Yukon, ho!

You Are a Mostly Polite Driver

You are generally an easy going, laid back person. However, you can't help but feel a little jealous and competitive sometimes!

You tend to go by what you feel - not by the facts at hand. As a result, you tend to make a lot of uninformed decisions.

You'd like to think you're a fair person, but you occasionally think you deserve a special kind of justice.

You can be a rather tense, grouchy person - but you try to maintain your dignity.

You have mixed feelings about authority figures. You understand their place, but you believe their power needs to be in check.

You are somewhat focused, but you are also a bit scatterbrained. Distractions can get you in trouble.

You don't feel a responsibility to anyone but yourself. You value your freedom more than anything else.

Your ego is a healthy size. You don't think you're more important than anyone else.

Yaaaaaaaah! Back to school shopping!
Kristine did some sneaky recon with Jon and ended up at the South Center mall with us before she left.
I bought a hat. It has fuzzy earflaps.
And it was 20 BUCKS.
But that's okay. It was worth it.
My mom bought me a fleece jacket, too, so I'm all set for Refuel.
Or Yukon.
School starts in a week! Colorado already started. Parent Night is tomorrow, and I'm pretty pumped.
I just need to find a fedora...with feathers!
Like the Pranksters!
"30 Rock" is my new favorite show.
I'm trying to upload pictures onto my computer unsuccessfully. I have no idea what I'm doing.
I've been playing a lot of Harvest Moon lately. Sometimes 3-4 hours a day. Sad.
But I managed to woo Nami in 3 days!!
Well, 3 months in game time. But still!
Now we're married and have a kid.
He WILL be a musician. I know it!
Amby and I were talking about Harvest Moon the other day. You can get different colors of horses? Shocking!
Argh my schedule is still horrible. Hate hate hate. I have a lot of classes with friends that I don't see normally, so that's ONE good thing, but most of the people I DO hang out with...no classes. Probably not even lunch.
Argh.

Has anyone ever died of menstrual cramps??

Wow. A weird couple of days.
My mom saw this dog on Craigslist, and there's a definite possibility it might become ours!! It's coming over tomorrow.
I can officially never eat at Wendy's again.
Just go on their website and make a menu in "Nutrition".
I got a frog from Senora!!! So did Alexis, but she got the green one, not the purple one.
So band is kind of getting old. It's mostly because I'm making it so, but aargh. Frustrating. Just can't wait till next year.
I GOT TO HARVEST MOON CHAPTER 4!!
So my son is an artist teenager now.
Everyone has aged.
The main character is SOOOO OLD!
You go from a cherubic brown-haired angel to an old, wrinkly zombie.
So gross.
"Prince Caspian" AND a three-day weekend.
Complete with a Mrs. Sims-style Romeo and Juliet essay, explaining who was to blame in their deaths and why W. H. Auder was an idiot.
Fun.

Fall Out Boy marathon!

Today in science, rather than write detailed steps of the combustion procedure on a piece of notebook paper, I typed a bunch of Fall Out Boy lyrics on my calculator. Then I realized I don't know that many.
Dad and I ditched first service yesterday and went to Starbucks.
He bought me hot chocolate that tasted like dirty beans.
The whipped cream was good.
Wendy's has the best burgers by far. They're square, juicy, and delicious.
They changed up the Frosty menu, though.
Now it's not just plain old chocolate Frosties. There are Frosty shakes, Twisted Frosties (Frosties in various flavors with various sweet things, such as M&M's and cookie dough mixed in), and VANILLA Frosties!!!
That's just not right.

You Are a Sweet Person

When it comes to snacks, you're more likely to grab some candy than heat up a pizza.

There's a good chance you're female (women prefer sweet snacks)...

Or at least, you prefer to be in the company of women.

Your tastes are simple and predictable. You are young at heart.

You tend to crave food you can just grab and eat.

I hate it when you try to take quizzes and it turns out they want your name and address.
Lemon Lime Stride is THE BEST!
Or maybe it's Orbit.
I have to go check.
DUDE, I'M WRITING A "HARVEST MOON" FANFIC!!! YEAAAH! It's sappy and lame (hey, it's a fanfic), but I'm having fun, and it's not as though anyone's going to read it.
And, despite what Amby thinks, it's not crude, unlike the "Baby Mama Drama" story.
Heh.
Mrs. Sims won't let us watch "Romeo and Juliet" anymore. I wanted to see Mercutio (and Tybalt) die!
So Nathan took us to Coldstone??
That's how I roll.
No, that's what I ordered.
No more track! Janessa, Allie, and I are the only 9th graders that didn't qualify for Districts.
That sucks.
BUt then again...NO MORE TRACK.

