Just think, I started this blog in 7th grade: almost two years ago. *sniff* It brings a tear to my eye.
I kind of wish my family was Halloweenier. We've never done the trick-or-treating thing, but we do carve pumpkins. And eat candy, and sometimes cake/donuts. Is one black cat too much to ask?
Yaaaaay junk food binge. Micah's mom made cupcakes and bought us pretzels. Then Sarah let me eat some of her cookies. I made chocolate cupcakes. WITH ORANGE FROSTING!!
I love how I didn't wear a costume today. Jeff was all, "Is that a nerd outfit?" He was wearing a fairy outfit with a pink flowy skirt.
Lol Amanda had the best costume ever. She wore normal clothes and walked around with an orangutang saying, "SAVE THE ORANGUTANGS!!!" It was way cool.
Do do do do do.

They do come through...every once in a while.
Wow. I just realized one of my greatest flaws. I don't really feel like sharing, but it was like, Wow. I am actually a semi-bad person. Or not. But at least I've pinpointed exactly what's wrong with me, or one of the things, and I'm trying to conquer it. Is this what they call making progress? Probably not, since this whole last paragraph reeks of self worship. Guess not. But I know what to work on.
You really didn't need to hear all that, did you? I just had to write it down or it would've made no sense in my head.
Yay.
Now the whole world can read that.
Hmmmm too lazy to erase it.
Spasenie is amarzing. Yes, amarzing. I like their sax player. I wish I spoke Russian, though. Well, somewhat, but then again, I don't want to learn a whole nother alphabet.
Daaaaaaaang my Pony Pals are taking forever. I have like a million Maddie Finns, tho. HURRY UP, PONY PALS, HURRY UP!!!
I REALLY want a dog. "Amazing Gracie" is really good so far. I want a dog like Merlin.
Ugh, "The Amber Spyglass" is so dumb. Philip Pullman is like atheist, but he believes in God? Or at least, he believes in God, but doesn't believe he's actually God. It's so retarded. And confusing. That book makes my eyes glaze over. I hate Will SOOOOOOO much, and Lyra is a huge wimp now. All crying and snotting and meeking all over the place. WHAT HAPPENED?? YOU WERE SO COOL BEFORE! And Pantalaimon doesn't talk anymore. He just switches shapes sometimes. I miss him. He was actually a character in "The Golden Compass", but he reminds me a lot of Saphira in "Eragon". Just seems extra and doesn't add much to the story.
Math test today. I don't think I failed, but seriously? THERE WERE TWO TRIANGLES!! Everyone else got 695. Crap.
French is sooooooooo boring. I hate it now. Hate hate hate hate hate. I just want to be challenged and learn new things. I hate learning from the stupid tapes. "Listen and choose. Vocabulaire. Mots 1. Sophie n'est pas interessante." That's for sure.
Yoodle yoodle yoodle. Have to do chores. Poop.

8,337 people...making progress.
You have to admit, 8337 is a step up from 4500 something.
Go, wikipedia, go.
What? "Under the Boardwalk", one of my favorite songs in the WORLD, is really about sex??? NOOOOOO.
I thought they were busy enjoying the smells of the hot dogs and french fries. Aaargh, I am so grossed out now. It makes sense, though.
Under the boardwalk (out of the sun)
Under the boardwalk (we'll BE HAVING SOME FUN)
Under the boardwalk (people walking above) [that's just sick]
Under the boardwalk (we'll be falling in love) [Psh, you'll be doing more than that]
Under the boardwalk, boardwalk.
:P
I swear, people must LIKE drama if they go about stirring it up all the time.
Aaargh. Probably best not to overreact. Is it all right if I'm confused?
I need to read Stephen King's "The Mist", even though I dislike the man. Yeah, change of subject. Gaaaar.

