Could I be different, too?

Nobody knows you, nobody knows you like I do.
"Lagaan" sucks. Surprise! Bollywood musical! But everyone who's seen it has apparently loved it.
The dialogue is awful, and the acting isn't much better.
:P
But "La Belle et La Bete" is pretty fantastic, for a 40's fantasy movie.
The special effects are cheesy, but kind of cool.
Except for the faces on the mantle. And the bed covers that pull back by themselves.
Just about peed my pants watching those.
The Beast is kind of a creeper, but not as much as Avenant, who practically rapes Belle in the first 5 minutes.
If she says no, it's rape!
But he apparently doesn't care.
Luckily, Ludovic walked in.
Ludovic is sort of an awful person, but a nice brother. At least to Belle.
But he tells Avenant to slap his other sister (who's crazy), so Avenant does, and then he gets all mad and is like, "HOW COULD YOU SLAP MY SISTER? WHAT IS IT WITH YOU AND MY FAMILY!? NEVER TOUCH HER AGAIN! EVEN THOUGH I DON'T LIKE HER AND SORT OF WANT HER TO DIE ANYWAY!!!"
Okay.
A bunch of people are doing Running Start next year, which is a waste of time, but I can't stop them, which I want to, because it's a waste of time and other such things.
But I guess I can't stop them.
But one of my friends keeps asserting that NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE and that we'll still hang out ALL THE TIME and she'll GO TO PROM and everything.
But it won't be the same, and she refuses to see that, but I can't TELL HER THAT.
And she acts like I'm challenging her decision ALL THE TIME, but I haven't said anything, because she's doing it no matter what I say, so why bother?
We have new seats in English, and they suck.
Terribly.
Because all the annoying people gravitated to the same spot.
And just have fascinating conversations.

Where did THOSE puppies come from?

FRIDAY!!!
I love Fridays.
The day started off sort of depressingly, but it got better, so I can't complain.
"Romeo and Juliet" is so cool!!! I like how they can't keep their hands off each other. Hormones, anyone? But Juliet was totally flat-chested in one scene, then in the balcony scene, she was wearing a Victoria's Secret-esque nightgown WITH MAJOR CLEAVAGE! We were all like, "Whoa, where did THOSE come from?"
Mercutio is the BOMB! He attacks the Nurse, takes a dip in the fountain, and walks around with a cloth over his face going, "Bla bla bla bla bla bla."
It's pretty hilarious.
Only 15 minutes of science class! I missed the rest!
Band is too cool. Mr. Faxon turned on "We Like to Party (The Vengabus)" and we had this major dance party.
Well, all the nerdy white kids did, anyway.
And some of the nerdy half-white kids.
The pep assembly was too cool. We got to do our marching routines - including the dance party!!! Mr. Faxon made me do it without shoes (???) but that's okay, I guess. Except my feet sweat. And everyone totally loved it.
I love the Banana song!!!!

Your Body's Element is Air

You are competitive, assertive, and dominant.

You live to win, and it really makes you angry if you lose.

You are brilliant and competent. No matter what you're doing, you now your stuff.

People tend to be intimidated by your intelligence. It's hard to measure up to you.

Your energy tends to be: ebbing and flowing

Your power color is: white

Psh. Screw white.
Wait, that's freshmen color.
Freshmen won today - AGAIN!!! I can't believe we won all our pep assemblies!! The sevvies and 8th graders almost booed Mr. Barry off the floor. It's not his fault.
The game was pretty retarded, though. Oh well. We won.
It's sort of ridiculous to be required to go to practice every day when all of your track meets are over.
I'm not going to Districts and I'm not in 7th or 8th grade. WHY BOTHER??
And it was like 80 degrees today!!! Too hot to run.
But not too hot to tan.
Coach's kids are so cute!!!

What Your Taste in Music Says About You

Your musical tastes are intense and rebellious.

You are intelligent... but in a very unconventional way.

You are curious about the world. You love doing something new.

In fact, you enjoy taking risks and doing things most people would shy away from.

You are very physical. It's likely that you're athletic, but not into team sports.

You have the soul of an artist. Beauty and harmony are important to you.

Time for dinner. That sounds like a chicken....
I swear, someone is "bokking" upstairs!!!

Your Independence Level: High

You are extremely self reliant and autonomous.

You are definitely into doing your own thing.

But you also wouldn't turn down help if you needed it.

You follow your own path, but you don't do so blindly.

