How bout 8 pounds of cake?

Ha. Jim Gaffigan.
I know bagels are equivalent to 5 pieces of bread, but they're also delicious.
Well, the one I just ate wasn't. It was a little too...sweet.
And it was a plain bagel, not cinnamon or anything, so it the sweetness seemed out of place. Curse you, Sara Lee!
I can't seem to find cinnamon bagels. Not cinnamon raisin, just plain old cinnamon.
And I know they exist, because Mrs. Hamblet bought us a bunch and I ate at least 4.
But that's okay. They were mini bagels.
My mom and I watched "Once Upon a Mattress".
Too cute.
A mute king discussing the birds and the bees with his 40-year-old son?
All the possibilities...
Zooey Deschanel getting knocked up by the guy from "Glee"?
Oh dear. Can't say she didn't deserve it.
My favorite part was the wizard pretending to be the Nightingale of Samarkand.
"Ka ka ka ka ka, ka ka ka ka ka."
And then he got angry!
"KA KA KA, KA KA, KA KA KA, KA KAAAAAAAA!"
He was so cute, on his little swing!
But not as cute as the king, who was an adorable old man until he got his voice back.
Oh dear, I've spoiled the ending. Rats. Might as well spoil everything else.
It wasn't the pea!
It was jousting equipment!
I'm rereading the Harry Potter series for the millionth times.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to make headway in "Les Miserables" (I should just give up), while revisiting the "Peaches" trio and slogging my way through the new Maximum Ride (I really don't want to...curse you, James Patterson, and your political agenda).
The dog is exhausted. We took a long walk, and she got in a fight with a retriever puppy twice her size. But she won, which is all that matters.

The main character becomes much less attractive when revealed to be short.