And the cellos were playing, too
Ah yes. Math test tomorrow. I understand most everything. Hopefully I won't fail.
Do do do. Band concert tomorrow. Aaargh, we were doing really amazing at "Electricity", but we picked today to suddenly suck. Grrr. I hate flashlights. A lot. I saw this really cool recording of "Electricity" being played by a Singapore band, but there was like 50 people in that band and they were really good, so I felt like crap. :P
Do do do. Tyler was playing the cello? Amanda was emo/nerd with gangsta suspenders and a cool sweatshirt.
I realized I get nervous at just about everything, so that's probably why I'm really bad at "Are You Nervous?".
Pony Pals are taking forever, but I do have some Madison Finns in. Maybe after I'm done with that AND Pony Pals, I'll do "Avalon", seeing as that series really let me down.
WHAT??? They don't have the Halloween one? No way, I totally checked it out like 2 years ago!!! Probably 3. Can't remember. AAARGH! I KNOW THEY HAVE "CAUGHT IN THE WEB"! How come these girls are in 7th grade and Ivy looks like a 21-year-old supermodel on drugs???
I'm so addicted to "Monk". I just finished the first season and am anxiously waiting the 2nd, but it will probably be about a year before I ever see it because my library *cough cough* SUCKS *cough cough*. Seriously, my mom requested "The Cosby Show" season 2 in like January.
Ooooh, I requested that it be rushed. Is that mean? Eh.
"Baby Elephant Walk" is driving me insane.

Sharpay has feelings, too.
Aaaaaagh. I still hate that part in HSM2 where Sharpay is all, "You're a great guy, Troy. I just wish you were doing this for me." AAAAAAAAAAAGH!!! SHARPAY HAS A HEART!!! AND POSSIBLY A BRAIN!!! It was so sad. No matter how much she squealed loudly or manipulated the resort staff, SHE WOULD NEVER GET TROY.
Aaaargh. I watched "Win A Date With Tad Hamilton" last night at Jeannie's. Aaaargh. How depressing, and chock full of Sharpay moments like that. I feel so bad for Pete. Omg, Pete. He was so adorable. Seriously, Josh Duhamel has nothing on Topher Grace. I was like simeltaneously laughing and crying during that movie.
Aaaargh, "Just My Luck" is so lame. Wth, was that creepy little girl his daughter, because he would've had to have fathered her at like age 12ish??? She might've been his sister. Whatever. I did not understand that little Katie girl. Lindsay Lohan is way lame. I really want to read some Pony Pals. I might start doing Maddie Finn novels as a side project. But I have to put those on hold, too. Yaaaaay.
Omg. They have some new titles I hath not read yet. Let's see, I haven't read past #20, so I'm quite behind. I didn't know they were still publishing these. They don't sell them at Barnes & Nobles anymore. Uh. #17 really sucked, I remember that. I hated it whenever she got in a fight with Aimee, because Aimee was SO ANNOYING. Fiona was pretty cool, but Lindsay was way annoying.
AAAAGH AND THEN MADDIE AND HART FINALLY GO OUT! Omg, I'm so excited. I'm totally doing Madison Finn AND Pony Pals!!! Yaaaaay! I really liked #8, too. It had a message about anorexia.
Should I do it in series order or not?
Wow. I love HSM2.
And Atreyu.
And...
okay...
I'm coming out of the closet.
I like FF5. So sue me.

