My puppy...let me show you it.

OMG!!! MY DAD SAID WE CAN GET A PUPPY!!!!!
Sure, it won't be till this summer, which most likely means July or early August, BUT STILL!
My mom and I are hoping for either a Pug, or a Chihuahua. Lol. Like Paris Hilton.
There's just something about Chihuahuas in purses.
Argh, I sort of bent my glasses today in basketball; someone hit me in the side of the head with the ball. -_- But I got them fixed at Costco. I guess today was crappy samples day, because who wants melon preserves and lentil soup?
GAME DAY TOMORROW!!!
You should come!!!
Only it's an away game. Scratch that, don't come.
I am not responsible for this next Spirit Week, so DON'T BLAME ME!!
Agh, a new assignment in Health. We have to draw pictures representing the following:
1. The most significant day/event of your life
2. Your greatest achievement in the past year
3. The happiest day/event of your life
4. Something you are good at
5. Something you hope to get better at
6. 3 words you want to be remembered by.
The only one I'm having trouble with is #3. All the things I can think of are superficial and not that important. I was considering "switching churches", but I don't know what I would draw for that.
Yay, we got to color the periodic table in science!!! How pretty.

Harry Potter Happenings

I'm rereading the Harry Potter series!
*fanfare*
Yeah. I'm on the third one right now. :( I keep seeing all this foreshadowing that I never saw before, obviously. And I hate reading it when I know which characters are going to die.
Tom: You got a smart owl there, Mr. Potter.
Lauren: *bursts into tears*
Yeah.
"Potions Class", the wonderous Youtube film, takes direct quotes from the first potions lesson in "The Sorceror's Stone".
Just not the part about hot babes. :(
Apparently high-wasted jeans are back in fashion. Ha. I had a pair before this news, but I feel so much more confident now that Fergie advocates my fashion choices.
Sadly, that's sort of true.
LIFE IS ALLLLL BUT SO SHORT, WE ARE YOOUUUUUUUNG, WE WANT MORE!
Ah yes, the silent songs of sadness song.
THAT'S a mouthful.
Wth, quizilla? "NARUTO! NARUTO! NARUTO! NARUTO!"
I was laughing at things that weren't so funny today. They were supposed to be sad.
For example, the death of a dog.
I was sad when I first heard the news, but the owner's reaction (my two year old cousin) was not sad.
Have you ever had a two-year-old contradict you? It's kind of funny.
I don't need air.
Sorry. Just singing.
Apparently "Thr3e" really sucks. In that case, I'm not wasting any more time on it.
My dad's already halfway through the 5th book. That's pretty huge. I don't know exactly when he started it, but when I left for camp he was still on the 4th one. He says he's going to finish it tonight. I hope he has enough tissues.

I will give you Thr3e wishes.

Lol. Are you a gold diggin' woman?
She's a gold digga, but she ain't messing with no broke...finger.
Gaaah, I had to play trombone with my family during church. Wait. That makes it sound like we were all play trombone. Okay: I had to play a quartet with my family; me on trombone, Nathan on tenor, William on alto, and Dad on flute. We played "Simple Gifts". I didn't mess up like the time when I played in my grandma's church and my spit valve was full and I couldn't hit that high C. I mean, come on. IT'S A HIGH C!!!
NOT HARD TO HIT!
AAAAAGH!
I love this shirt. It looks just like the sweater Seaweed wore in "Hairspray" when he rescued Penny. ("DEVIL CHILD! DEVIL CHILD!")
You Are Not a Gold Digger

You go out of your way to take care of everything in your life.
Including money - which you've got plenty of, thank you very much.
And you have no intentions of being a trophy girlfriend for some bald guy.
Just make sure that hottie you met isn't scheming to be your boy toy!
As a successful woman like you knows, gold digging goes both ways these days.