Heh. Harry Potter.
After a nightmare planning, I finally saw HP6 with my dad and Emma.
Car rides with them is always sooooooooo fun...what with no one talking.
And then we got to the theater and it was attack of the Introverted Feeler Perceivers.
"Do you want popcorn?"
"I don't know, do you want popcorn?"
"Well, sorta. Does Emma want popcorn?"
"Um, no, that's okay."
"No, it's okay, I'll buy some. How about soda?"
"Nah. Do you want soda?"
"Well....yes."
"Buy some."
"Okay."
"And some popcorn."
"You want popcorn."
"Yes."
"Okay, I bought popcorn, but I didn't get butter."
"Oh."
"Oh no! Did you want butter?"
"Don't worry, I'll get some. Would you like some popcorn, Emma?"
Fun times.
And then we had to decide where to sit...
"Is this okay?"
"Um, sure. Do YOU think it's okay?"
And so on.
Previews. Still my favorite part.
They made a Sherlock Holmes movie? And it's an ACTION movie? Whaaaat?
But...it has Jude Law. :)
It also has Rachel McAdams. :(
And Robert Downey, Jr. :/
Meaning I'll probably go see it when it comes out.
But the movie ended up being REALLY GOOD.
Harry Potter, not "Great Scot!: The Sherlocke Holmes Adventure".
Which I thought was weird, considering David Yates is the one who gave us "Order of the Phoenix", yet managed to produce this 3-and-a-half star film.
Wow, David. What prompted this change?
And there were a few things.
But I'm probably the only one who had a problem with them. Because, yes, I tend to overexaggerate things.
But I don't care. There are times when it's "going overboard"...and there are times when some people *cough cough* should just ADMIT "August Rush" was terrible and leave it at that.
I like Michael Gambon, but not as Dumbledore. He would've made a good Gandalf...but it's too late for that now.
Ugh, Emma Watson. When in doubt, close-up on Hermione's crying face!
She can't even cry! Terrible actress.
At least her thing with Ron was somewhat believable. It was a little hard to believe in the other movies when she would continually throw herself at Harry.
I think they finally just told her to stop.
Hate. Hate. Hate. Hermione is supposed to be smart.
Tom Felton was brilliant.
Rupert Grint is, sadly, the best of the three, but not too bad. Might even be verging on good!
Little boy Voldemort was creepy and morose and sort of annoying.
Teenage Voldemort was FANTASTIC, and reminded me of a combination of David Bowie and Lord Sebastian Flyte.
So evil. It was great.
Slughorn was more of a fop than a pompous old windbag, but a funny fop. Perfect for the part.
Wow, when did Hogwarts receive its shipment of fantasically hot guys?
The movie was pretty much excellent all the way through, UNTIL THEY KILLED DUMBLEDORE!!
Not that I didn't know it was going to happen.
But Snape?
They sort of left out all of Harry's suspicions about Snape, assuming that everyone knew how much Harry distrusted and hated Snape.
But most of the movie was focused on his distrust and hatred for Malfoy. Hm.
And I guess they put in the Unbreakable Vow scene. But still.
So Alan Rickman kills Dumbledore like it's no big deal.
Then the Death Eaters LEAVE THE PREMISES, without even so much as a goodbye or a magical battle of some sort.
Well, Bellatrix was busy freaking out. But she always does that. Ugh, that's another thing: Helena Bonham-Carter. It's like she wants her character to be Jack Sparrow of the wizarding world. I think she's just mad that Tim Burton loves Johnny Depp more than he loves her. Still, mimicking Johnny Depp in a HARRY POTTER MOVIE doesn't seem to be doing her much good. Sooooo annoying.
So the Death Eaters go away, leaving Harry with Snape, and Harry's being Harry (even though Daniel Radcliffe managed not to be too useless in his movie and left the annoying whiny grunty groany thing he does when he gets upset at home), cursing him all emotionally.
And Snape's just casually deflecting.
Harry calls him a coward, and you can see Snape's face is full of pain, and you're waiting for him to snap and turn on Harry, admitting his shocking secret, LIKE HE DID IN THE BOOK.
Only he turns to Harry, after cursing him, and goes, and a FLAT, EMOTIONLESS VOICE, "How dare you use one of my own spells against me. That's right. I'm the Half-Blood Prince."
Or something to that effect. Then he SAUNTERS off into the darkness.
It sort of ruined the movie.
But then Harry went back to the Astronomy Tower and all the students were gathered around crying over Dumbledore's body.
Another close-up of Hermione's hideous crying face.
Then Harry goes up to the body and starts to cry. I started to get a little choked-up.
Then all the students raised their wands as a silent tribute to the fallen Dumbledore, and it was the cheesiest thing I've ever seen in my life, but I cried anyway.
Only I was sitting next to my dad, who doesn't cry EVER, and Emma, who gets embarrassed easily, so I didn't start bawling in my seat.
Best Harry Potter movie YET!
I'm so stoked for "Deathly Hallows".
It's just...there's SO MUCH.
They did really good with this movie, but they still had to cut out quite a bit (ahem. Tonks and Lupin!?!? All of a sudden, they're a couple!? What is this?).
And they are splitting the last book into two movies, because there's so much stuff.
But what if it sucks, like #4 and #5 did?
Or is boring, like the first two?
Argh. It's not coming out for a year...plenty of time...what'll I do until then?

Just a few things

I'm leaving for Colorado in 8 hours!!
I'll be gone until the 25th!!
I couldn't sleep, so I started thinking about the Sorting Hat/Personality type thing and agree that Gryffindor's are SJ's and Slytherin's are SP's.
And it's just a trend in the house. Harry Potter was an SP and should've been a Slytherin. Dumbledore was an NF and should've been a Hufflepuff.
But it's still pretty cool.
Most of the SJ characters were in Gryffindor anyway, but a lot of NT's were either in Gryffindor or Slytherin, and all of the NF's were in Gryffindor.
But I'll try not to freak out too much.

Interesting theory....

Someone just combined two of my favorite things: Myers-Briggs and Harry Potter!
They think that each of the four houses represents a different group of personality types.
Although I agree with another person who posted and said Slytherins were the Protectors and Gryffindors Creators, rather than the other way around.
Because many of the Gryffindors were rather impulsive (a P characteristic). The only one who wasn't was Hermione.
So that means:
Protectors (SJ): Slytherin
Creators (SP): Gryffindor
Intellectuals (NT): Ravenclaw
Visionaries (NF): Hufflepuff
I'm a Visionary (INFP), and I took one of the more accurate Sorting Hat quizzes, and it put me in Hufflepuff.
What do you know? That fits!
What a cool theory.
Psh. Gryffindors are overrated anyway.