Do it right this time. *pause* Okay, I messed up.
I love this CD. So cool.
Aaaargh someone stole Tim's book and my book journal yesterday, only it turned out Tyler took Tim's book, but I CAN'T FIND MY BOOK JOURNAL! I had it in the library on top of my stuff and it was NOT there when I went to get it again. Not my fault, though. We could only take a pencil and had to put all our crap on the shelves. :P Oh well. I could always get a new one, but I want to show off my 5/5 on most of my writing assignments.
I'm addicted to "Monk". It's way cool. I'm trying to get my Mom hooked on "Psyche", but we don't get that channel. Aaargh. There's always the library. Yeah right.
Speaking of libraries, the librarian gave me this book that I have no memory of ever holding, and if I did, it was a LOOOONG time ago. Like 7th grade. Kind of odd. But it had my name on it. Weird.
Heh. Science was so cool. I threw a ruler at Drake. But then Mr. Campbell lectured us both about assault. Well, he shouldn't be hitting my nose then.
Jesse needs to time right. Our times were way off. Forget acceleration.
Aaaagh our practice for "Electricity" was so cool. Only I didn't get a stand light. Because they didn't want to plug mine in. Ouch. Kevin, Robert, and I were playing our little band game "Are You Nervous?" It's so awkward and probably illegal and it could be counted as assault to Mr. Campbell, but it's fun in a weird, perverted way. Kevin's really good at it when he's playing with a girl. Interesting.
Math was pretty cool, too. I got Tyler in trouble, but other than that.... Connor had tape on his forehead?
I love crossword puzzles.
I love Fridays.
I WANT A DOG.
And some Fritos.
And some chocolate chip cookies.
I'm almost on chapter 4 in the French book. I don't want to finish this book before the end of the year, but this is ridiculous. I also did all the work up to chapter 4 in the workbook. I'm such a nerd. I had to review chapter 3 today, and it made more sense. Maybe I should review chapters 1-3 and all will be well.
Uh oh. If we aren't to chapter 3 by November 6 I'm reading the end of the book. This is too slow for me.
First lunch today. That was pretty fun. Why is everyone I know in first lunch? Band should have first lunch. Only I'm pretty sure that's hazardous to your instrument.

Not only am I surprised that you can SPEAK, but you also like Evanescence?
That's me being a jerk right there. I do not stereotype. I DON'T. Okay, I do. But I wasn't at the time. And I didn't say that.
Aaaagh. Football game. We got our butts kicked. I think the score people scored wrong, because the other team's first touch down and extra point only got 2 points? Whatever. They scored a total of three touchdowns. We scored one.
But our pep band was SOOOOOOOOO much better. Sure, they had three sousaphones, two baritones, and two trombones, but they only played 3 songs: "Fun, Fun, Fun" (that's so loser. I'm sorry, but that's probably the dumbest song ever), their fight song, and "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" (which I really want to steal). Psh. We were amazing. Except they hogged all the space in the bleachers and the trombones kept playing my part. Hate.
Do do do.
AAAargh. I understand math sometimes, but when I have ONE simple question, Mr. Kovacs won't answer it. I was getting really mad during math and then I started freaking crying. Aaargh it was so embarassing. And then he didn't answer my question, but gladly answered it for another group. WTh?
Come on, Wikipedia, step it up.
I want a dog. I'm totally getting one and naming it Amy Lee. Boy or girl, I don't care.

Feaselday won't work
I LOVE BILL COSBY! I was watching "The Cosby Show" and Denise and Theo got in an accident with STEVIE WONDER!!! OMG, it was so cool. They got to go to a recording session and he was kind of creepy, but then he sang and everything was all right.
Aaaagh, there was an episode about Cliff's dad, who played trombone. It was retarded. He was so not playing, because he wouldn't stay on one position to play a note and the phrases didn't fit the way he was breathing. Eh. Lame.
FOOTBALL.
I am the best.
Mitchell is cool.
I love math class.
"Moon River" is like my favorite song, actually. Mooooon river.
Whereever you're GOING, I'm GOING your way.
I must get the most scores on quizlet. I MUST.
Hehehehe.
Go pants, go.
I think "pants" is my new favorite word.
PANTS.
Hayley Williams. Psh. You're NOTHING.

The Joy of Sox....omg that looks wrong
"Will Feaselday work?" "No, because that day we're taking the children out to see the feasels."
"Josie" is like my favorite song ever.
Man, I've had to take off like 4 really good tracks on this CD. I just don't want my dad listening to a song where the singer says, "He f***ed her."
Aaaargh. Aaaaaaaaargh.
I finished "The Subtle Knife". Ew. Hate Will. He's kind of boring. Phillip Pullman must like hate God or something. I thought Lord Asriel was the BAD guy. WHY IS EVERYONE ON HIS SIDE?? Aaargh. I'm definitely not. I'm scared to see how this will end. I don't know, it just seemed like a totally different series. "The Golden Compass" was sooo much better. Aaargh. My favorite character died.
Aaargh. I also hate my internet.
We had a lockdown drill today. :P So lame. They were going to have us stand out on the football field for an hour and a half, but they decided to forget that idea. Aaargh. French is the most boring class ever. If it had been a real emergency, we would be the first ones dead.
Football game tonight! Please don't let the band suck. "Woolly Bully" is getting better, but Mr. Faxon will be playing so I'm not too worried.
Trombone is so BALLIN.
Nathan, if you are reading this, Mrs. Sims knows about the earrings.
Go UW!!

