Clear nailpolish: more dangerous than you would think!

I'm officially addicted to the "Moulin Rouge" soundtrack.
My keyboard isn't working properly. Too irritating.
But seriously.
David Bowie is always great, but I love the song "Nature Boy" and he managed to blow me away twice.
"Because We Can" gets stuck in my head way too often.
I honestly can't remember "Children of the Revolution", and I don't think "Rhythm of the Night" was there, either.
But "Elephant Love Medley" is cheesy goodness.
And "Roxanne" kills me every time.
So does "Hindi Sad Diamonds", come to think of it.
"The Show Must Go On" was really a perfect song choice. It's the perfect song in general.
Besides "Mr. Brightside". And "(If You're Wondering) I Want You To" by Weezer.
I really want the second soundtrack, but there's been a mishap.
I might get it in the mail after Refuel.
"We're creatures of the underworld. We can't afford to fall in love."
:(
Not SUPER looking forward to Refuel tomorrow.
But I am a little bit excited. I mean, it will be fun.
I'll be hanging out with my brother the entire time, but hey!
And the cabin situation will DEFINITELY be better than last year.
Yeah. Just been tired and sick all week. Not much going on.

Goo goo g'joob

It turns out those are the real lyrics to "I am the Walrus".
It's freezing.
Today was my little brother's 13th birthday.
So he's technically a teenager now.
And he's doing well at junior high, so he should be more popular than Nathan and I combined in about 2 years.
But we had planned to go to Outback...and it was closed.
So we went to Red Robin and watched someone drop a huge bucket of dirty cups.
The cups went everywhere.
Some broke.
That poor guy's job is history.
Unless they take it out of his paycheck.
My dad was pretty incredulous.
"They can do that???"
Um, yes.
Joe Cocker is so cool.
I wish I could dance like him.
Timothy T. Mitchum was probably the best singer in the movie...and they killed him!
Jim Sturgess is pretty cute, but it sort of looks like he's eating Evan Rachel Woods' face.
Poor Prudence.

Being an Anthony Rapp spaz

MWAHAHAHA the "Rent" soundtrack is MINE!!!!!
The DELUXE version, too, with all the songs, for $27 dollars at Barnes & Noble!!!
Overpriced, yeah, but SO worth it.
Ha. Incendiary wit.
My dad is so jealous.
WHY ARE MY DREAMS SO WEIRD???
Maybe it's because of what I eat.
Maybe there are copious amounts of hallucinogens are being fed me by my parents.
I don't know.
But the Michael Phelps dreams have to stop.
Especially the ones where I somehow end up married to him.
It probably wouldn't be very fun to be married to Michael Phelps.
I couldn't handle the fame...or the ego.
Michael: Yeah. I won 8 gold medals last Olympics. More than anyone ever! I'm the greatest Olympics champion that ever lived!
Lauren: That's nice, honey.
Michael: Feel my arms. Feel them. FEEL THEM!!
Lauren: *half-heartedly pokes a bicep* Yeah. Nice.
Michael: I won 8 gold medals with these babies. Did I say that already?
Lauren: Yes, honey.
Michael: Well, that's what happens when you swim 18 hours a day.
Lauren: I know. That's all you did on our honeymoon.
Michael: Yeah. Good times, good times.
Seattle is pretty much the cooliest.
"What You Own" made my mom spit up laughing.
Lisa and I have vowed to finish the "Twilight" series, no matter how awful it is.
And as melodramatic and boring as "New Moon" is, I can't NOT finish it.
Vampires are overrated.

Shut up and drive

I'm loving "Dancing With the Stars" this year. The only people I don't like are Monica and...mostly just her. Shannon is kind of ditzy, but also really good. Argh, I sort of hate Jason.
Okay, so the Jonas Brothers performed "Take Me On", only the best 80's song ever, and it was awful. Joe is so convinced he's a good singer. Nick's voice is a little better, and Kevin's the least annoying, except for his retarded guitar-playing poses. Argh, Nick would be less annoying if he didn't keep going, "Yeah, I'm pretty sensitive. I write songs about old relationships."
Um, what relationships?
All one of them?
When you were 12?
With your SECOND COUSIN!!!!
But I'm not one to talk.
Right now it's between Penn and Cristian. Hopefully it's Penn.
Omg, "The King and I" is the best movie ever.
Sure, Yul Brenner plays a mysoginistic egotistical dictator, but there's something about his humor and fractured English that's semi-attractive.
No, I'm not drooling over Yul Brenner, but I can see why Anna would be drooling all over him.
It doesn't hurt that all the guys in that movie are shirtless half the time. ^_^
The cartoon version is even better. NOT. :P I remember a volcano, Chulalongkorn being all emo and kickbox master-y, a panther, and a hot air balloon.
And "Anna and the King" was SO DEPRESSING. In none of the movies does Anna ever get the guy.
OMG, I found "The King and I" soundtrack, sung by Julie Andrews and Ben Kingsley, and it is the best thing EVER. Peabo Bryan and Lea Salonga (of "Mulan" fame) pair up as Tuptim and Lun Tha and they are AMAZING. Julie Andrews is the perfect actress.
So much sweat. So much music. Not enough lunch. Mmm, Gatorade. What's with all the "The Wizard of Oz" music?