Which Hogwarts house will you be sorted into?

Because you know it's true

You Are Jan Brady

Brainy and a little introverted, you tend to think life is a lot worse than it actually is.

And while you may think you're a little goofy looking, most people consider you to be a major babe.

Wow....that sums up my entire life.
Except for the babe part.
Because I'm obsessed, I found a Harry Potter quiz on e lockhart's blog (THE NEW ROO BOOK IS COMING OUT SOON!!) and went to take it, only to find out it was the Meyers-Briggs personality test, but each result corresponded to a different character in the series. Most of the primary characters were there and it was enlightening and explained a lot of things about each of the characters and it was one of those things that nerds like me get off on.
And, according to personalitypage.com, a person's "natural mate" is a person whose personality type who's two middle letters are the same as your own, but the outer two are opposite.
For example: ESFJ's "natural mate" would be ISFP.
So, being a nerd, I took the results from the Harry Potter quiz and paired up the characters who seem to be made for each other.
And, of course, none of these characters got together in the books, because of age, sexuality, and morals (um, yeah, Voldemort)?
But it was still kind of cool.
For instance, Hermione's soul mate is Draco Malfoy.
Mwahaha.
ISTJ+ESTP = Hermione Granger + Draco Malfoy
ISFP+ESFJ = Harry Potter + Molly Weasley
INFP+ENFJ = Remus Lupin + Olympe Maxime
INTP+ENTJ = Voldemort + Minerva McGonagall
ISTP+ESTJ = Madam Hooch + Percy Weasley
INFJ+ENFP = Albus Dumbledore + Fred/George Weasley
INTJ+ENTP = (this is a good one) Severus Snape + Sirius Black
ISFJ+ESFP = Rubeus Hagrid + Ronald Weasley
So yeah. I just thought it was kind of cool. Because personality doesn't necessarily determine who you'll get along with, but it sort of explains why Mrs. Weasley considered Harry a part of the family. And why Dumbledore turned a blind eye to Fred and George's tricks.
But not why Severus and Sirius hate each other.
But we knew that already.
Farah Fawcett died today.
So did Michael Jackson.
On 20/20, they kept bringing up his many allegations of child molesting.
Or maybe it's not that many. But it's been more than once.
And Barbara Walters or one of the many blonde-helmeted news people asked him if he'd ever sexually "abused" a child, and he said, "Never, never, I would NEVER harm a child."
Yeah, but....
....a lot of child molestors don't think they're "hurting" the child at all.
It's weird, and messed up, and it doesn't justify what they do, but that's how they think.
So he wasn't guilty either time (he might have been once? I don't know)...but it makes you wonder if he was.
I don't know. I was just thinking about it.
And it made me sort of sad for him. Because his early life had sucked. A bunch.
But that's like saying, "Oh, that guy had a hard life. It's totally cool if he abuses his horse."
That was in a book, by the way. I didn't just randomly pull that out of the air.
But it wouldn't be any less weird if I had.

Christians at an alehouse?

Despite the fact that I didn't get into bed until 2:00 AM last night, and then Tie stole all the covers, Grad Night last night was pretty bomb.
And yeah, I was the only one who didn't whip out a brand new prom dress for the occassion.
But my dress was one of those perfect, God-given shopping moments.
You see it and you just know.
Because my life is a romantic comedy with Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman.
Ew, I just watched "Kate and Leopold" and it was terrible.
They always describe Meg Ryan's characters as "quirky" and "independent" when the proper word would probably be "ditzy" or "clueless".
Anyway.
Good times.
And the pastors didn't give me questionable stares because of the amount of leg and cleavage I was showing.
Speaking of pastors, Pastor Mike hid under the stage for 3 HOURS during the "Clue"-esque production put on during dinner.
It's always the quiet ones...
...but it was really Milton Bradley.
And it was a little disappointing pulling up to BJ's in Tacoma after a seemingly endless drive, but the Pizookies were totally worth it.
And the flatbread pizza.
Mmmm, vanilla bean ice cream.
And our waitress was all wise and actually enjoyed her job.
Why that was memorable, I don't know why.
But she was nice.
And had cool hair.
And gave Josh an orchard full of lemons for his homemade lemonade.
Harry Potter seems like perfect summer reading material.
Because every book opens in the beginning of summer, when it's hot out and everyone but Harry is lazing about.
And then, while you laze about yourself, you get to read about a school 10 times cooler than yours will ever be.
Even if it's always cold there.