Inappopriate band jokes...AND FOOTBALL!!!
Do do do do do do.
Lies and deceit. Hence the up.
Ah yes. The good old days. When math was just as hard as it is today, but the band was a lot better.
AAAAAAAAGH. "The Subtle Knife" isn't so bad, and I've read 87 out of 288 pages, but Will is so annoying. If I were Lyra, I'd want to live in a parallel universe, too.
I really want a demon. That sounds bad, but it's true. NOT A JACKAL!
Band was so gross. Jessica and I were sick for like 2 hours. And Mr. Faxon got it all on tape.
I lent Mr. Faxon my lightsaber. And I told him to buy us muffins. He said he'd already done that. Um, no, donuts are not muffins. Muffins are scrumptious.
Yeah. My day was way boring other than that.
INTRUDER ALERT!!! Ha. I'm pretty excited.
Wooo, football game tomorrow. We're probably going to lose, but hey. Should be fun. Please don't let our band suck, please don't let our band suck. I even get to say, "I'm with the band."

You're feeling so platonic
AAAAAAAAAGH BEAUTY AND THE GEEK!!
They did the makeover episode last week. Only the best episode pretty much ever.
And the transformations were more shocking than that of Nate last season. It was like Nate times 10. 9. How ever many geeks are left.
Jesse looked kind of odd. Really odd. They bleached all his hair. Joshua looked the same, except his hair was shorter, but I guess the new clothes and haircut made his geekiness more endearing, and he said something funny about hair. William didn't change that much, but they dyed (what was left of) his hair red. Joshua is really reminding me of a bird. Luke had nicer hair, definitely, but the makeover made him way self-absorbed.
Note: SAM MAKES MY SKIN CRAWL! And he looks like a duck.
Nicole was way hot after the makeover. I DO NOT LIKE GIRLS. But seriously. She looked like a short Katie Holmes.
OMG, DAVID LOOKED LIKE PATRICK STUMP!!! It was pretty crazy.
But John...wow...wow...wow...wow. He and Nicole went to the prom challenge together. Awwww. Except Dave was all, "I have a crush on Nicole, but I'll let her ask me out," and then she asked John out. :( So he asked out Katie, who's REALLY ANNOYING. She got kicked off, though, along with Luke. I can't say I was too sad by that. Although Luke's entry video was pretty funny. He was doing something with a train and the way he was sitting was funny. I think nothing else was funny about that video, but the way he was sitting cracked me up.
Yeah. I just needed to get that out of my system. Because it seems no one watches this show??? What??
"Hey Jazzy-Jazz, will you go to prom with me?"
*say no say no say no*
"Of course!"
Shay did not go the prom.
Neither did Sam.
HA!