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone

"God Wants You to Shine" was pretty spectacular. The creepy drummer guy tries to rape Faith in a bathroom, but she runs away and her little brother protects her. It was so sweet. Then later he (the brother) gives her his autographed Yankees baseball and is all, "Whenever you look at that baseball, I want you to know I've got your back."
But she gives it back and he gleefully accepts it.
Nellie is still a horrible friend, but then she realizes that what goes on between Faith and Niles is NONE OF HER BUSINESS, and then she gets burned big time by Ethan, so Faith stays friends with her.
They adopt Faith's cousin Belle, too, because her mom got in a car accident, like in "Raising Helen" (only unlike that movie, the mom doesn't die...and they never say what happened to the dad). But they seperate Belle from her brothers...what's up with that?
INFP.
Anyways, NILES!!!!!! He just randomly comes up to Faith one day and is all, "Well, I'm going to be honest with you. I really like you. I think about you all the time. I know all of your schedule, and show up all the time in the halls."
!!!!!!!!!!!
Kind of creepy, but what teenage guy would have the balls to say that to someone's FACE?
But Faith is like, "Well, I want to still be friends with Nellie, so I can't be with you." Then she runs away.
But later, she's like, "Niles, are you dating anyone else, because I'm sort of in love with you," and Niles is all, "Sweet!!"
But they're not going out or anything.
Yet.
Faith is KIND of a Christy Miller, but a lot better and more relatable.
And she's not dating a surfer named Todd, thank goodness.
Yeah, that's how I spent my morning.
There was an article in Christianity Today that was like, "How do we save Christian bookstores? Stop making them so religious!"
So true.

7 points

A mere 7 points. Oh well. It was a good game, and I actually got to play. Coach took me out rather early, *ahem*, but it gave me a chance to drink some well deserved Gatorade.
Gah. He also lied about Oakland Bay being on Columbia Street.
OMG, I won the Nervous Game!! I didn't even have to touch anybody.
Ew, The Monkees?
I don't know the French word for bucket.
Ou est le bucket???
La bucket???
How do you say the food is good? Le repas est tres sympa?
Chinese Food and lasagna. Mmm, sounds good.

And the cellos were playing, too

Ah yes. Math test tomorrow. I understand most everything. Hopefully I won't fail.
Do do do. Band concert tomorrow. Aaargh, we were doing really amazing at "Electricity", but we picked today to suddenly suck. Grrr. I hate flashlights. A lot. I saw this really cool recording of "Electricity" being played by a Singapore band, but there was like 50 people in that band and they were really good, so I felt like crap. :P
Do do do. Tyler was playing the cello? Amanda was emo/nerd with gangsta suspenders and a cool sweatshirt.
I realized I get nervous at just about everything, so that's probably why I'm really bad at "Are You Nervous?".
Pony Pals are taking forever, but I do have some Madison Finns in. Maybe after I'm done with that AND Pony Pals, I'll do "Avalon", seeing as that series really let me down.
WHAT??? They don't have the Halloween one? No way, I totally checked it out like 2 years ago!!! Probably 3. Can't remember. AAARGH! I KNOW THEY HAVE "CAUGHT IN THE WEB"! How come these girls are in 7th grade and Ivy looks like a 21-year-old supermodel on drugs???
I'm so addicted to "Monk". I just finished the first season and am anxiously waiting the 2nd, but it will probably be about a year before I ever see it because my library *cough cough* SUCKS *cough cough*. Seriously, my mom requested "The Cosby Show" season 2 in like January.
Ooooh, I requested that it be rushed. Is that mean? Eh.
"Baby Elephant Walk" is driving me insane.

Friday, October 26, 2007

Do it right this time. *pause* Okay, I messed up.

I love this CD. So cool.
Aaaargh someone stole Tim's book and my book journal yesterday, only it turned out Tyler took Tim's book, but I CAN'T FIND MY BOOK JOURNAL! I had it in the library on top of my stuff and it was NOT there when I went to get it again. Not my fault, though. We could only take a pencil and had to put all our crap on the shelves. :P Oh well. I could always get a new one, but I want to show off my 5/5 on most of my writing assignments.
I'm addicted to "Monk". It's way cool. I'm trying to get my Mom hooked on "Psyche", but we don't get that channel. Aaargh. There's always the library. Yeah right.
Speaking of libraries, the librarian gave me this book that I have no memory of ever holding, and if I did, it was a LOOOONG time ago. Like 7th grade. Kind of odd. But it had my name on it. Weird.
Heh. Science was so cool. I threw a ruler at Drake. But then Mr. Campbell lectured us both about assault. Well, he shouldn't be hitting my nose then.
Jesse needs to time right. Our times were way off. Forget acceleration.
Aaaagh our practice for "Electricity" was so cool. Only I didn't get a stand light. Because they didn't want to plug mine in. Ouch. Kevin, Robert, and I were playing our little band game "Are You Nervous?" It's so awkward and probably illegal and it could be counted as assault to Mr. Campbell, but it's fun in a weird, perverted way. Kevin's really good at it when he's playing with a girl. Interesting.
Math was pretty cool, too. I got Tyler in trouble, but other than that.... Connor had tape on his forehead?
I love crossword puzzles.
I love Fridays.
I WANT A DOG.
And some Fritos.
And some chocolate chip cookies.
I'm almost on chapter 4 in the French book. I don't want to finish this book before the end of the year, but this is ridiculous. I also did all the work up to chapter 4 in the workbook. I'm such a nerd. I had to review chapter 3 today, and it made more sense. Maybe I should review chapters 1-3 and all will be well.
Uh oh. If we aren't to chapter 3 by November 6 I'm reading the end of the book. This is too slow for me.
First lunch today. That was pretty fun. Why is everyone I know in first lunch? Band should have first lunch. Only I'm pretty sure that's hazardous to your instrument.