We only got 4 minutes to save the world!

Dang it.
Now not only can I not watch "The Lord of the Rings" due to major suckage, I've lost yet another movie series to the depths: "Harry Potter".
Daniel Radcliffe can't act worth CRAP. He's TERRIBLE.
And Emma Watson's idea of "emoting" is yelling a lot.
Last time I checked, Hermione was smart.
And she and Rupert Grint have NO chemistry whatsoever.
The entire time, she's throwing herself at Harry, while Ron blubbers about, going, "Bloody hell, bloody hell."
Ugh.
We're watching "The Goblet of Fire" in French.
Those dragons are positively terrifying!!
Yes, Daniel, I'm completely scared of those computer generated leviathans.

Fascinating things, belly buttons.

You Are Puzzled Over

You are quirky, complicated, and brilliant. You tend to feel a bit misunderstood by everyone, and that troubles you.

It's likely that you will have four or more children... whether you use birth control or not!

You are not easily moved. You are very stoic and not though of as an emotional person.

You are very detail oriented and tidy. Some may even call you obsessive.

You are quite conservative. You are neither a flirter or a flaunter.

Who says I'll be using birth control?
Hee hee. Those darn Catholics.
"We're hypocrites. But you already knew that."
"Oh...well, Baptists eat a lot and can't dance."
I have really amazing friends. It was so good to see them again...even if it was 2 hours late, which was kind of a bonus.
Still. It was a weird day. Kind of sad, too.
My cellphone's happy, though.
The Bumblebee.
Holy snap. Emma Thompson and Ang Lee did a superb job on "Sense and Sensibility".
It was better even than "Pride and Prejudice", and completely beat out "Wives and Daughters", no matter how hot Roger was.
Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Hugh LAURIE, Alan Rickman, and Kate Winslet.
WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE??
Hugh Grant used to be a babe. Well, he still is...sort of. Just older.
Alan Rickman was almost 50 when he did the movie, and managed to play an older gentleman without being creepy!
And you could tell he loved Marianne. It was so adorable.
He carried her 5 and a half miles in the rain!!
He read her Shakespeare's sonnets when she got sick!!
He brought her flowers when she twisted her ankle!!
Too wonderful for words.

This tent is for champions...and friends.

Preach it, Viktor, preach it.
Couldn't get to sleep last night. Nice. And I'm supposed to be resting it up for a relatively early morning.
Okay, so a 9:00 band practice isn't that early.
But it's unpleasant.
So I'm back on the horn section. Dean and my dad were right: I AM just an average high school player.
Huh. How humbling.
But the music he gave us made much more sense when it was played with the whole group there. Otherwise, it just sounded like crap.
School starts in 4 days!!! I'm so excited I wish it would go Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and skip Monday.
I have to spend some time with my family at the beach on Monday, when I REALLY wanted to be spending time with Khaled Hosseini.
"The Kite Runner" is getting better and better.
One of the characters just blew the story wide open.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? How did THAT happen?
DOOMSDAY (danger has gone)
DANGER HAS GONE
Good song.