Lol. "Wishes and Dreams" is like my favorite song ever. Besides "Lead Sail (and a Paper Anchor" and what not. FOREVER WE COULD BE, SOMEDAY YOU WILL FIND ME IN ALL YOUR WISHES AND DREAMS! Hm, this person is quite sure of himself. Reminds me somewhat of Cartel. Wow, de ja vu.
I learned tons of new French today, including making things plural. In French class, however, we've gone through about 3 pages of the chapter in a week. :P I read the entire chapter, but I'm not going to start the third one yet because I read some of it and I understood NOTHING. So I'm back where I started. Oh well. Now I know how to refer to groups of people. I don't feel like typing in French today. I want to disagree with someone, though. Heh. We get to do that tomorrow and I get to say, "MAUVAISE!!"
Listening to my secret band, ho hum.
I still love "Wishes and Dreams". That song lets me sleep at night. Because everyone knows a harsh fit of laughter makes you sleep better.
I finally got good at Donkey Kong. I'm at the Monkey Mines. Party on.
Dogs are pretty great. Office is great. Cuz all I did was practice French in the lovely quiet.
I HAAAATE "The Subtle Knife". I've read "The Golden Compass" like three times, but I tried to read "The Subtle Knife" in 7th grade and it was SOOOO boring. I'm reading it again, but AAAAAAAAAGH. I wish Philip Pullman had left Will out of the picture and skipped straight to "The Amber Spyglass", which I have not read.
Lol. Matt White is my background. He has very Garrett-Hedlund-as-Jack-from-"Four-Brothers"-y hair. It's pretty nice.
Lol. I really wish I could somehow have that conversation with someone of the male persuasion. It would be pretty hilarious. But no. It will stay in my brain forever. It was funny. Too bad.
Our eyes were locked....

Contradicted by underwear
Yeah. So last night wasn't so bad. I still can't dance, tho. Yeaaaah. :( And I missed "Girlfriend" and "Makes Me Wonder" because I was busy talking to my dad. All he did was man the inflatable slide for 3 hours. :P Sounds...fun. Agh. I hate inflatables so much. I honestly cannot stand them. Hate hate hate.
Um um um um dogs.
A guy in my science class was hitting on me. It was pretty weird/uncomfortable/stalkery.
Do do do.
My dad bought me a Snickers and some Sprite. He can't tell the difference between Sprite and Sierra Mist. There's a huge difference.
I woke up like an hour ago. Sad.
I was playing Donkey Kong Country but I can't figure out how to jump off the vines. Seriously. It's sad, but I can't do it. WHAT BUTTON DO YOU PRESS???
Dad was talking to Nathan for like a long time, but not on his cellphone, so I was telling him to get off, and he thought I wanted to talk to Nathan. No. I mean, he didn't know how to beat Yoshi Island 3. He's dead to me. Sort of. Yeah. HOW DO YOU JUMP OFF THAT STUPID CLIFF??
So I'll just sit here and play Donkey Kong and Mario and read Pony Pals and stuff all day long. Hurray for Saturdays and Carebear underwear.

Let's all become doctors!!
Aaaaagh too much drama in this house. I had two major fights with my dad and then one with my mom this morning. :P It sucks. They're calling me out on a respect issue and complaining all the time. Or at least yesterday.
I do feel pretty bad, and they're actually right, but I don't feel like they're taking any of the blame. Yeah, typical teenage thing to say. Whatever. They're telling me about all this stuff I did and I recall them doing the same thing in this situation. What's up with that? We're supposed to have this big talk today so my dad and I can resolve all our issues. So not looking forward to that, because I'll just explode again and that will mean more "talks", but if I'm all meek and begging to be forgiven, well, that's not honest now, is it? :P Aaargh.
School was actually pretty awesome, tho. I got to skip French (altho I heard they watched a movie. Awww.) and the rest of the day was pretty fun. I learneded!
Yeah. School is amazing. I want to live at school like Harry Potter. And take more than one language.
Yay, I finally got my book journal back, so I got to finish with stupid "Stardust". Ugh, lamest book ever. Well, not lamest, but it was a letdown. I had pretty high expectations for it. "Golden Compass" rocks.
I had to write a thank-you note today. Then everyone else copied it.
Science was cool. Did a lab. Awesome.
Yeaaaaaah, if vampires don't drink blood, what DO they do??
If the movie is better than the book, didn't the author fail? Because you can't make a book from a movie (unless it's one of those junior novelizations). It's sort of implied that if there's a movie being made from it, the book was amazing. I'm thinking of movies that were better than the books.
1. Eragon (sadly, and the movie was pretty awful, but Murtagh was a hottie)
2. Ella Enchanted (sorry)
I guess that's only two examples. As Mrs. Sims would say, not enough evidence. But I was totally looking forward to the transvestite pirate in "Stardust" and I guess that's only in the movie.
Aaaaaagh All-District tonight. Please no, please no. But yes. I'm forced to go. I have the sudden urge to dance to "All For One". That's like my new favorite song. Besides "Earthquake".