Kind of makes you feel a little dirty, don't it?

Aaaah. Science. Creepy things. I don't even want to talk about them. But they really make you want to take a nice, long, cold shower. Ewwww I feel so unclean.
I saw Coach Cline in 5th period. She was subbing for art.
I kind of messed up on a printing job. I felt really stupid, and I didn't exactly get comfort, but I'm kind of glad I'm not being coddled. I just like that word. Coddled. It was STUPID, tho.
Then I bought rice for Mrs. Preecha.
Band, we got a new piece that we're borrowing from one of the high schools. Because Mr. Faxon didn't want to buy it. I hit a high G 4 times!
Tyler has really gross hair. I'm trying to decide who he looks more like, a blonde Fabio or Cary Elwes.
I PASSED THE MATH QUIZ! 100%! But I can't do the homework. So I'll just not do it....
Today didn't feel like a Thursday. And it still doesn't. I LOVE THURSDAYS!
Yes, another good day.
I'm pretty sure I passed the vocab quiz. I didn't study at all, but Chelsea lent me her notes.
FRENCH IS AWESOME! I read ahead about 15 pages in the French book and I understood ALL OF IT! But then I got into the next chapter and I didn't get it at all. Heh. I have an affinity.
You Could Not Be a Vampire

Sorry, but you're not just cut out for flesh eating, turning into a bat, and living forever.
But that's okay. The sight of blood turns your stomach... without even thinking of drinking it.
And while you definitely would never be a vampire, you're exactly the type of frail prey Dracula wannabe's crave.
Maybe it's time to arm yourself with a cross and some nasty garlic breath!

What you would like best about being a vampire: The raw power (though you wouldn't admit it to anyone)

What you would like least about being a vampire: The whole killing thing

Darn.
BOO STEPHENIE MEYER!
I'm sorry, but I honestly can't stand her. And I don't see why everyone loves her so much.

Tuesday, September 25, 2007

I sing the blues and swallow them, too

I was just told to fly free about 8 times. Right. Mmm, tasty White Rabbits.
"Othello" was way depressing. Othello gets all mad when he thinks Desdemona and Cassio are having an affair and calls her a whore a bunch of times, then smothers her with a pillow. Then Iago kills Emilia, so he gets arrested, but Othello goes all emo because he has no title and no wife and kills himself. Yeah. So much for APness. But I want to read this one book...I forgot what it was called, but the description read: A man finds out his mistress of 20 years is not only a man, but a Communist spy.
LOL! I think that would really suck to find out your girlfriend/lover/wife was a man. Kind of like in "The Ring". But she was a hermaphrodite. Oops. I think we were talking about that last year in math: "Guess what honey...I'm a man." Last year = amazing. I miss all the 9th graders. Only they're 10th graders... Yeah.
Math this year is pretty good, only I really suck at it.
I want a Snow Puff. Cookie. Pie. Thing.
Gracie's on Animal Crossing today!
We had our first ASB Reps meeting today. I was so glad I didn't have to run this one, but then it turned out it was super easy and Mr. Barry was just robbing me of some practice. Grrrr...
ST. PATRICK'S DAY DANCE! I personally think that would be ballin'. Because Ireland rocks my pants off.
Heh. Speaking of dancing.... *does the old man dance*
Picture me...on a stage...performing a monologue from Shakespeare's "King Lear" (or something of the sort)...and two old men walk on the stage...and start dancing...can you see this? Because I can see it really clearly. And it never really happened.
I feel like playing Animal Crossing. Or reading my book.
OMGEEZ I finished "School's Out - Forever" yesterday. Aaaargh, Max and Fang didn't hook up yet. I hope that Sam character doesn't come back. I'm hoping he was just one person that barely impacted her life and now she will never see him again. I hope, anyways. And what was with the Max clone??? I hope she doesn't come back. Angel got really annoying in this book. Total was kind of annoying. Fang even became annoying. I like Iggy, tho. He's cool. Gasman makes me really angry. And Ari is a creepfacepants.

4 MORE YEARS! 4 MORE YEARS!

Ugly Duckling joke. Yeah.
I love school. And Thursdays. Both make me so happy. And I finished my science homework!!! Heeehe. Mr. Campbell is ballin. His son was president. At school. That's what reminded me of "4 more years".
Office was crazy today. The same person called like 6 times. It was annoying. But I love lunch on Thursdays. All my friends are in it, practically. Only Connor wasn't there, so Dakota and I made pushing Paul off the falcon foot a team effort.
French, we had to watch a video. It was way boring and the narrator had a weird voice. They kept showing random French couples making out and talked about Princess Grace the whole time. WHO WASN'T EVEN FRENCH.
I did a dance for Jessica. She got it video taped. Hopefully it won't end up on Youtube. Just picture me singing "Ladies Choice" with suggestive hand motions. Especially on...never mind.
These pants are way short.
And I'm your man, and you're my girl, and I'm the sea, and you're the pearl, it takes twoooo, baby. It takes twoooooo.
Zac Efron. Heh. Every time Amanda and I got to library to read about Zac Efron, someone has checked the magazine out, and then when I'm there alone it's back.
Frosting sandwhiches = amazing. Almost as good as bacon sandwhiches. Faaaantastic.
Band rules. AND I CAN PLAY IN THE PEP ASSEMBLY! YAAAAY!