I won't catch you when you fall...but I'll help you up afterwards

Okay, the sorting hat quiz on the Official Harry Potter site is sort of ridiculous. "What's your favorite flavor of bean?" And they list all these disgusting flavors, so of COURSE everyone is going to pick chocolate.
I think it's "Mostly A's = Gryffindor", "Mostly B's = Ravenclaw"...that sort of thing.
THEY WON'T TELL ME WHERE I WAS SORTED! They keep sending me to the homepage.
I put my trust in the sorting hat quiz on this page, but they put me in Hufflepuff last time.
I actually took a BUNCH of sorting hat quizzes when I was bored, and out of 15 or so quizzes, the results were:
Ravenclaw: 36%
Gryffindor: 36%
Hufflepuff: 14%
Slytherin: 14%
And I realize that the houses really aren't that much WORSE than Gryffindor.
Ravenclaw is for smarties. Hufflepuff is for loyal friends (and sort of for hacks, but that's okay). And there's nothing wrong with Slytherin, after the whole, "Yay, Draco's a good guy now!", but I'd rather be a lion than a snake, their house colors are ugly (while everyone else's are fairly cool), and being wise, loyal, and brave is more important than being cunning and a good liar.
Although I kind of wish I was a good liar.
GRYFFINDOR!
Aw, now I wish I was back in Hufflepuff.
GRAAAAAAAH, Dean won't let me play on the horn section!! He hasn't had any bone parts TWICE now, and Nathan keeps chastising me like it's MY FAULT. He always does that, and then he tells me to take the initiative and stuff. He knows I'm interested in playing. He apparently just doesn't need (or want) any trombones. But it's a HORN section, not a SAXOPHONE section, and it always ends up being countless saxophones and ONE trumpet. Sooooo lame.
I wish summer small groups met more than once a month.
We were going to go on a road trip...but we didn't.
So we're going to the mall instead!

I've always wanted to meet the Lord Voldemort!

I hate to admit it, but I'm now a HUGE fan of God's Pottery, even if they can be sacreligious. They had to think up as many "Yo Mama" jokes as possible, and there's were the opposite of a good Yo Mama joke, so it was funny.
"Your mother is so pretty, we think she could be a model. We do."
"Your mother is so terrific, she was voted mayor of Awesomeville."
It made Ron G mad, because he'd be like, "Yeah, I made such an awesome joke," and they'd be like, "Yeah, that WAS funny!"
I like how they stole his thunder by turning the other cheek.
In that respect, they have Christian love and understanding down pat.
Whatever, Ron G deserved it. He's a cocky unfunny jerk.
Then they beat Adam Hunter, too, and he was getting just as mad. Sucker. I don't like him, either.
He, Ron G, and Jeff Dye should all be sent home.
Jim Tavare is so big and scary, but he's also pretty hilarious. Gideon Lamb called him "Lord Voldemort", which is actually what he looks like.
Then Jim and Paul started conversing, because they're British, and they had a British fight.
Paul is SO ADORABLE and tells really obscure jokes. He told one about jam tarts that about made me pee my pants. Then he said, "Iliza Schlesinger," really funny, so he could probably win, because he's funny even when he's just saying someone's name.
Sean Cullen is funny, but he sucks at improv. He's so weird and over the top, too. He was the "Knight Beauty Hermaphrodite Queen" or something like that. He did sang a song for Paul Foot that was about "doing a little dance and showing them your pants".
Paul was "the Elephant King" for the photo shoot. It was brilliant.
Nathan thought Papa CJ was ugly, but I think he's cute. He's like a cute, funny Indian Snape.
"They are essentially paying you to bomb them."
Iliza told a hilarious joke about deer haunches. It sent Esther Ku home (YAY!), but it also sent God's Pottery home, which, a week ago, I would NOT have been sad about.
Phew. That's all I have about last night's "Last Comic Standing".
I just downloaded Simple Plan's "Vacation", which made me cry in 7th grade.
Now it's on my ipod. Who knew?
It's only 2:31 long!!! That was a waste of 10 minutes.

No, YOU'RE the bestest!