She falls to the ground.
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Depressing music playlist. Yeaaaaah.
Atreyu actually made some good contributions to that playlist. And my other new CD did, too. Only to a different playlist. Lol. Yeah, pants.
Today was totally boring and not fun until band, because we're having increasingly good rehearsals. Mm hmm. But French really sucked, because we barely even touched the new chapter because we had this huge lecture on prejudice and global warming, bla bla bla bla.....
It went on forever.
2nd period was actually all right, but then at the end of the period Mrs. Sims got way mad at us and accused us of being stupid or something?
3rd was so boring and I, surprise, don't get the math. At all. Whatsoever. Wth???? The homework was way easy, but no. I thought we were still doing lattice points and feasible stuff. WHAT DOES POINT INTERSECTION HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING????
But the rest was good. 5th was basically a free period.
And 6th we tortured Mr. Campbell and he taught us about force again. Yay.
Um yeah.
That was the extent of my day.
I want to play Mario. Or Donkey Kong.
Werewuff. Heh.

This is probably why I hate Stephenie Meyer....
You Are a Werewolf |
You're unpredictable, moody, and downright freaky. You seem sweet and harmless, until you snap. Then you're a total monster. Very few people can predict if you're going to be Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. But for you, all your transformations seem perfectly natural. Your greatest power: Your ability to tap into nature Your greatest weakness: Lack of self control You play well with: Vampires |
Lol. I made a "Suggestive Dancing Music" playlist. Put a lot of Hairspray on there.
Um yes. No quests today.
But Tim and I asked why the floor doesn't go up if the ground is pushing so hard, and Mr. Campbell said something about net force. So we asked what would happen if we took out all the furniture. It was pretty fun. His next response was about gravity, and I was tempted to ask, "Then why don't stars fall from the sky?" I know the answer to that, though. Yeah. It's fun being dumb. For a while, I just stared at the weird gingery part of my hair. It's really pretty. But I got all the homework done AND understood it. BAM.
AAAAAAAARGH, that stupid "Princess Academy" book SUCKED. Mira was such a Mary Sue. And of course there's a whole relationship between Britta and Steffan, so Britta's a liar, but Mira of course cannot comprehend human emotion and is TOTALLY COOL WITH IT. Right. Wouldn't you be a little miffed that the girl you thought was your best friend has been lying about the deaths of her parents and stuff? How cool a name is that, though? Steffan. Reminded me of that kid in band last year. Except he was 18 and Britta was like 12???? 13???? 14???? The age difference seemed really huge, and when Steffan was described as a giant, I got really grossed out. It was like picturing Ryne Sanbourn with Abigail Breslin. AKA illegal???
I want a dog. Really bad.
ASB meeting. I suck at those. We should just not have them.
Wait, if I'm a werewolf, does this mean my theme song is "Of Wolf and Man"? That song's pretty cool. I guess I can live with that, but I also like...wait, can't say that song. It's a nice song, though. And I swear, it was written about me. If you listened to it, you would agree. But you can't listen to it. Just a heads up.
We finally moved on to chapter 2 in French. It's about school and everything is making sense. I love French.