Saturday, September 08, 2007

I'm sure that's hot and all, but...

You would think the only thing I would want was to watch Usher dance and do the splits repeatedly on television. But really, it's not worth it.
I was watching this weird special called "Fashion Rocks", where they'd show fashion people drool over their own clothing, and then a bunch of celebrities would introduce lame music groups. Avril Lavigne, I hate to admit, is really good, and I like her better live than on CD, but, to quote "Girlfriend", she could do so much better. I liked her before when she was less profane and stuff. Now she's really annoying. But I loved her outfit. And her hair.
Maroon 5 performed, but they didn't do "Makes Me Wonder". They did the song about killing his girlfriend's lover. I was like, ":O" when listening to it. It was pretty shocking. "Now I gotta shoot him dead." And then they did another song and I was like, "WAAAAAAAAAAH YES, 'MAKES ME WONDER'!" but it was this oldies song.
Usher and Mary J. Blige performed together and it was really good. I think Usher should quit writing his own songs and just sing older songs, like "Respect" and stuff. He has a good voice, but he takes himself way seriously. And he can't dance. I was laughing the whole time. Then he stopped dancing and it was all good. Mary J. Blige had a hard time walking on stage. Her platforms were too high. Serves you right.
J LO performed. Aaargh, she's good, too, she's just...let's not go there. But all her songs were about sex, it's like, "Okay, I get it, he can do it do it well."
HA I paid off all my debt on "Animal Crossing". On BOTH GAMES. Nice. So now it's like...what do I do? One of my favorite people moved, tho. We got a faceless bunny, instead. She better not move.

Ciao, Thomas! A tuet a l'heure!!!

I LOVE FRENCH SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! Only I's pretty bad at cognates so whenever I guess I'm almost always wrong. I mean, lecon is obviously lesson, but I didn't know that.
So yesterday's second day was pretty good. We had to do an assembly for the ninth graders, tho, which REALLY SUCKED. It was pretty intimidating. All my peers staring back at me. Some glaring. Sorry. Not really. I'd be very surprised if any of them understood me, I was reading so fast.
But today we had a seventh grade assembly. It was GREAT. Well, greatish. The Banana song went well, but we didn't get to sing the verse about mullets.
Lol. Shoulder rubs. I don't know why that's funny.
Third day was pretty sweet. We're actually working. In science that's not so great. Mr. Campbell's not too bad, but he gives a lot of work and I didn't write my name on my paper, so he waited for like 10 minutes for me to get a pencil. Only I only had pens. Oops.
I think my Scantron might get rejected. Ooops.
Two blonde people. Camera. That's supposed to be me. Laughing hard.
I'm actually laughing at everything right now.
Weird, I clicked on fall out boy! Psychic...
I luuuurve the courtyard. So far me, Amanda, Kevin, Sarah, Alexis, Jessica, Amby Paul, Kenny, Connor, and sometimes Matt have eaten out there every day. It's great.
Mr. Caley launched into a long lecture about how French kids don't date when I said the boy and the girl in the picture were dating. I mean, come on, they could have been friends, but I just ASSUMED they had it bad for each other. And Mr. Caley said they were BROTHER AND SISTER. Right, the girl was Vietnamese and the guy was white. I know there's adoption, but IT'S A PICTURE. Unless you KNOW the people, HOW ARE YOU GOING TO KNOW??? But Mr. Caley went on to talk about how people our age shouldn't date because it's practically sexist and the girl becomes her boyfriend's property. Which is, um...sort of true. And he asked me, who has never had a boyfriend, what my boyfriend would do if I talked to another boy. I was like, "He would punch him in the nuts...I mean, stomach." "You're right! He wouldn't like it!" Phew. Apparently French kids group date, but everyone pays their own way. WHY AM I FINE WITH THIS??? THIS IS WHY I SHOULD'VE BEEN BORN FRENCH!!!! Northern Europe sucks.
I got to leave science early. Ha ha ha. Mr. Campbell and I have the same binder. Ha ha ha. I would've gotten an A if I'd said something about it earlier. Ha ha...crap.
Old school Evanescence. You know, I really like "The Open Door", but "Fallen" is sort of better. I don't know. I think Amy's voice is better on "Fallen", but the music is pretty sweet on "The Open Door".
Do do do do.
Band is less ridiculous. I FORGOT MY MUSIC AT HOME! Dang. My syllabus is due. BAND COUNCIL NOMINATIONS! How fun. I wonder what Kevin got...