I've read almost 3 Madison Finns in the past 12 hours. Sort of overloaded on friend drama, boys, phrases like "cooler than cool" and "sweeter than sweet", and IM talk (OMG! DTS?).
"The Baby Borrowers" was good last night, but Luke's mom was such a loser. Sasha got frustrated with the baby, but she didn't hurt him or anything. Sure, she could've dealt with it differently, but Luke's mom was like, "Oh, Luke kept crying, so you didn't do anything right and you obviously weren't trying. You were the worst parents of all."
She obviously hasn't met Daton and Morgan.
So Sasha flipped out and started cussing that mom out and I felt so bad for her. The whole point of the evaluation is to have the parents tell the kids what they did wrong and right and give them CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM and ADVICE for next time. Luke's mom did neither. So my dad was like, "Sasha shouldn't have yelled at her," and I was like, "Didn't you hear ANYTHING the mom even said?" Sure, she shouldn't have yelled either, but she was right to object to the mom's ridiculously unfair judgements.
Austin turns out to be a good dad, even if he doesn't like kids. He put the twins in time out and they told him they were done crying. The parents really liked himm, too. Kelly is SOOOO annoying. He should dump her.
Alicea turned out to be a good mom, too, even after last week, and Isaiah, the kid she had, was SOOOO CUTE. Then Alicea was crying because she missed her mom and Isaiah was like, "She's coming back in a minute. She's just getting ready." It made me cry. Then Isaiah continued to do cute things, like go bowling, jump on the bed, and ask Corey if he was "the best guy".
I get how Morgan feels about her mom and everything, but she was kind of super annoying this time around. She did good with the older daughter, but not so great with Colton, who peed on the couch. And she's sort of a slacker.
I still think Sasha and Jordan are the best couple.
Kelsey and Sean are getting better. Sean is less of a jerk now, and he seems to really bond with all of the kids. Kelsey is so annoying, though. She's really needy and passive and stuff.
Austin is passive, too, which he attributes to his Southern upbringing. Whatever, just tell your girlfriend to shut up. Or dump her.
I just read "Kissing Kate", a book I'd contemplated reading since 6th grade, and it was good (Lauren Myracle's first book, and it was better than all her others), but I just wanted Lissa to get what she wanted. So it wasn't a SAD ending, but it wasn't a fully HAPPY ending, like with Hilary Frank's "I Can't Tell You". The main character was happy, but he hadn't gotten the girl. :(
AAAAH I also found Nick Hornby's "A Long Way Down", which I've been wanting to read since 7th grade when Mrs. Moon reccomended it to us. I really CANNOT wait to read it.
But now I'm on a Harry Potter binge. So far I'm on the second book, which is taking me a while to finish, but I got #'s 4 and 5 at the library in PAPERBACK!! SWEET!!! I wasn't so lucky with #6, but you can't have everything.
I also just read "Unbelievable". I accidentally saw the surprise ending when I was flipping through to find out how many pages were in it, so I knew who A was about halfway through the book. Oh well. It's the best one in the series so far. There were a lot of twists. Sara Shepard might be a LITTLE overrated, but she's definitely a good writer. Who knew Hannah would become human? Aria I think is my favorite, though. I kept cheering for Emily and Maya, but that fell through. :( Then Trista was there for a little while...so it was all very confusing.
It annoys me, though, that Republicans are always rich, white homophobes in those books. Yes, there are SOME like that, but it's such a stereotype and it's pretty offensive to read about. Yes, offensive. They're often sort of "religious", too, and you know what that means. It's just annoying.

Ruffle my hair, Mr. Hanks!

What are some movies that you HAVE to cry during, otherwise you're a horrible person? I could only think of two: "Forrest Gump" and Bruce Willis' "The Kid". But that's just me. Just wondering, because Forrest Gump was on A&E last night, so we watched the last hour and a half. "I miss you, Jenny." Soo sad. Haley Joel Osment wears adorable pants in that movie.
Hurray for online shopping!!!
Harry Potter Sims 2 neighborhood. Tempting, tempting. Don't give in.
"Good Eats" lied. After trying their recipe for puffy cookies, the mounds of dough taste like crap and smell like shortening. Curse you, shortening.
Will you stay here for a while, so I can watch you when you smiiile, I like to think so.
Well, I hope I don't drive you insane, with my big right foot and my unkempt mane. Well, I know you love me the way I am, but I'll change my ways if I think I can.
Hahaha, they sang "Girlfriend" for Marisa Jaret Winokur's jive on "Dancing With the Stars" last night. They changed the lyrics to "everloving princess". You know, rather than "mother-effing princess". Too funny.
I like it better when Avril Lavigne pauses meaningfully, however. "I'm the...princess!!"
You're looking kind of anxious with your back up against the wall, don't this kind of music make you want to move at all?
Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna, gonna do?
WOO!!! Madison Finn #11: Heart to Heart for $.01 + $3.99 shipping!!!
I don't know, say what?