I've got all the time in the world
If you look in my heart, you'll know from the start, it's all I can do not to think about you.
OMG, JUMP5!!!!
This CD is so amazing. I should put "Spinning Around" on my ipod, too. But forealz. I pulled out that one Jump5 album the other day and it just wasn't as good as this one. Probably because they copied all these other songs by Earth Wind & Fire and stuff.
But seriously. I still know the words and stuff.
Yeah.
Tyler is driving me insane. WHO IS SHE AND WHY IS IT HER BIRTHDAY? I guess I only care because you kept bringing it up.
Drake spelled my name right? Whoa.
Lol, hilarious quest in the computer lab during science. I dropped my book behind the desk and I couldn't get it out, so Aisha saved it and she is my hero. And then Quintin pushed Drake behind the desk thingy. It was violent...and funny.
Heh. "To our cool summer song...."
Ew, speaking of books, I'm reading a really crappy one. It sucks a lot. It's like Esther, only the people are polygamous and the culture doesn't exist. SUCKS SO BAD. It's called "The Princess Academy". :P Miri is way annoying.
Chelsea told me it was a good book. But whatever, kids.
Um um um um um pants.
Okay, if you can get a maximum of 90 points on a French test, how in the world do you get 93? "I got 93!!!" "You can only get 90." "83. Whatever." Yeaaaah...
There's a new kid in office. He's pretty cool.
I UNDERSTAND MATH. How did this come about?
I also finished a cross word puzzle in 30 minutes. :) It's all good.

..::Periods and colons make good embellishments for poetry::..
So Nathan is leaving. So long, laptop. So long, Chess Titans and emulator games. So long, brother who looks like the guy from "Prison Break", only not black. Seriously, did you know that guy was mixed??? I didn't.
But I think college sounds pretty amazing. I mean, forget the fact that I have no idea what to do with my life, because everyone likes to shoot down the feeble ideas I do come up with. But it would be like high school, only YOU LIVE THERE! I'm sorry, but that sounds pretty fantastic. Actually, it's a lot less like high school because there's not as much social interaction and you have to listen to hour long lectures every single day, but there's school pride! And football! Not so much basketball, because college basketball is only fun on TV, but FOOTBALL!
I would sort of like to be on my own for a lil while, possibly forever, and escape this stupid rain and freezing temperatures, and take care of myself. But I'm sort of terrified of the dark sometimes, and I have no idea how to balance a checkbook, and I'm cool with a job as long it's at Starbucks, and does that pay for groceries??
So I guess I'm not living in the "real world" any time soon, because I've got a not so accurate view on all of it. Kind of knew that.
But don't you hate the people who give you the condescending smile and the freaking, "Don't grow up too fast?" It's like reverse psychology.
I just realized that whole monologue made absolutely no sense.
I did NOT get enough sleep last night.
But I watched "Gremlins" and part of "Small Soldiers", both pretty awful movies. Jay Mohr and Kirsten Dunst made me want to puke. And in "Gremlins", the Katey girl tells a stupid story about her dad died, and I am calling "Mythbusters", because I swear it's impossible.
So her dad climbed down the chimney in a Santa suit, his arms loaded with presents...and he slips and breaks his neck and dies. Um, right. Could you even fit down a chimney? Especially with all those presents??? And if you did slip, wouldn't you be more likely to hit your head or break a leg on the bottom. That's if you fit down the chimney.
La la la. Heh, my mom is buying me a chicken bake. I'm going to my grandma's. Life is all right. Sort of. Except for the fact that I'm not making ANY sense. And I suck at math.

