When you think about it...

...Nair is sort of disgusting.
It does awful, awful things to your bodily hair.
When you feel the hair in question, it's awful and stringy and disgusting.
But that's after not shaving for a while.
It keeps the hair away longer! Yay!
Enough about that. I probably shouldn't be telling you that.
Ahem.
The crazy cheerleader that made me so angry yesterday is once again sending confusing signals.
But what else is new?
Soooooo one day she's insulting me, and the next she's trying to engage in stimulating conversation?
Or throwing herself at the guy I like for weeks at a time, then joking around with me and ignoring him for three days in a row?
WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME??????????????
I doubt her intention is to make my life hell.
At least not all the time.
But it's so weird. I can't figure her out.
And there are days when I'm bipolar like that, too, so I can sort of understanding, but still...?
Confused.
The oral book reports continued today.
I was really surprised by the one this one kid gave.
He did it on Laurie Halse Anderson's "Speak", which was a good book, but he didn't just like it, but it seemed like it really affected him.
And he was super honest in answering the questions about how he related to the main character and how he felt for her and you could tell me meant all of it.
It was really cool, because I'd never seen that part of him before.
He might be an ENFJ. Hm.
But, when reading up on personality types on this amazing website, they mentioned that everyone is different. Even a group of 20 ISTJs are completely different people, even though they might think or act similarly in certain situations.
So it helped remind me not to prejudge or go off on another rant about Sensors vs. Intuitives or Judgers vs. Perceivers.
Even when someone was asked WHY men abuse women, and someone answered with WHAT men do to women.
Because they gave the WHAT information, it was assumed they'd also covered WHY.
And the Intuitives in the room freaked out. Myself included.
It's part of dealing with people, I guess.
Phew. Sophomore's almost done. 4 more days. Then a whole summer of missions, sun, and working on people skills.
And teambuilding, now that you mention it.
Hm. Our team better start planning soon. And drama! The meeting's in two days! Memorize script!
AND FINALS ARE NEXT WEEK.
Phew.

Football coaches aren't soft

Yoast seemed suspiciously Feeler-ish, though.
We watched "Remember the Titans" to build our comraderie.
Kristine, Sierra, and I formed a huddle of blankets and were quite comfortable.
Until Sierra's face got cold and she had to resort to listening to the movie rather than watching it, and Kristine burst into tears after Bertier's accident, and I followed soon after, more from consequences due to an extremely unbalanced diet in the past 12 hours than from sadness.
But 45% from sadness, definitely.
I got put on the 1st Grade team and I'm really excited. First grade is one step up from kindergarden, meaning the kids are still adorable and cuddly.
I don't envy the people who were put on the Jr. High team.
The people in my group seem to be really cool, too. There are no instant personality clashes, anyway. Well, maybe one. But it's completely one-sided.
Possibly.
I might just be imagining things.
AGAIN.
BECAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY THING I'M GOOD AT.
Sorry. Bitter.
I also signed up for the Drama Team, but they haven't said anything about that yet.
Parent meeting tomorrow!
Yeah!
Gooooo team!

You Are Vitamin A

You see the world vividly. You are a very visual person, and you pay special attention to colors.

And while you appreciate a sunny, beautiful day - you also like the subtle visuals of night.

You are youthful both in appearance and spirit. You are likely healthier than average.

You shine brightly and are best in small doses. Too much of your company can be overwhelming and even dangerous.

