horse Illustrated" magazines. Seriously, there's like 25 posters of Fell ponies and Quarter Horses. Some of them are pretty cool, and I'm considering plastering them all over my walls, but some are butt ugly, so if you want them, tell me.
Okay, more on "Wolfcry": though I don't agree with the whole homosexuality thing totally (okay, at all), I get why she did it. I mean, yeah, she loves Betia, but there was no way for her to ascend the throne without giving birth to children that would blow up the world. The two cultures (avian and serpiente) shouldn't be mixed, anyway.
It sort of sucks that she and Betia can't have kids, though.
Well, Betia could get pregnant with a wolf, and HER kids wouldn't blow up the world.

I read "Wolfcry" and it was not bad. The ending was weirdish. Well, I say weird because it conflicted with my morality, but honestly I just wanted both characters to be happy at the end. And it was pretty predictable; how could they not end up together? [Spoiler warning]: I don't know, though. Is abdicating your throne and running off with a girl a real solution? It worked, and it seemed right, and she found rulers for both thrones (Salem, a cool kid, and Sive, a not so cool kid), but I don't know. It seemed way sad. And her parents were way mean about it. It was kind of weird, because I wouldn't have thought of that as a solution. But I guess Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is different. "If you can't decide which guy to marry...abdicate and marry a girl!" The next one, "Wyverhail", came out recently (I think), but it doesn't look good. Hai, my LEAST favorite character, has to take the throne. Whaaaaaaaat? What happened to Salem? Dang. He's going to die. Or something. I HATE HAI.
DUDE my birthday was so amazing. I got a new stereo!!! With an Ipod-dock!!! Yay! I also have an *sparkly* emo sweater and some new pajamas. w00t.

Ugh, school was not so good today. I don't know why I suck so much at math!!! I got a 62% on the last test!!! Aaargh!! Everyone says I have test anxiety, but isn't their some anxiety involved with that? I NEVER feel anxious for tests. Even if I haven't studied, I feel confident. I took that math test, I only left 2 questions blank, but the rest I KNEW. I KNEW the answers.
And I got 19 questions wrong.
Crap.
So I got really emo, but I have really cool friends that cheered me up, and Mr. Faxon gave me the trombone part for "Another One Bites the Dust", so hey.

I just started "White Fang" and am more than halfway through already. White Fang is sort of messed up. I know he's quite wolfish (at least a quarter wolf blood), but all he does is kill things and hate people. He ate a kitten once. It sounded kind of gross and sad, because I love kittens and I could hear it purring, but kind of good at the same time, seeing as I am attracted to all things meat.

Connor, Kevin, and I are going to play "Winnie the Pooh" together. Yeah.
I made hot dogs for aliens and New Yorkers yesterday.