Tuesday, September 04, 2007

Evangelic...Angelic...awwww

I just bothered my mom a whole lot by singing loudly to "X 2004". LOL, like pretty much the best CD ever. It started with "Rawkfist" where I imitated Trevor McNeevan, but after "Landslide" by Seven Places, I knew there was nothing but crappy songs left, ending with the fabulous "Livin' It" by the Cross Movement. AAAAAGH I hate that song so much.
WE LIVE FO DIS, WE DIE FO DIS, WE CRY FO DIS, COME ALIVE FO DIS, WITH THIS HOLE IN YOUR SOUL, HOLE IN YOUR SOUL, HOLE IN YOUR SOLE!!!
Those probably aren't right, but AAAARGH I hate that song SO MUCH. It's annoying and repetitive and like 5 minutes of crap.
And the music video is all the guys in that stupid group bouncing Gangsta like. You know, that thing that gangstas do that when I try to replicate I get shot. Maybe because my clothes aren't baggy enough. Oh, and I'm white. That alone is a reason to shoot me. And because I'm me. But I haven't done it recently (except in my own home), so none of y'all are allowed to shoot me.
IT'S LIVING IN ALL OF US, AND IT'S BROUGHT US HERE BECAUSE YOUUU ARE THE MUSIC IN ME!
Hate Gabriella. And her sexy scandal.
Na na na na, oh yeah, na na na na, yeah yeah yeah, YOU ARE THE MUSIC IN ME.
Yeah.
OMGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ! So do any of y'all watch "Hannah Montana" Cuz you should. You know my feelings on Miley Cyrus, but that show is riDUCKulously fun to watch. Uh yeah, remember Jackson? Creepy older brother? Guess how old he really is?
19? No.
24? No.
29? Closer.
30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THAT IS SO SCARY!!!!!! HE'S ACTUALLY 30 YEARS OLD!!!!! He's like 16 years younger than BILLY RAY CYRUS! HE COULD BE BILLY'S YOUNGER BROTHER!
I found that out yesterday and it really grossed me out. Like badly.
I have no idea why this brings me pleasure. I need a new hobby.
But I already made cupcakes and I'm reading a really depressing book on body image. It's not even non fiction. Bad.
SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW! Amanda is my locker partner, I have to find an appropriate locker decorating thingy, and I need my schedule. Even tho I already have mine memorized.
First period French. Second period math. Third period Pre-AP English. Fourth period Advanced Band. Fifth period (groan) OFFICE ASSISTANT. Sixth period science. Right. Got it.
I actually like "Fabulous" better than "I Don't Dance" now. I'm ranking them. Because this is my blog, I feel like it, and you can move on if you so deem it necessary.
Forget songs from #1. That movie is NOT WORTHY. Pretty much.
1. Fabulous
2. I Don't Dance
3. Work This Out
4. *toughie...* What Time Is It
5. You Are the Music In Me (Sharpay version)
6. Gotta Go My Own Way
7. Bet On It
8. You Are the Music In Me
9. Humuhumunukunukuapua'a (yes, I know how to spell it)
10. All For One (HATE THIS SONG)
11. Everyday (HATE THIS SONG MORE)
Heh. I think I like ranking.

Monday, September 03, 2007

It was Sharpay, not me.

I'm actually REAAAAAAAAALLY bored so I'll just blog for now.
What's this? Zac and Vanessa caught up in a sex movie scandal????
That's what my grandma said anyways. Apparently Vanessa made a movie for Zac...alone...in her bedroom...in front of her mirror....WITHOUT ANY CLOTHES ON!!!
Shocking, I know.
Loving that buildup, lol.
But Zac's getting blamed? I highly doubt he called her up and was like, "Hey sexy, wanna make me a video of you? Alone? In your bedroom? In front of your mirror? Without clothes on?"
YOU COULD DO SO MUCH BETTER.
I have no idea why this is affecting my life so greatly.
Maybe because I hated Gabriella, and her breathy innocence, and her cartoon character singing voice (although I am so jealous of her range and her crazy dance moves), and this is like not a very Gabriella thing to do.
Lol. I just reread that.
She should just change her name to Gabriella and pretend to be her all the time.
Heh. Singing to Fall Out Boy is fun. Especially when you pretend to be Patrick Stump. I don't know why...but it's tickling my funny bone. Heh.
Yeah. I think we've covered everything...
Only in America.