Do do do.
I had a cute kid in nursery named Mac who reminded me a lot of Lachlan.
"I'm a giggly guy."
"Yeah, you sure are, Mac."
"*grabs mouth* I GOT YOUR GIGGLES!"
And then I was playing with Jaylin and we were fighting over a baby (A TOY BABY! I'm not placing an infant in my hands to play tug-o-war with.) and Mac was all, "NO NO NO! SHE HAD IT FIRST!" and he hit me with a goldfish.
Hm. This is pretty accurate.
I've probably taken this quiz before.
The True You

You want your girlfriend or boyfriend to be more open with you. [Don't have one...]

With respect to money, you spend as little as possible. [Yes and no...]

You think good luck depends on maintaining good relationships with others. [Does this refer to karma? Question mark?

The hidden side of your personality tends to be easily attracted to fads and fashions. You are showy and want to be noticed. [Hahahahaha. Emo...]

You are tend to think about others' feelings a lot, perhaps because you are so eager to be liked. [YES! I'M A PLEASER! And it sucks, by the way.]

When it comes to finding a romantic partner, you will search and search until you find your perfect match. [Probably. Which also sucks.]

I love brackets. They are so much cooler than parentheses.
Yeah.
I swear, this shirt is amazing.
Kind of tight, but hey. I'M SHOWY AND I WANT TO BE NOTICED.
Pretty much.
Did y'all love/hate/despise/enjoy/laugh at my story? That's cool. I read a really crappy book by someone who supposedly received the Edgar Allen Poe award four times for her creepy mysteries for teens! Whatever. I read "Don't Scream" and figured it out in like 5 seconds. it was so obvious.
I'm reading "Thr3e by Ted Dekker. He's so much cooler than Frank Peretti, who's all worried about demons and crap. But he killed the dog. That ticked me off. >:P
Awwww, my cousin's dog died. He was a pug. So sad...

Ooooh, how luxurious.

You Are Midtown

You love so many things, you don't fit into any one label.
Your city girl persona goes to a fancy restaurant one night and a dive bar the next.

Yeah. Pretty much.
I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!
Was I missed at all? Yes??? No???
I actually didn't miss you, OR blogging. It was kind of cool.
I think I missed Friday's slew. Oh well.
CREATION WAS AMAZING! I actually like eastern Washington.
I will say it now: WESTERN WASHINGTON SUCKS. Forget the coastal region. WELCOME TO THE GORGE, HOW MAY I HELP YOU?
I'm totally moving there and starting a dairy farm.
Wow, this quiz is making me laugh already. "Is he a boy or a man?"
However, the first day of Creation really sucked because we got there at 4:30 AM and I'd been up since the day before, and I didn't sleep AT ALL. It was bad. So I just at there and read all 6 of the books I'd brought with me. And the evening concerts were so not worth it. Except for Relient K, who is amazing.
I cannot wait for this result.
OH NO!!!!
He is a Man

You have yourself a perfect gentleman and a total keeper
Your guy almost always acts appropriately
He's probably even very upstanding when you're not around
There's no boy left in your boyfriend - he's all man!

He's all man! Lol.
That is not what I would say.
"You have yourself a perfect gentleman." Um, not really.
Oh boy. Extroversion versus introversion.
There was this petting zooish thing near the main stage that had a miniature horse, a pig, two puppies, a goose, some ducks, some chickens, lots of goats (pygmy and otherwise), a turtle/tortoise (who knows...), and a CAPYBURA. Also a cow and some zebus, but they are unimportant.
Pig = adorable. Who needs a pug when you've got a PIG? He liked pretzels (don't ask how I know that). But now I know the expression "sweat like a pig". Gross.
You Are An Extrovert!

You have a ton of friends, perhaps more friends than anyone you know.
Nothing to do on Friday night? No problem for you to find the action.
You're friendly, easy to know, and you seem to get along with almost everyone.
You love to express yourself - and everyone knows a good deal about you.
Whether you're giving your opinion or sharing your dreams, you don't keep anything in.