M is for Mini-pony!

It's 80 degrees outside, and even though I drank 3 bottles of water/Gatorade I sweat THROUGH my band jacket, the parade was great.
And it went by so quickly.
The waiting part wasn't so fun, but it went by much faster than LAST YEAR.
It was just SO HOT. I know 80 degrees isn't as hot as it could be anywhere else (such as The Gorge or Texas), but the humidity made it seem 100 degrees hotter.
I like how the one day we don't want it to be sunny, it's bright, sunny, and scorching hot.
We got to hang out with the Marines and their horses. They had a miniature horse pulling a cart. "It's a Mini-pony! Look, he even has an M painted on him for Mini-Pony!"
Gatorade is delicious.
Caleb's relatives are cool. They brought us Gatorade and food.
Everyone liked "We Like to Party (The Vengabus)", but no one joined our dance party.
I hate "Raiders March", and will continue to hate it till the day I die.
It doesn't help that the new Indiana Jones movie is coming out soon, and that song will probably be played a billion times.
Then again, I don't have to see it.
Ugh, there was this loser middle school from Sultan who STOLE OUR FIGHT SONG!! We were like, "Whaaat?" But they couldn't play it as well as us, and we played it right before stepping off just to stick it to them.
Buckets of sweat and many dance parties later, the parade was over.
So my Dad took me to 7/11 and let me buy an ice cream.
But Kevin had to lend me a dollar.
TRIPLE CHOCOLATE DRUMSTICKS!!!
I remember eating like 5 of those at Creation.
Aw, Creation.
So yeah.
SWEET, I managed to get through 6 days of Harvest Moon by employing the "Do chores, then sleep" method.
At this rate, I should be done with the chapter by next Saturday!
Maybe I can even beat the game before school gets out!
1 year per week.
4 years remaining.
Wait...how many weeks are left in school?
23 days of school left!!!
That's like....5 weeks.
I CAN BEAT HARVEST MOON BEFORE THEN!!!

I'd rather be a blood-sucker than a rapist

"Dune" is a pretty lame, gross nerd movie.
Today is quite a momentuous occasion.
I got my very first tardy today.
It's so weird, though, because during all my three years at school, I've NEVER gotten a tardy.
I got SOOO many in elementary school, but never in junior high.
Huh.
Track meet was pretty cool. BEAT MY 200 BEST TIME BY .02 SECONDS!!! It was so hot, but in a good way.
At least, until everyone started crowding around in the shed trying to get their times in.
There's a "Harvest Moon" film?
OMG, I got all of my Madison Finns, but I can't READ THEM yet.
"Neptune's Children" is a fantastic book. It's like the Lord of the Flies, only with girls, and REALISTIC THINGS HAPPEN!
Better go play Harvest Moon.

Patrick Stump is still wrong

I still can't believe it's the end of the year already!
Well, almost the end of the year.
There's 29 days of school left...I think.
And it's still weird how much people have changed and are still changing.
We're going to be in HIGH SCHOOL next year!!
How weird is that?
Both my mom and Nathan said high school was awesome (my dad didn't share that sentiment), but it's such a big school, I have to take zero period PE (blah), and I might have endless classes with a bunch of people I don't like so much anymore.
Why is it that people you thought you'd always be friends with are the ones you lose the fastest?
Gross, that sounded soooo Madison Finn.
Chapter 3, Year 2, Winter Day 1 on Harvest Moon.
Almost there. ALMOST.
5 more months until Chapter 4.
Let's see, if I do a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 4 days on HM each day, then....
49 days left divided by 3....
49 days left divided by 4....
I should beat Harvest Moon: Chapter 3 in 13-17 days.
Oooooh.
I estimate it will take 2 weeks, if I play everyday.
*gasp* School won't be out before then! I can still brag to Amby!!
The Perfect Harvest Moon game:
Four cows, one of each type of cow.
4-5 chickens.
Marry Celia.
Plant fruit trees in year 1, receive free seed maker.
Create a dream farm with ALL the buildings.
And cook!!!