I want to be forever young.

Aaargh I kind of hate that song. Whenever I hear it on Jack or something, I keep thinking of Mormon dances and Napoleon Dynamite.
A snow day!!! I was so convinced it wasn't going to be one (I've stopped looking out my window in case of disappointment). But it was. Yeaaaah.
I shouldn't be this excited, but I'm planning on making a new Sims 2 neighborhood full of Princess Diaries characters. Eeee. Sooo much drama. Only I'm not sure where everyone's going to live, because Mia has a million friends and I don't want to create individual families for all of them. I'm thinking JP, Ling Su, Perin, Lana, Josh, and Tina will all live with Principal Gupta.
At least I'm not making a Harry Potter neighborhood. Where would all the Weasleys live? Although Fred IS dead now, and Percy, Bill, and Charlie no longer live at home....
I just realized that George married Angelina, who I always thought would end up with Fred. Doesn't that make her off limits? No respect for the dead.

Agony enjoys tormenting the nonathletic.

But there's an Ipod on the cover! It must be good!
My little brother's watching "Flight of the Navigator". :P That movie blew my four-year-old mind. IAnd not in a good way.
For the first time this year, I'm really hoping I don't make the basketball team. I'm really doubting that I will anyway (seeing as my legs are still sore from a 2 hour practice; so much for running every day), but that will free up my Tuesdays and Thursdays so I can possibly play with the worship team. Dad said they sometimes have a horn section. Noyce. And they really like bass players? I can sort of only play "The Bitter Uprising" (and barely), but hey.
Do do do do do.
Hm. I was trying to decide which Harry Potter I liked best. So I made a list.
1. The Goblet of Fire
2. The Prisoner of Azkaban
3. The Chamber of Secrets
4. The Sorceror's Stone
5. The Deathly Hallows
6. The Order of the Phoenix
7. The Half-Blood Prince (for some reason I really hated this one)

The Classic Crime's "Albatross" is like my favorite CD right now.

And I thought I needed serious mental help....

O.o
I like how all I ever do now is read Harry Potter, look up Sims 2 videos, and blog.
When I'm not at school, anyways.
AAargh. I want to watch a Harry Potter karaoke party. REALLY BAD.
Hm.
Still trying to convince myself to grow a spine.
Math is pretty amazing.
And I'm pretty sure I passed the science test.
Apparently I'm a Romance Sim. That sort of depresses me.
I'm not sure if I should be worried or laughing....
Dododododododo.
Hey, tomorrow's Thursday.
Crap.

Vans reminiscent of Oggy

EEEE I HAVE NEW SHOES!!! How positively girly of me to say. Whatever. I love them. They're my first pair of Vans: black with pink puppies. And I bought some jeans, so now I actually have stuff to wear. I don't care if it's stereotypical of women or demeaning to our gender, but I love shopping. It's therapuetic. We also bought stuff for my dad. I picked out a shirt AND tie for him, but I really don't think he liked it. Oh well.
Yeah. That's basically all I did today, besides read "The Magician's Nephew" and ravage a package of White Rabbits. I can't wait to wear my new shoes. And jeans. But there was this amazing belt I saw and now I can't find it. It's the phantom belt. I saw that one girl eyeing it enviously as I admired it the last time I was in there. I bet she took it.
Sims 2 Stuff Pack: Teen Style? Looks amazing. I haven't actually created a teen character yet. Or an elder. I'll add one to my brand new neighborhood. I think I'll create a Harry Potter family, but I'm torn: create him as a teen, or create him married to Ginny already with a family? Time will tell, I guess....

It's not "Shining Star", but it's a start.