YES! Kind of knew that. Living life on the EXTROVERTED side.
Some really good concerts were Run Kid Run, David Crowder band, MXPX, Red, Stellar Kart, and...can't really remember anymore. Oh yeah, Disciple and KJ-52. Cools.
I yelled at someone to watch out for the kangaroos. It's all good.
But then some guy came up and did a Polish dance??? And Ben is a secret agent???? And a guy wearing cool pants liked MXPX???
Life is odd.
MORE QUIZZES, YO!
Hm, this should be weird...
WHY??? WHY???? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??
You Should Wear Black Lipstick

Confident, dramatic, and unexpected.

Your look: Gothic beauty

Your signature lip gloss flavor: Ginger

No, I'm good, thanks.
Aaaah, so looking forward to the "Is He A Playa?" quiz.
How does my mood rate?
Okay, Tobymac is trash. HIS BAND IS BETTER THAN HE IS. And he's not even okay. Very subpar.
They're going to say like 8! or 7! or 10! 10! 10! various times. I hate that. SAY 10 ONCE! SAYING 10 MORE THAN ONCE DOESN'T MAKE IT BETTER!
Your Mood is a 8

You're definitely having a pretty good day. It could be better, but not a lot better!

Uh, I wasn't before. Stupid guy woke us up at 6:00. WITH A MEGAPHONE.
But we went to Perkins and I got a muffin and a Belgian waffle and bacon and saw my prayer leader in the bathroom but then a toilet flooded and I was trying to escape but then I couldn't get the towels out.
What Kind of First Impression Do I Make...NO COMMENT.
And the answer is...*drum roll*...please don't be lame or "You give off a shy vibe, so people hate you." Thaaaaanks.
To quote "Take the Lead": Say WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?
Hey, Elijah Kelley was in that movie. And I just like saying the above because the Asian kid was Rufio and I have a hard time taking him seriously.
You Make a Good First Impression

You probably are making a much better impression than you realize.
Social situations can be a bit awkward for you at times, and you tend to over think what you say and do.
If you make a social faux pas, you remember it a lot longer than anyone else does.

Just relax and do your best. There are little things you can do to improve your social image.
Express more of an interest in the people around you, and be a good listener.
The secret of fascinating people is that they find everyone else fascinating!

A quiz about LA or NY. I am NY. Because I'm so hardcore.
Psyche.
Hardcore is officially the dumbest word ever.
Actually, no. Just depends on how it's used.
See? Told you.
You Belong in New York

You're a girl on the go, and LA's laid back lifestyle isn't really your thing.
You prefer a city that never sleeps, and people as ambitious as you are.
Cultured and street smart, you can truly appreciate everything New York has to offer.

Slightly disagree.
I just think "hardcore", like Rufio, is hard to take seriously.
AM I PICKY ABOUT MEN? Ooooh, that makes my spine tingle.
I am picky when it counts. Here that, fuzzies? I am picky when it counts.
I just realized the fuzzies are stronger the farther you are from homebase. If you catch my drift.
Wow. Wow. Wow. This description couldn't be wronger.
You Are Picky When it Counts

Like most sane women, you want a great guy who will treat you well.
But you're also willing to put up with a few flaws in your Mr. Right
You should congratulate yourself on having a realistic approach to dating.
You probably have quite a few great guys you can date!

I don't mean to come off sounding like I have very little self esteem, BUT LET'S BE REALISTIC.
I wonder if this site was made for 14-year-old girls with no life who love to see if they're a playa.
SUSPICIOUS!
Gah. I didn't eat lunch.
This one looks dumb.
OH MY GOODNESS!I TAKE IT BACK! I SO TAKE IT BACK!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAH!
You Should Stay in Shape With Running

Chances are that you're already in fairly good shape
Why not challenge yourself with a run from time to time?
Running will give you that lean, toned body you desire

That's kind of scary...
Almost as scary as the dachsund thing... GAH.
I'm so going running tomorrow. RUNNING IS AMAZING.
So much for not taking these things seriously.
Let's see, let's see...is he a PLAYA? Well, if he is, DO I CARE???
I can't really answer these questions. Oh well. Should be fun.
Wow. I am swallowing the desire to laugh.
OMGEEEEZ! THEY EVEN SAID "YOU" INSTEAD OF "YOUR"!!!!
Uh oh, polka dot boy is a plaaaaya. Why would you date a guy who wore polka dots??? Wait, stupid question. Shouldn't matter, but that is an UGLY shirt.
You Guy May Be Playing With You!