Sunday, September 02, 2007

Heh heh heh

I'm not actually supposed to be on the computer right now, but I want to get some pent up feelings out. Cuz I can. Yeah. Hehehehehehe.
And cuz I'm random. And stupid.
Must be the estrogen talking.
Girls have testosterone? Not like testicles full but just a little. IT WAS ON "TEEN DREAMS", IT MUST BE TRUE!!! GAAH!
Yeah.
Eh, I would ask that question, but that might lead to other questions that others will definitely think.
I totally feel like listening to a Simple Plan song right now. It would make me happy.
Hm hm hm.
Heh. My dad finally finished Harry Potter 6, but had a stint where he refused to read the rest after Dumbledore died "because he was in shock".
I guess that's his way of dealing wif it. I just cried my eyeballs out, even though 5 million people ruined the ending for me already.
That reminds me of that stupid "Prophecy of the Stones" book I used to be obsessed with. At the time I thought it was great, but now that I think about it, it was just another 14-year-old writing a story. Seriously, that book was written by a French 14-year-old. Dang. That makes me feel inadequate.
But I cried my eyeballs during that book.
....and then they didn't die.
So my tears were wasted.
But I totally thought Jade should've died...in a random shooting event.
Speaking of books, I finished the last Ashley Stockingdale novel. I was glad about some things, mad about others. It was just...eh. MWAHAHAHAHA SETH IS NO MORE! ...sort of. He married some pregnant chick. Raaaandom... And we thought he couldn't commit.
Oh rats, I spoiled the ending. Oops.
Aaaargh my veins are bubbling. Let it all out. I'll just yell at myself for now. YOU ARE DUMB! DUMB DUMB DUMB! And scene...
They say history repeats itself. I wonder if everyone in history is this dumb...
Hm hm hm.
Everybody stabs you in the back...and I forgot the rest of the words.
Welcome to my life...

Let me get this straight...

So Matt likes to see Michael Jackson dance, no, PERFORM, at a distance.
Ooer.
Kara has amazing pickup lines.
"If you were a booger, I'd totally pick you."
I'd mess it up and or start laughing. "Are you a booger? Because... Crap. WAIT, COME BACK, I MESSED UP!"
Lol. Clive...
"I bet I can kiss you without touching your lips. *the obvious ensues* That was worth every penny."
"I bet I can punch you without touching your face. *punches in the balls* I guess you owe me $40 now."
YEAH.
Hmmmmm hahahaha.
This mood ring might be a fluke, but it's still pretty.
It says I am neutral.
What is it, Put-Lauren-Through-Emotional-Trauma day???
Let's have ice cream!
Knowing my father, I'll never get to watch Harry Potter.

And the party never has to stop.

YAY that was pretty amazingly envigorating, kids.
And this quiz felt pretty appropriate.
You Are a Log Ride

You prefer to live a fairly calm, relaxed life... with a few surprises thrown in.
You don't tend to get yourself worked up easily. You can roll with what life throws at you.
In relationships, you are steady and solid. You maintain a pretty broad perspective on what's going on.
That's not to say you can't get swept away. You're emotions run as deep as anyone else's.

Your life seems like it has been remarkably easy so far. But that's due to how you manage it.
You never stretch yourself too thinly, and you think out your decisions carefully.
Taking the time to enjoy each day is important to you, and you don't let your emotions rule you.
You stay the course and do what's right... knowing it will all work out in the end.

At your best, you are tolerant and understanding of other people's quirks.
You take "go with the flow" to the extreme. Even if you don't like where you're going.
At your worst, you repress your feelings and end up being a little tightly wound.
You definitely have some explosive emotions that occasionally come to the surface!

Wow, that was fairly accurate. The whole "at your worst thing" anyway.
Yeah. Pretty crazy.
Let's just save I love fairs. Carnivals. Whatever.
There were a million 4-H animals. Especially horses. :) We watched Emily's friend pwn in the halter/showmanship thingy. Patriot was so beautiful. She ended up getting second in her first show. There were so many paints, it was craaaaazy.
I loved the rabbits, but realized Luke would never ever ever be a show animal. It was slightly depressing. He wouldn't sit on the table with a nice posture, and he'd sweat and his nails would be discolored. But kind of funny, because he'd probably attack the judge.
My nose is all sunburned. I watched a really stupid hypnosis presentation. Some old guy made out with his wife and stuffed napkins down his pants and did a tap dance. The mood ring I bought it sort of a fluke, I guess, because the whole time it said I was in love or having wild sex. When I got mad at it, it turned blue green, which means relaxed. Bull. But it looks nice. It's a little star.
Hm. So I married Oliver Wood. And we had a kid named Christopher Oliver Wood. Personally, I like the name Michael better.
Dang. Athena and Destiny are like the best girl's names ever. Pretty much, yo.
Lol. We only went on three rides. Hangliders is amazing. I hope we get to fly in heaven. Either that or play Quidditch, because I would pretty much be the best Quidditch player ever. On the Ferris Wheel, I was watching two little kids and they kept saying, "Oh no, we'll get stuck here forever and die!" It was pretty amusing. The Octopus was cool and only a little painful. My head still hurts.

Confessions of a Grade-A nerd

Hehehe. I was bored. HEY, James Phelps AND Garrett Hedlund are over 6 feet!!!!! This is amazing! Only Garrett's trademark is his "deep voice". Um, right.
Oooookay. WHY ARE ALL THESE GRYFFINDORS HOOKING UP WITH SLYTHERINS???
I need to read some books. And take off these shorts.
Dodododo.
Let's see, do I have any actual confessions....
Oh, yes, this one is shocking.