Happy Christmas, Harry! Happy Christmas, Ron!
Speaking of Harry Potter, I watched the 5th movie recently and it sucked, but I really liked Luna Lovegood and Ron was a hottie.
Still working on my 2007 playlist. There's this one Barlowgirl song I need to add. Also, I'm definitely replacing the Tobymac opening track with a Hannah Montana one. Unfortunately, I did not receive a Hannah CD for Christmas. Darn.
I DID get High School Musical 2: Extended Edition, though. Yeaaaah. We watched it last night and it's pretty much the best movie I've ever seen. That one part with Sharpay STILL makes me cry. Sooo sad. I hate Vanessa Hudgens.
Soooo I'm LOVING my bass. It's all black and beautiful and shiny and there's a small dent in it, but it works GREAT. My amp is bigger than William's, though. He's better at guitar than I am at bass, though. :P I managed to somewhat master sixteenth notes. Its been fun. Maybe by next year I can play in pep band!!
Uh oh, scandalous pajamas!! Comfy, though. I already ate all my Christmas candy.
SWEET, thanks to my dad's diligent help with my quarter collecting over the years and the $10 my grandma gave me for Christmas, I might just go out and BUY that Hannah Montana CD.
So Christmas was good and William is having a semi-fabulous birthday. Actually, Chuck E. Cheese was kind of lame because his friend was being stupid.
But he always has Mario.
Heh, yesterday we were being dumb and singing along to Metallica with our best James Hetfield impressions. Ironically, today is Lars Ulrich's birthday. Hm.

I is blowed away.

IT SNOWED TODAY!!! Lol I love snow so much. I wish it would snow all the time. Is it possible for it to snow and not be cold? But, we live in Washington, so the fairytale was short lived and rain washed a lot of it away, but it snows off and on.
Agh, the library was closed, and I had a Madison Finn book there. CURSES.
Omg, I was so blown away by a book I just read that I decided to make an updated version of my favorite books. Eee, so excited.

1. "Prophecy of the Stones" by Flavia Bujor
Summary: Three girls are each given a magical stone and go on an adventure to fulfill an ancient prophecy.
I don't think as highly of this book as I did in sixth grade, and it's not the most polished piece of writing, but Flavia Bujor has a lot of talent and she wrote this book at the age of 12, I have a lot of respect for an author who makes me cry, and this book made me cry. Also, her parents didn't have to publish it for her, and the material in this book is completely original. *cough cough* CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI! *cough cough*

2. "Watership Down" by Richard Adams
Summary: Two rabbits, Hazel and Fiver, flee certain death with several other rabbits in order to find a place they can truly call "home".
I don't really books from an animal's point of view as much as I did when I was like, what, 6, but this book made me empathize with a bunch of rabbits. I really hated Bluebell, though.

3. "Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging: confessions of Georgia Nicholson" by Louise Rennison
Summary: Presents the journal of 14-year-old Georgia Nicholson, a British teen who desperately wants a smaller nose, new parents, a nicer cat, and a boyfriend - namely Robbie the Sex God.
You also have to respect an author that makes you laugh, and this book is hilarious, along with the rest of the series. Mr. and Mrs. Next Door are my new best friends.

4. "Bad Kitty" by Michele Jaffe
Summary: While staying at the Venetian hotel, forensics-obsessed Jas stumbles upon a murder mystery and proceeds to solve it with the help of her friends and bratty cousin.
I read it again this summer and it's just as hilarious as it was the first time.

5. "Hawksong" by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Summary: Danica, a girl who can shapeshift into a hawk, and Zane, a boy who can shapeshift into a snake, reluctantly marry in order to restore peace between their peoples.
I read this book for the first time today and it blew me away. And the author was 19 WENT SHE WROTE THIS?? This book is sort of an anti-Irag allegory, but it's SOOOO GOOOD. And there's 4 MORE IN THE SERIES!!! SWEEET!!

6. "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone" by J. K. Rowling
Summary: Harry Potter discovers his true destiny when it is revealed that he is actually a wizard.
How can you NOT love this book? My favorite part is when they talk about candy. This book was really that sad, but #5, #6, and #7 made me cry.

7. "P. S. Longer Letter Later" by Paula Danziger and Anne M. Martin
Summary: Tara*Starr and Elizabeth struggle to stay friends through snail mail after Tara's move to Ohio.
I first read this book in 3rd grade, and I don't understand how I could like it so much if Anne M. Martin was one of the authors, but it gets better every time. It's sequel "Snail Mail No More" is just as excellent.

I can't think of anymore. Dang. I'll probably wake up in the middle of the night and remember something. More tomorrow, possibly.