He could be playing around - or maybe he's just playing games.
Either way, your guy is sending you mixed signals...
And leaving you confused about his love for you.
It's time for you to do some major recon... and see what he's up to.

Pugly

I want a dog. I want a dog SOOOOOOOOOO BAD. I started reading "Marley and Me" and so far it's pretty good. I'm only on page 22, but it's good.
BUT I WANT A DOG!
It's only been 5 weeks, according to my mom, but it seems a lot longer. And if my dad still doesn't want one, I have a FAIRLY okay argument: I want a long break (from athletics) like he does from a dog, but I only get a three week break and then it's back on track. Literally, I'm doing track. Actually, that's kind of a sucky argument.
Dang.
I just WANT CANINE COMPANIONSHIP!
Like a pug. A pugly pug. *does pugly frown*
I think something died back by Luke's cage cuz it SMELLS BAD. Maybe he killed someone.
Or maybe it's that rat that was eating the food.
GROSS.
THere's going to be a rat festival in Kitsap?
I WANNA GO.
*drives down* WEeeeeeee, look at all the rats.
What Santa's reindeer am I?
CHECK OUT QUIZ OF THE WEEK!!! There was actually SEVERAL OTHER really good ones, I just can't remember them. Eh. I like this one.
You Are Rudolph

Sweet and shy, you tend to be happiest when you're making someone else happy.

Why You're Naughty: You sometimes stick that nose where it doesn't belong

Why You're Nice: Christmas would be a sad affair without you!

YAY, RUDOLPH! I wanted to be Rudolph, though. OR TUNDRA!
Like in that Jan Brett book.
YAY JAN BRETT!

I had pizza last night. Mmmmmmmm, pizza. Extra large. 4 pizzas. Mucho delicious.
Only the fourth piece got cold and started tasting really gross, so I took away the crust and gave it to nothing.
It was kind of sad, really.
Gah. All because I don't have "true love".
Me and my cynical love views.... *shakes head*

For the twelve days of Christmas, your true love will send you:

Twelve babies drumming
Eleven candycanes a-sticking
Ten ice skaters a-leaping
Nine ladies singing
Eight sheep a-milking
Seven eggnogs a-intoxicating
Six drunks a-drinking
Five golden bowls of chicken noodle soup
Four calling prank callers
Three French tourists
Two diamond pinky rings
And a owl in a pine tree

I do have a good philosophy though, that isn't bitter and self hating and is only VERGING on feminist, but it's kind of sappy and lame.
I'm sappy and lame. How sad is that?
I just love pine trees.
Not. THey smell gross.

We're Marley and Marley

AAAAAAAAAH, ISN'T SHE ADORABLE? He? She? I don't know. I love him. Her. It.

According to the Dog Breed Quiz, we should have a Toy Poodle or a Bichon Frise. I WANT A PUG!

Okay, there was this pug in South Carolina and we couldn't tell if it was named Molly or Marly because her owner had this heavy Southern accent.

And there's this one scene in "A Muppet Christmas Carol" where Statler and Waldorf are both Scrooge's dead partners, Marley and Marley. Soooo, I give you.

We're Marly and Molly.

LBLBLBLBLBLBLB.

I want to adopt her and take her home.

FINALLY, I can listen to Evanescence!!!! And Dizmas! and the Barbie movie soundtrack collection!!!!! Did I just say that out loud????

I'm thinking about writing another trail journal. Who should come, who should come...

AMY LEE AND MURTAGH, OF COURSE!

I'm still sick with a fever of 101.6?

I guess that means no practice tomorrow.

Dang.