Everything's dumber in Texas

ALEXIS ISN'T MOVING TO TEXAS!!
Kevin told me as we were walking to math (there was an open house tonight).
Which explains why she's planning on painting her new room.
YAAAAY!
Open House was cool. I met all my teachers, and they seem nice, except for my psycho PE teacher.
He was talking about how aerobics is working out with oxygen.
???????
Don't you ALWAYS use oxygen when you work out?
In fact, aren't you constantly using oxygen EVERY SECOND?
Whatever. He made us run around the gym to prove some point.
He also made a big deal about how 1 OUT OF EVERY 3 PEOPLE IS OBESE!
Well, no. If you want to get technical, 30% of the population is obese, which translates to 3 out of every 10 people, and if you wanted to reduce that fraction, it would be 1 out of every 3.3 people is obese, but it's impossible to have less than a whole person.
But that's not as HARD-HITTING.
Like I said, he's a psycho.
My English teacher is TOO COOL, and I heard from a lot of juniors and seniors that he's the best teacher in school, but he's sort of a hippie. That's okay, though. He seems to really love reading and actually knows what he's talking about.
And as much as I liked (and sometimes didn't like Mrs. Sims), Mr. Rosedale seems more fun to be around. And we'll be watching tons of movies, so that's a plus.
Dang it, I only have one class with Karen. :P
I don't have any classes with Connor??
P Willy, ha ha ha.
My math teacher is so nerdy and awesome. We're going back to the Chicago method - YESSSSS, math will finally make SENSE again. And Mr. Macaras promised to show examples on the board (:D) and explain things thorougly (XD). Cannot wait for school. And school shopping.
History is awesome, too. We'll be doing a lot of projects that involve food and creativity. It's like we're not studying history at all!
My French teacher wasn't there, but his room has paintings that he's done all over the walls, so I won't be stuck with another teacher like I had last year. XP Yeah, only worst class ever.
Aaagh, my science teacher seemed nice, but I still hate science it'll probably be one of my least favorite classes.
There's this girl in my science class that I haven't talked to since 3RD GRADE and her mom somehow knew who I was and kept talking to me, and I was like, "AARGH, I BARELY REMEMBER YOU!!"
And the girl I used to be friends with is all popular and cute now, so I'm not sure if we'll be BFFs like before.
Not that I'm prejudiced.
I just tend not to fare well with people like her.
Agh, but that's shallow.
Maybe she'll help me actually UNDERSTAND science for once.
I'm reading "Eclipse" now and it's boring and sappy as ever. Edward is SUCH a JEEEERK.
Yeah, Jacob is immature.
But Edward is controlling. Ugh. So much worse.

Kotex lied to me (My butt is large and unsatisfactory)

I was going to write a song with that title, but I didn't.
That could almost be a Fall Out Boy song...if Fall Out Boy was an angry girl band.
Yeah. I haven't really posted. I've been...busy, I guess. I don't know where I've been.
This four day weekend seems ridiculously short. I think it was because for half of it I had basketball practice. LAME. None tomorrow, though.
Today was the last day of the "Rekindling the Romance" series at church, thank God. Now I don't ever have to hear about the marriage bed ever again. Hopefully, anyway.
I went to Sunday school, finally. It was okay. The message was cool and I really liked the speaker ("Aw...my heart flutters every time I see him..."), but it was like sitting in another hour of church. I knew a couple people, but I didn't want to say hi to any of them. I talked to one person the entire time. Who says I'm not social?
Ow. Ows. It's like my stomach hurts 24/7 now. Better than my hip, though.
Rereading Princess Diaries!!! Was trying to figure out which one was best. Time for another list.

1. Princess In Love (awwww...)
2. Princess Mia (DEMOCRACY! JP!!!)
3. Party Princess (Mostly because of Fat Louie's Pink Butthole)
4. Princess Diaries (the original one, which I first listened on tape, read by Anne Hathaway)
5. Princess in Pink (PROM!!)
6. Princess in Training (Except for Michael being a sex addict, it was pretty funny. And she became president of the sophomore class. w00t.)
7. Princess on the Brink (At least she broke up with Michael)
8. Princess in the Spotlight (JoCrox was the only cool part)
9. Princess in Waiting (70 pages of her stay in Genovia? So boring)

Yeah, I didn't count any of the 4 1/2's or whatever. That was invigorating. Crap, I have to go.

I will never move again.

So today was our Leadership Summit, and I got to SKIP ALL MY CLASSES!!! I also got donuts and a lot of good food. But the theme was "Unity" and stuff, so they got all kinds of food, and I ate SO MUCH. Like, 5 pieces of pizza and a bunch of puffy chicken. And I was still HUNGRY. Thanks a lot, Dominoes. But there were like 84 pizzas and we only ate a few.
Diversity training was kind of preachy, but pretty fun. I got to meet people and talk to them one on one instead of being forced into a group.
I also won THE SPIRIT STICK!! It's in my locker. Heheheh free T-shirt. And it didn't matter that I forgot my ASB t-shirt because I wore the black one all day anyway.
Wow, I have even more holds at the library. So many books, lol.
"P. S. Longer Letter Later" is still my favorite book. I first read it in 3rd grade and it's still really good. Should be a classic, but no.
SANDWICH COOKING GAME!
Aaagh, Mrs. Sims. It's a little hard for me to turn in my letters when you still have my BOOK JOURNAL! I finally found it and SHE HADN'T EVEN LOOKED AT MY LETTERS!! :P
I'm reading "Wind and the Willows" for my next book report. Lol, Mole does not wear pants. And Rat eats a lot, too.