1. I think the guy who plays Goyle is, um, not ugly?
Figure that out.
Hahahaha. I still managed to make it Harry Potter related.
I suck. I don't actually have a point to this post. Lalalalala.

Lauren's Conversation with her mind

Mind: So, how do you feel?
Me: .... About...what???
Mind: You know...
Me: .... Um, no.
Mind: You're just avoiding the question. This signifies low self esteem.
Me: Shut up. I do not have low self esteem.
Mind: Aw, do you want to talk about your complicated love life?
Me: WHAT???
Mind: Just a suggestion.
Me: I don't have a complicated love life. I don't even have a love life.
Mind: Are you sure? Isn't that what you've been fussing over all this time?
Me: Uh...no.
Mind: Wait. How come, if I'm your mind, I have no idea what's going on in...myself.
Me: I have no idea.
Mind: ....
Me: ....

Yeah.
MORE QUIZZES!
You Were Pretty Average This Year

You Were 45% Naughty, 55% Nice

You tried to be a good girl this year...
But as you know, being good isn't that fun!
If you're extra sweet, you may have enough time to get on that nice list.

I read "Jake Riley: Irreparably Damaged" last night. That was a weird book. I was pretty sure it was about an abusive boyfriend, but I was wrong.
You Should Be a Fiery Redhead

Bold, head turning, and sure to show off your skin and eyes.

It was actually about a slightly perverted (okay, really perverted) kid who went to juvie and he's friends with this farm girl, and within the first three pages he's taking off her shirt. :o It was like, "Um, right. What's going on?" And the rest was really perverted as well.
Why is showing a girl porn and suggesting, "We could do that together," romantic???
Your Inner Eye Color Is Blue

You've got the personality of a blue eyed women
You're intense and expressive - and always on the go
You've also got a sweet, playful side - which draws men in

Boring eyes.
Wha??? There were some new quizzes...and now they're gone. They'll probably be there tomorrow. YAY, they're BACK!
I kind of liked Jake, tho. Except he made it sound like he'd experienced gay rape and I was all, "Man, that SUCKS," but it turns out he was into the gay sex experience. :P The whole sympathy thing sort of went out the window. But he kept being all, "I'm not gay, because I'd like to try girls," but he still likes gay sex. It kept him going in reform school. Please excuse my vomit.
And he was convicted of manslaughter, not murder. Silly Lainey. But it was kind of creepy because it was like 11:30 at night and Jake kept climbing on the roof in the book and watching Lainey sleep WHILST HOLDING A GUN.
VBS was pretty fun. We played a game where the kids would throw nerf balls and crumpled up aluminum foil at each other and the one with the least balls on their side would win. Yeah, I know, there are so many jokes I could make out of that. Ahem. Matt.
You Should Honeymoon in Mexico!

After planning your wedding, all you want to do is relax
No busy honeymoon for you. You'll take a warm beach and a cool cocktail.
Plus, you can stay in a super swank hotel for cheap
And discover that there's little better than a pool with a built in bar!

Suggested destinations: Cancun, Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas, Cozumel

Do I really want to go to Mexico??? I heard it's overrated. Especially Cancun.
I'm *shuffle shuffle shuffle* LAUREN!
Yeah.
NO PIPPIN DON'T DO IT!
Pippin: *screws over the whole company*
Gandalf: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I love Miss Popularity. Free game sucks.
MORE QUIZZES!
I just realized the "Robert" on my favorite music blog might very well be BOB SMITHOUSER, which isn't bad, but I have dissed him several times on my blog. Let's just hope he never reads it. I do like his stance on music on his blog though, because he actually GETS IT. He doesn't listen purely to Christian music and he knows that just because music might be profane or sexual doesn't mean it isn't good, which I'm cool with. I don't know, maybe it's just his movie thing. >:P I'll ask him.
Lol, a quiz about alcohol. I don't drink, but I'll take it anyways.
Lol. "Keep partying, but as always, know when you've hit your limit!"
You Don't Drink Too Much

Looks like you're a social drinker, at worst!
Keep partying, but as always, know when you've hit your limit.

Hehehehe. I don't know, when I'm 21, that Mike's Hard Lemonade looks pretty good.
Do men think I'm a good date? This is the question I ask myself as I lie in bed, alone in the dark, crying myself to sleep because NO ONE LOVES ME.
Hahahahaha. Sooooo emo.
No, I don't actually ask myself that question. I have much better things to think about, or try not to think about.
Methinks I'm a bad date...
Ooooh, a pretty good date.
Self esteem levels: *rise*
Yeah, really.
You Are A Pretty Good Date!