Je ne suis pas allemagne. Je suis americaine.
Went to the corn maze. It was pretty amazing. Aaah, pun. But it was all right. If you could stand 4 girls, ages 12-15, yelling and screaming and singing through a field of corn, followed by a 31 year old youth pastor trying to supervise and find all the stations.
Aaaargh, I got an easy math problem wrong. STUPID STUPID STUPID.
I also went shopping at Old Navy with my mom and found some nice shirts.
I freaking hate math.
We went baby clothes shopping, too, but what's the point if the babies don't look good?
I REALLY, REALLY hate math. Mr. Whitaker is wrong. Mrs. Dickson is wrong. Mr. Kovacs is wrong. GETTING MAD DOESN'T MAKE FOR GOOD LEARNING!
Hate hate hate this assignment so much.
OMGEEEEZ, I read a really depressing book last night. It was called "Impulse" and was about three kids that had tried to commit suicide, so were admitted to an institution. It's written in poetry format, and it shows the relationships the three kids make with each other and the progress they make (you should probably stop reading here if you don't want to know the end, unless you're one of the weirdos who would rather read the spoilers, THEN read the book). But the girl character I thought was kind of unnecessary. The whole thing with her and Conner, and then Tony seemed way fake, and their dialogue was way retarded. "I love you more than anything I've ever loved." ????? You're 17???? But I didn't feel like she came to terms at all with her mom being kind of messed up, and she talked about watching her mom overdose, and then just leaving her there and not getting help. But later she was like, "Oh, I killed someone before, but it was a baby, because I had an abortion. It was my boyfriend's fault." ??? She barely talked about her boyfriend before, and it was mostly her parents who were a source of frustration, but suddenly it's all about Trevor or whatever. And then they've just climbed a mountain and Conner kills himself. It was way depressing, because you knew something bad would happen, but you didn't know what, and then he jumps off the mountain. :(
I dislike Christian book stores. Um, teen section, way lame. All Christian fiction about teenage girls: Girls meets perfect Christian boy, he's her one and only, and GOD LETS THEM GET MARRIED!!! Lame. Doesn't always work like that. Whatever happened to casual dating? Probably since all girls are freaks and think long-term, but it seems like all Christian girls are like, "I'll probably marry this guy." But I highly doubt the guy would be that serious every time. It just way bothered me. And then they were trying to market off this secular series as Christian? It was weird.
I'm hungry and I want chicken bakes. Way bad. I've been obsessing all week. But we're not having chicken bakes for dinner...we're having chicken. AAAARGH! IT WOULD BE SO MUCH EASIER TO BUY CHICKEN BAKES FOR $2.60 AT COSTCO!!! Nope, let's roast a bird in delicious juices and feed it to your brother.
Speaking of my brother, Nathan came home to go to homecoming. I didn't hear how it went. But we had muffins for breakfast (cheap, but tasty) and my parents are making lots of good food for him, so it's pretty good. If anyone asks me if I miss my brother one more time, I'll kill myself. You couldn't have asked this when he LEFT, two MONTHS ago? But not that much surprisingly. I think it's because I don't constantly think about it, like everyone assumes I must. But everyone else thinks it's because I have no soul and I want to remodel his bedroom. Lame.

Do you have a map...?
Apparently I have a very magnetic personality? Really? That's what my fortune cookie said. I don't know. Some quizilla quiz. Bring on the pickup lines.
Heh. I scared Robert today. It was pretty perfect.
So there's two doors in the hallway leading to the bandroom with windows. I saw Robert reflected in one of the windows going into the instrument room, so I hid behind the file cabinet. Then he comes out with coffee and his trumpet and all I said was, "Hi Robert." That solicited a scream and a slight slosh of coffee. Heh.
I've listened to my secret CD a lot recently. After 4 or 5 times I'd memorized it. I wish I could sing it for y'all. There are two songs that I especially like.
I wish I could sing it for you. :( Although there might be a day when all of you have forgotten them and I'll still be dancing and singing to their music and no one else will care.
Grades: meh. They were a lot better in 7th grade. I know it's just a progress report, but C??? I'm getting a C in science, which I know I can make up. And I think they mixed up my Office TA and French grades, because French is supposed to give out letter grades and they gave me a P. And Office gave me an A. Um, right.
So French = A, Pre-AP = B, Math = B, Band = B- (I can make that up, too), Office = P, and Science = C.
Ah, well. At least I'm not failing.
"Stardust" is pretty good. Not what I expected, but Neil Gaiman is a great writer. I'm almost done, though, and I've only done two sections of my book journal. :(
Just listening to some Earth, Wind, & Fire. Gotta get you into my life, into my life....
What Your Halloween Habits Say About You |
The scariest thing on Halloween is you! You definitely don't want any kids in costumes crossing your path - and you're willing to scare away any who do. Sneaky and devious, people should really watch out for you. You are usually underestimated and forgotten. Your inner child is stubborn and a bit bossy. You fear people taking advantage for you. You are always worried about protecting your own interests. You're logical, rational, and not easily effected. Not a lot scares you... especially when it comes to the paranormal. You are a traditionalist with most aspects of your life. You like your Halloween costume to be basic, well made, and conventional enough to wear another year. |