You're kind, considerate, and usually a great date
Occasionally, you slip up - but who doesn't?
Just make sure to keep everything light and friendly
And you'll be asked out again in no time

Blah, some of these look dumb and....dumb. Mostly relationship crap. "Who wears the pants? Who wears the pants?"
2 more.
It looks like a book! Don't ask.
Gross. I don't want to smell like jasmines. Or sandalwood. Who DOES want to smell like sandalwood??? Rose = sex appeal. Well, I just switched shampoos and bought rose hip scented Herbal Essences. That should make them happy.
PEPPERMINTS = FAVE!
Your Fragrance Profile

The best calming fragrance: jasmine
The best fragrance for everyday wear: sandalwood
The best fragrance to boost your sex appeal: rose
The best fragrance for energy: peppermint

I think this was from "321 Penguins": One more! One more! One more! One more!
Hahaha. This quiz should be good.
Oh no! Imaginary Guy and I are TOAST!!
You Would Not Pick Your Boyfriend Again!

When you and your boyfriend first met, things were different.
And now that the initial chemistry has worn off, you're finding that he's not right for you.
As much as it hurts, you know that you need to let him go - and find someone worthy of your love.
The good news is, you can be happier. You just have to make it happen.

Hahahaha. Ouch. I just dumped an imaginary person.

Unfortunately, I feel great.

How come I had sucky dreams last night and really good dreams the night before? I mean, last night, all I dreamed about was seeing various people from school at the library and I got a J. K. Rowling book called "The Ticking Time Bomb", which I found very ironic.
But the night before was cool. Only weird thing was the all white ghetto??? Man, even my dreams are racist. I'm going to get sent to racist prison, even though I'm not. I just happen to like being white, but not like I'm all for killing "the blacks, fags, etc." Yeah, KKK equals ridiculous.
But yeah. There was a pretty sweet school. It was like an airport. Yeaah. How come whenever I dream about school I wake up crying because it's so much cooler than my own. And I saw Mr. Johnson and he screamed and ran away so I chased him down the elevator (ELEVATOR!) and yeah.
The last part would've made the fuzzies happy. Heck, it made me happy. No, it was not pornographic in any way, shape, or form.
School was boring. I finished the second unit but I didn't want to take a test so I had to read about stupid salmon fishing for like 20 minutes. WHO EVEN CARES? When I signed out, I almost put 10:17 PM just to see what would happen. It would mean I would never have to go to school again, but school ends at 1:00, so I doubt they would believe I'd been there for 13+ hours.
I just realized I've never heard "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More 'Touch Me'" and I've been calling "Get Busy Living..." that (and "XO" "Get Busy Living...") for quite a while. So dumb. But the "A Little Less Sixteen Candles..." video was weird. How come Joe and Patrick never speak???
AAAAAA WIZARD ANGST! I'm tired of trying to watch stupid "Harry Potter American Idol". I'll just watch THIS. "No tomfoolery today, Ron!"
I read a really gross book yesterday. It made me feel unclean after I finished it. And it turns out that someone isn't real?? Sort of a copout. "The Basic Eight". They said it was "funny", but it was just gross.
"Why must you hurt me in this way, Harry?"
Dang, it did that thing where it just stops at a certain point and refuses to go on.
How come the vampire vid loaded so FAST. Anger.

Would you like some ice on that burn?

Yay. We had a brief power outage at school. All of a sudden, the portable goes dark....and everyone keeps on working. It wasn't like pitch black or anything, so no one really cared. And as soon as Mr. Thorsen got up to do something about it, it went back on. It's all good.
Went through 3? or so chapters today. I got stuck on "A Growing Multicultural Society" (which I was SO looking forward to, too) when they were like, "What are the five greatest population clusters in the Pacific Northwest?" and I didn't know if they were referring to ethnicity or size or whatever. The picture showed a bunch of multicultural kids, but the white kid they chose to represent was so ugly and of course he was eating chocolate chip cookies. Because I guess burgers are too American, or something.
Wow. Patrick from FOB = really adorable. I'm watching "Sugar, We're Going Down", which is borderline disturbing, and last night I watch most of "Take Over, Break's Over" before my computer shut down. HEMINGWAY! Pete = shirtless? And why did Joe look like Charlton Heston? And Patrick looked amazing. Apparently tho he has a real insecurity thing going on cuz he's always like, "I'm fat! This isn't a boy band because I'm fat!" and that's why he lets Pete be a loser frontman???
I <3 Patrick.
Guess I can't get out of Creation. Because my grandma doesn't love me. Ouch.
Luke says hello. He also says, "****," but we'll pretend he didn't say that.
WHY DOES THE KID HAVE ANTLERS??????
Lol, one of the vocab words was William Gates, and I was like, "No way. Uh uh. No. YES!" KING OF THE NERDS!
I wanted to write for my definition of Bill Clinton: President that had sex with an intern and screwed the whole country by not catching major terrorist when he had the chance.
I don't understand this video...
Actually, the correct definition of Bill Clinton was: President who threw away plenty of jobs by lessening logging and stuff in Oregon to save a stupid owl.
Okay, I understand this video now. Except for the part where Pete licks himself.
Also, they wanted you to explain how the KKK helped economically change the PNW. Um, they were a bunch of white supremacists that hated everyone, so they killed people. Yeah. Great. Can you feel that wind, son? Those are the winds of economic change...
